i followed the link from the submissions thread. and apparantly that wasn't the current page. xD someone on it said something about us having garter belts on here. and i had no idea. i was also thinking those like... wedding ones. that's just like a ribbon.

Libra, I like the way those bridesmaid dresses are developing. Those princess seams are lovely!

Well the wedding ones are called garters. Garter belts are for holding up thigh high tights. I want to reshade our rights, I don't like the whole dither look they have.

Also, added some new stuff! I also rearranged everything, I'm trying to work on making one item for each part of the body.

Libra - hope you don't mind so C&C - for the "warm sweaters" you have on the front page - the way the shading is on the shoulders makes them look almost as though they are hunching up their shoulders..or shrugging. I'm not sure if there is a way to make that look a bit more natural.

The legwarmers are cute with the little ribbon thing. :)

Thank you so much for the C&C! I started working on changing that as soon as I saw your post. I also find part of the sweater is too dark so I'm trying to lighten it up as well. Hopefully soon I will be able to show the updated version.

I also like the version with the flowers better.

Made some changes to it (the bottom shape didn't match up right, fixed that) and made it white cause it was based off of a wedding dress.

Also, I made some changes to my jeans that I was making...





So people commented that they didn't like the swirly style, and I can't quite get it in a manner I like between the swirly and boring, so I posted a version that one of the bottom folds. I was inspired by added in some drama to the piece, so I can't bring myself to make something that makes it slightly more boring >_<

Hm. The shading is a little softer in white, but I kinda like the original color better. :o

I showed your dress to the staff that usually helps me pixel and I got some feedback for you :)

We all really love the potential of the dress. It's beautifully designed!!

There are a few things we all agreed upon. Looking at the outline of the dress where that ruching/bunching is on the viewer's right hand side - it is too flat. It should have some bumps to designate the outline of the bumps in the fabric. Right now it looks at those they just vanish.

With the addition of the flowers, if you chose to keep the flower version, there would be some shading from under the flowers to designate that the light was hitting them. Right now, since they were placed on the original without flowers, there is no shading there and it looks unnatural.

Maria-Minamino:

I made the changes you discussed. I added shadows around all the highlights of the dress behind the flowers. I also added some slight bunching of the fabric to the dresses Lt side.

Another 2 things I added were some changes to the bottom outline of the dress, and making the flowers a little darker and noticeable.

What is your opinion on the changes?

I usually don't tackle dresses, this was the first one that I was like "this actually turned out the way I wanted it too xD"

I understand what you mean Chexala. The flowers make a good reason for the folds to be there, but I know some people would rather have a plain dress, just because it would look better for layering underneath other skirts.

Oh, made something else! I'm working on some arabian-type clothing (been watching a lot of the anime Magi, so this is one top kind of inspired by it's main character Aladdin xD
