Halloween Poetry Hangout

Wandering through all the threads I decided that maybe I should settle down in my own little hangout and chat with those who visit.

Since those of you who post are quite kind in posting to keep me company, I will be giving poems out (see post 2 for details).

Fellow poets are welcome to post to give and receive feedback =). (previously posted poems must be quoted)

Come one and all
Don't trip or fall
Watch for vines
Or poisoned wines
The cat in the back
Is blue not black
No bad luck here
So no need to fear
Just talk and chat
And wear a party hat

Rules for obtaining a poem

I will choose based on:

• Have posted at least 10 times.
• Those who follow the rules.
• Those who want a poem (see post 3).
• My personal choice. (Basically those who inspire me and have qualified for the above)
  May add more later

Also, I would request that people not have flashy signatures, as they give me a headache, and others can have seizures from them. (Will result in a request to remove it until after the event, after which will result in a black list).
- Warning can come from other users -

White list: Those who request to be put on this list in order to have a chance to get a poem.
- fuyumi_saito
- Sabiir

Gray list: Those who have not yet requested to receive a poem.
- Everyone not on White/Black list.

Black list: Will not receive a poem due to offending others, full-caps, or other things that can bother people.
- None

I cant decide if I want to join NaNoWriMo or not.
But I should make up my mind soon, since its starting.

NaNoWriMo? Sounds familiar... what is it? Writing contest of some sort?

Mhm, its the Nation novel writing month.
Bascally try to write a story of 50k words in a month.

Hmm... I think I'd fail at that... my "stories" are uber short and to the point normally... >.> and my english teachers hate it... I write too compact...

@ ange - Oh... I do that a lot... =) my avi has like 15 outfits I use constantly trying to make something new...

Ange; Yeah I do that too. I change my outfit so many times in a day..
Kaze; Yeah, it'd be really hard to actually start and finish.

@ Sabiir - Yeah... plus there are so many good writers @_@
@ Ange - lol... I've given up on that... I want an outfit that'll satisfy me with my fan that I can win admin's pick with... :( so far nothing...

Kaze; Thats true, but they dont judge you on how polished your writing is, its really just a challenge to push yourself. xD

Oh... I post occasionally outside events... but I just want to amaze Jelly... >.> for once...

@ Sabiir - Admin's pick is the person Jellysundae picks to be on the front page once a week...
Oh I see... though 50,000 words is a lot o.o

Kaze; It adds to about 4 pages a day, give or take. x.x

wow... 4... pages... o.o I can barely do that in a week...
