I remember Mardi Gras -- back in college, I went to the University of Alabama. The entire campus emptied out! Not being local, I was all :o ???

I have more fascinating stories where I don't go to Mardi Gras, but react to it, but I'll just pass on telling those.

Haha, yeah unfortunately I'm not old enough to go to any bars or anything. Here in Missouri there is usually just bar hopping going around.

I could see the field of Bryant Stadium from my dorm window. You know they put the girls dorm there because bad things would have happened if a guy's dorm had that view.

Haha. XD Yeah - I was shocked when I found out that Omi (site artist) lived only a few hours' drive from me. We went to the same elementary school, even. (My youngest bro might have been in the same class as her, but I haven't been able to verify that...) Anyway. >_>

I love Mardi Gras. It's in my top three favorite holidays. I love the parades where I live. They're family-friendly. And, I just don't like New Orleans. It creeps me out.

@Vonlyn - I'm old enough to go to bars, but I don't go to any. I'm not into all that. I've been to a bar once to attend a local wrestling event.

Yeah, I think really the only time I plan on going to a bar is when I finally turn 21. My mom wants to have a few drinks with me!
