I hope Vinny is feeling better...pregnancy tends to bring out some of the worst behavior and moods sometimes. Maybe its so you get them all used up and out of your system before baby comes?

Well we lost my uncle to cancer, my dad has brain cancer, and my cousin has stage four colon cancer.

I'm so sorry Kirin! -hugs- I wish there was something I could do to help you and your family. If you want I could ask my mom to add your family to her church's prayer chain?

My sister's husband has stage 4 stomach cancer, and things aren't really looking good for him right now. :(
(That's one of the main reasons that I've barely been on - I've been doing all I can to help my sister and brother in law out while they're going through this really tough time. And that, on top of my own family has been taking up pretty much all of my time.)

At least he's gotten a at least year with his son. My sister was terrified that she'd raise her son without him knowing his dad, so at least they have that - they learned of his cancer when she was still pregnant. It's been a long year and a half for them. :(

It's been hard on all of us, but we've been rallying behind them, giving them as much support as possible, and helping them out as much as we can. :)

Most days I have been taking their son (he's almost 1), so that she can take breaks or go to appointments, or go shopping, or just relax. Do whatever she needs to do to get some me-time in.

That’s really nice of you Livi! I’m glad she’s got someone to help her out.

On a side note, I’m so freaking happy it’s friday! I just gotta deal with my psycho mother-in-law for a few hours then hubby and I are free for the weekend!
