Gemini sighed. "Yes, we're done, Finx. Let me know when the child is born. My offer of adoption still stands." She said warily, then turned to her fiancee. "Now, are you saying that I can actually create my happily ever after, if I wanted to? I could make it so that you and I can get married and be together forever? And Stanton could e a prince?" She asked.

This last question caused Stanton to sputter and cough. "A prince? You actually think I would be fit as a prince?" He asked disbelievingly.

"Of course! You proud, Hard-headed, and you have an air of regealty around you!" Lucifer said.

Michael mimicked a Pompous voice. "Is that any way to treat a prince?"

Lucifer then gave Stanton a smile that he would only give to his family. "No, That's how I treat a friend."

Finx gave her husband a glare before heading towards her home it was going to be a long walk.

Stanton looked surprised, and almost argued, until he saw the smile. He smiled back. "All right then. But seriously, you mean that if she wants to, Gemini can make it so that you won't have any trouble?" He asked, knowing that this was the question on his sister's mind.

Gemini shook her head. "Not without a price. I can't just change things willy nilly, it's a chain reaction. If one little thing changes, then a whole bunch of other things change in response, not all of them good. If I changed Lucifer's fate, I could very well end up causing a black hole or something." She said.

Yuran decided to drop the subject, and followed finx. He was ready to face a enigma back at her village. Moment they learned she was going to have a baby, they'd all were going to die from shock.

"For every action, there is a reaction. If one must get something, they must give something of equal value in exchange. That is the law of the world. "Lucifer said.

When she got back she was greeted by her sister who hugged her tightly "Mommy just told us." "Told you what?" Finx asked though she kind of already knew. "That the storks going to bring you a baby but that you're going to give the baby to mommy and that I have to treat the baby like my sibling." her sister said making Finx blink repeatedly

"Only if it's a boy. "Yuran said, hanging his sword up. "So how are you Annie? You get some new toys yet?" he asked.

"It's Anna not Annie." Anna pouted "But yeah I have a new little dagger that papa has been teaching me to use and momma's been helping me with the priestess stuff."

Yuran reached into a Shadow portal, and pulled out a medium sized doll house, with 3 dolls "Meant to give this to you a month ago, but completely forgot. Had to repaint the house, and everything...."

Stanton frowned. "Oh. Well, that sucks...wait." He turned to look at Lucifer. "May I talk to you privately?" He asked. His tone made it sound rather important.

"Yea sure. "He said, walking with him. "What is it?" he asked, when they were out of ear-shot.

Stanton shifted a bit, looking unsure. "You said that to make something happen, you need a sacrifice of equal or greater value. Would it be equal if...if, to get you off the hook, I went to trial in your place? That way," He added quickly, before there was any objection, "That way, you and Gemini can be happy together, without any interference. You can get married and maybe have kids someday without worrying. Would that work?"

"It would, but I would never ask you. "He said to him, shaking his head. "I cannot sacrifise one life, for another. It is not fair to you, and it's not fair to Gemini......she risked 'everything' just to protect you. If she did that, your pretty damn important, to me and to her. I actually plan to name my first born son after you. "he said, truthfully.

Stanton sighed. "You're not asking me, I'm offering." He said. "I know how much Gemini risked just for me. How much you both suffered because of me. Which is why I owe it to both of you to make this sacrifice. It is the very least I can do, after all you have endured. Besides that, I deserve punishment for what I've done. Isn't there anything I can do to help?" He asked. The idea of having a nephew named after him almost broke him, but just like his sister he was a determined martyr.

"You can live. You can go, and tell everyone out there what happened here. You can make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Once that is done, consider your Penance paid. "Lucifer said to Stanton, clasping his fore-arm.

"But how does that help you? I am asking how I can get you off the hook! Besides, I can't tell anyone what happened here, because Gemini doesn't want anyone to know what she did!" Stanton pulled his arm away and stepped back. "Is it that you want to be taken to trial? You want to be kept away from my sister for God only knows how long?"

Anna beamed happily grabbing the stuff and running off so she could play with it. Finx sighed "Don't bribe my sister." she glared at him.

"huh? The hell yo talking about?"he said, honestly wondering

"Giving her presents so she'll like you." Finx snapped "I don't need my sister to argue against me."

"you really think I'd stoop that low? I am not like all the men you met find, i have a sense of honor"he said

"But how long will it be until you come back? My sister will not be happy until you return, no matter what I do. And if, God forbid, you didn't come back...the girl would die. She would literally die of a broken heart. Is that what you want?"

"If you say so." Finx said walking away with her head held high.

"You think I don't know that risk? I do Stanton. But One life is not exchangeable for another, I could never allow you to do that. IF I did, if this was to allow me to live, you think Gemini would still love me for that? No, She would look at me as a monster, and never want to see me again. Your all she has left, Stanton. "Lucifer said to him.

Yuran went back to the Shrine in the Town, and prayed for his Sister. It had almost been a year now since she'd been killed, but the memory was still fresh into his mind.
