Fern went outside wearing an orange mini-skirt and an orange tube top. "Josh?" she said confused. Fern quickly slipped on her orange flats and orange leg warmers and arm warmers. "JOSH!!!" she called and wondered where he was at. "Hmmmm...." he said.

i heard my name called, but i just sandwiched my head between 2 pillows.

"Oh well..." she said and walked over to the park. She sat on a swing and looked around the empty park. "I wonder where everyone is at?" she asked herself.

My stomach suddenly rumbled.. i was having a... amazing dream. i woke up. and got up, and went to the fridge, and there was nothing there! i groaned, grabbed my wallet, and walked out the door to the store.

Fern munched on some crackers and looked around as she swung on the swing. "What shall I do? I am so bored and there really isn't much to do at the moment." she said and frowned.

the store was ahead of the park. i groaned again and decided to go into the park. hoping i wouldnt be noticed on my way.

"Josh! There you are!" she said and smiled. I told you to wait for me...I guess you forgot..." she said and looked at him.

i sighed and looked at you. "Yeah. i guess i forgot." i frowned.

Fern frowned. "What's wrong Josh?" she asked walking over to him.

...I didnt answer.. i just ran to the store as fast as i could.

"Josh!" she called and watched him run off. "Fine..." she said and walked to her house again.

i got into the store.. bought tons of food.. and some flowers. I wonder who they'd be for?
i got sad even more because i cant believe i just ditched her... i started thinking i was horrible. but i had no choice.. things would get awkward.. i would be lying if i said anything was okay.. my only option.. was to run.
I bought all the food and i tied a note around all the flowers. i wrote on a message, and wrote on the back of the note, 'To: Fern.' and i put it near her door step. and ran off to my house, and put my food, in my cabinets.

When Fern reached her house, she saw some flowers and looked around. "Who left these flowers here?" she asked herself as she picked them up. "to Fern...." she read and smiled as she walked inside the house. "Fern what are you holding?" asked her mother. "Someone left me some flowers...I think I'll go to my room and read the note.." she said. Her mother smiled and nodded. "Okay dear, Dinner will be ready soon." replied her mother. Fern nodded and left to her room and began to read the note.

i said: *dearest fern, i'm so sorry i ran away from you, and im sorry i tried to get off the subject when you asked.. its just... Its hard to say to a certain person... that you like them.. alot. i hope, that these.. would .. make it up to you.

i sat on my chair, eating some home made spaggetti.

"Hershal? Who's that?" she asked herself. "I...I don't remember talking to a Hershal before..." she said and smiled at the flowers. "Well, it's still nice to have a secret admirer..." she said and giggled as she smelled the flowers.

i remembered the flowers i bought for fern. i just memorized the note.. and forgot... i put.. THE WRONG NAME ON THE NOTE! i starting panicing. "OH NO! OH NO OH NO!" my head hit the kitchen table. and i just did the stupidest thing. "I put my old born name on the note insted of my new name..." I sighed.

"Hershal...who are you?" she asked the flowers and sighed as she looked out her window. She then put them in a vase with water and smiled as she looked out her window again at the beach.

i grabbed all my courage and i decided to walk to ferns house. it took me a while to convince myself it was me who sent the flowers.

"Oh...you sent me the flowers Josh?" she said and looked confused. "But the name says Hershal..." she said and sat on her bed.

"Well, you see... hershal used to be my old name.. i changed it.. because it sounded too geeky to me." "So i realized i accidentally put the wrong name. and.. well i freaked out abit."

Fern nodded as she listened. "Oh I see...well that's nice to know." she said and looked at the flowers then at him and blushed. "Well thanks for the flowers, they are very beautiful..." she said to him and smiled.

..."Thats why i picked them out. she reminded me of you." i cant believe i just said that..

Fern blushed and smiled. She stood up and hugged him, kissing his cheek gently.

I hug you back, and kiss you back on the cheek. "Again.. im sorry for such the mix up.." I looked at you.

"It's okay Josh, it's the thought that counts..." she said and looked at him blushing.
