But yay, chickens! I had some chickens growing up. We got them when they were still chicks and I used to make them lie down by gently patting them down, simulating the mother, right? Once they were older, we built them a pen outside. I remember one chicken's butt and tail feathers were always getting picked on by the other chickens; so I got the bright idea to bring it inside, clean its butt off, put some ointment on it and bandage it up. xDD Worked though. I also had the not so bright idea of feeding their own eggs to them. (I didn't know! :gonk: ) But sadly, they all died when the neighbor's dogs got into the yard and pen. =\

If you handle them a lot as chicks they become really friendly! I have really old hens...so tey aren't so friendly but they are getting use to me now!

Feeding them eggs makes it where they won't lay...I just found this out recently. But I am half tempted to feed them some since I gt 5-10 eggs a day! D: Way to many for just me and my husband.

Yeah. I like friendly birds. （￣ー￣） Ours weren't handled too much though so they grew up to become a bit scared of us. They weren't aggressive though; so that was fine. They can be scary when they're aggressive.

Aggressive birds are scary!We have this one female who took on the male role (we don't have a rooster) so she likes to peck and squawk at me every time I come into the cope! D: Then on top of it I put in roosting areas for them so she will jump off of them and try to land on me! She's a mean one.
That's a hard profession to get into! My sister-in-law is trying really hard to become one.
