Oh wow, immersion is really the best way to learn, or so I'm told. I've never been immersed in the languages I've studied. I would say 12 years is enough to be fluent. X3

And it was a bit annoying, actually. Lol. For the longest time I didn't know our national anthem in english, and of course, neither of my parents speak a lick of french, so now I help my sisters with their assignments. I was raised somewhere where you learn french from kindergarten on... Then my parents split, we moved here in fourth grade, where they were only just starting to teach the fourth graders. :gonk: So everything was inane repeat for a while.

Whale Wars is a show on Animal Planet about Sea Shephards who go out and try to stop whalers in the Antarctic ocean. It's interesting, but sometimes frustrating or sometimes (like tonight) boring because they didn't do anything but go into port.
