It keeps coming and going, I think. But I'm pretty sure Syn is down for good now. Kinda knew that was going to happen more than a year leading up though. Probably was doomed from the start and we just didn't know it. Actually, I think I joined it expecting it to be dead within six months of starting up. >.>

I didn't know it was going down until I tried to log in one day, and the site was gone. No warning whatsoever

For Syndrone?? There was a sticky announcement for at least a year saying they had no contact with the site's owner and didn't know if they would renew site since it was only bought so they could take the code.

Yeah, it was a huge thing. That was why the site was so dead and had no updates or new items or such for a very long time. They were just keeping it up as long as they could.

Lol yeah. I had work that day so I missed the few hours people had to save things off the site.

I thankfully managed to save the one or two avatars I made before it went down

Lol, thanks. I was out of town and everyone but me and my mom were warm, so the air was down way too cold. I didn't have my usual blanket nest to snuggle my toes under.

My favorite foot-warmers: cats and my mom's butt. Usually I end up sticking my (ice) cold feet under mom's butt instead of a cat because the cat moves X'D

That sounds awkward to me, but a cat is a great foot warmer! But it's also summer now and I'm tired of his extra warm body being right in the middle of the bed. He makes it so I have to touch him no matter where I lay.

Pffft X'D. On the one hand, warm so ick. But on the other, adorable cuddler .

It's...yet another original fic ^^;. It's titled This Is The Apocalypse, and I'm hoping I'll be able to convince my friends to help do voices for it so I can turn it into a podcast.
It's basically a story that takes place post-zombie-apocalypse, and it's focused around a central group of weirdos (and Greg. Goddamn it Greg) getting into shenanigans and generally trying to live their lives without getting eaten by zombies. So...slice-of-life anime meets The Walking Dead? *shrugs*
And cats. Lots of cats.

Oh, and there's multiple types of zombies in this world. Just because I'm an asshole and having one flavor of zombie wasn't bad enough~ ^^

Haha, sounds like a fun story to turn into a podcast. I think if you can get that started, it will turn out really well. I'm always iffy on zombie stories, but I like ones with a good dose of humor in it.

I went on a week long vacation and I think it just made me feel even worse. @_@

I kinda know the feeling though. I've had four days off in a row, but have somehow done nothing with them. I expected to be done with this one shot I'm editing....

I went to the DC area to see the fireworks... when really most of what I did was binge Good Omens in the house I was staying in. It rained most of the time I was there and the rides there and back were awful because airplane turbulence makes me have panic attacks. @_@

I'm trying to work on games and books I haven't touched for a while to give me the illusion of keeping busy, at least until my self-confidence drums up enough for me to job hunt.

Ah. Travel can really be a pain. I don't mind being on an airplane, but it's so stressful to go through the process of airports. Binging tv sounds like a lot more fun.

I hope you can feel like job hunting soon even if you don't rush yourself.
