I will definitely. I might simplify the characters more... then it would actually be easier to do the illustrations. It was the danr details that were killing me. But since it is for a children's book, details aren't really THAT important. It's the lesson and the colors that keep kids interested anyway. Their bodies are kind of simple already but the faces and the hair of Amina could be simpler. I know I started out with something crazy messy and then made it a little better, but I think, more simplification could do it some good. So I'm feeling motivated to do it again. And giving them thicker tails as well. But all in all, they look like the same characters, just kind of more "chibi" ish though not exactly chibi.

Are you still looking for artists, cause I'm kinda interested in this but I have a little commission to do. So how does this work.. if you accept the artist, do you give them a transcript of the story, and is there a deadline when to complete?..

Flowery Pit: so if the artist is accepted, (I mean if I accept XD I act like someone else is looking at it) then I send them the story line in alternating highlighted sections and not to show the different pages. Then the artists has full creative rights to how they want to draw it out. I only ask that the little things about the characters remain the same, or similar, like the clothing that they wear, their hair and their heights. There isn't really any kind of deadline right now and it's still in the air because I'm working out bugs from the first story.

I kind of want to wait until my friend sends me her intuoso because she's going to get a new one. I think it'll help with how things look online and on the computer because then I won't have to scan them and darken tons of lines and things, it'll all be done digitally :3

Oh okay. Well ping me when you get your tablet, cause I like projects. Well, if at that time you're still accepting. :)

I mean, if you'd like, you can take a look at the topics that the stories are about and I can send you more information. I'm just waiting for my tablet and playing around with a way to simplify the characters, but if I had the tablet, I wouldn't have to simplify them. I guess I'm just drafting sketches and ideas for when I can put more things into motion XD If you'd like more info or would want to work on a particular story, let me know ^^

It depends what drawings you're asking about. Digitally, I use Photoshop and traditionally its charcoal pencils.
