When I first did the squats challenge, I couldn't walk down the stairs the next day. 8D
Now I can go up them more easily without getting out of breath. lol

I've been bad about what I've been eating.
Still, I've been at least restricting to only drinking water. >.< So hard when my parents buy soda all the time.

Well if it makes you feel better, that's all hubby drinks too. You'll get used to drinking water, just hang in there! I HATE tap water though, haha i can't say that enough. Do you have filtered water? Getting water flavoring helps to get you to where you just drink water too.

I've been drinking Kool-aide today because I HATE tap water. It tastes soapy and metaly.. BLECK!

I hate tap water too. We have bottled water because my dad hates the water from the fridge and tap water.
I don't know how people can drink tap water, it's so gross. lol.
I also only drink extremely cold water. I can't stand room temp water.

Although, I still do some amateur dancing to my music, which serves as a mini workout on its own. haha.

I dont like tap water too much either, but i'm still drinking it. I even drink it at room temperature, sometimes I even prefer it, especially if i'm really thirsty. I can't drink cold water too quickly, but I can drink lots of water if it's room temperature.

btw, my trick to drink 1.5 liters of water every day is drinking from a 750mml of bottled water. It's beside me all day long (even if i'm working) so I can always reach for it and drink from it. I drink 2 of these bottles and that's it. Psychologically it seems less than drinking 8 glasses of water every day/trying to finish a huge 1.5 liter water (it's also uncomfortable to drink from a huge bottle).

anyways, update: yesterday I reached a new personal record: 6.8km in 40 mins (: a little more to 7km! I wonder if my treadmill is fast enough in order for me to reach 7.5km in 40 mins....unfortunately, treadmills have a speed limit ): my treadmill's speed limit is 12km/h.

Made a quick calculation, the maximum kilometers I can reach on my treadmill in 40 mins is 7.9km which is great! (:

I have a fairly decent sized cup next to me and a straw! I love straws. Random tidbit there.
I drink more with a straw than without one. Or at least that's what I think, since I'm constantly having to go refill it.

Not really, no. In order to burn calories effectively, you must do cardio - which is running/rope jumping/swimming/bicycle riding etc.

squats/crunches/situps help you toning specific areas in your body. So, if you have excess fat in these areas, you won't see the toning because it's hidden beneath the fat.

That's great! Also, drinking water helps with the digestive system, it also makes your skin look healthier, so even if drinking lots of water doesn't seem like a big deal, it does! It really helps. I can say for myself that when I started to keep sure on drinking 1.5 liters of water each day + eating more veggies and fruits, I must go to the toilet every day (usually in the morning lol).

btw, hot drinks like coffee and tea doesn't count as water because they dry you up. That's why you usually want to pee a few minutes after drinking hot drinks.

My sister, dad and I are gonna start biking soon.
Well not soon, probably after my sister is done with band and art stuff.
So I can't wait.~

I have pretty toned legs as is. I did a lot of dancing in high school, so thankfully my legs didn't get too fat.
It's just my belly that needs to be taken care of. >.>; (I take pride in my legs, it's the only thing I'm actually satisfied when it comes to my body)

i drink alot when i drink from a straw. My other trick is i have this heavy travelers mug that doesn't hold that much. And i go to drink som (it has a lid) because it feels full. than when nothing comes out i've made myself thirsty so i refill it.

I don't have one of those, so I just stick with a cup. >.<
So far it does the trick. I also get exercise from having to get up and walk down and then back up the stairs. lol.
