~OOC THREAD~

A Fresh Batch Of Fruits Basket

Since the beginning of the Buddhist religion; the Chinese zodiac have seemed to be around for an unknown amount of time. What humans all over have always thought of these zodiacs were simply animal signs for others depending on the year of birth, that was what most people had expected just of the zodiacs and that they were nothing more then that; anymore information about them had been told within the actual religion but many haven't given it too much thought or actually believed it them.

Truth is, every new generation that had passed by the zodiacs have always taken upon themselves to give themselves a human personification to allow them to watch over the balance of the planets. Each zodiac had been given an element that they were to watch over and control at their own will whenever they had wished to. Each new generation that has passed by have realized their power as the zodiacs and their responsibility to make sure that they kept their identity hidden.

That has all changed now with this new generation; the last generation of zodiac had been killed before their time. With the death of the recent zodiacs, the new reincarnation of them have yet to realize who and what they are. Their memories of their past lives as the zodiacs and even now are nothing but blurs; with the lost of their memories the balance is slowly but surely becoming corrupt. All that can be hoped now is that they realize their power and stop the destruction of the planets' balances to go out of control.

Ryosuke is a kind person who is normally seen trying to make friends with others around him. Although there are many times he is seen to be the serious type, he tries his best not to become angered or down about things however, they tend to show themselves every once in while for some reason. Unaware that they are because of his lives of being the Cat and that he had known that he wasn’t part of the zodiac when he truly wanted to be this whole time.

Bio:
Ryosuke had been born into a small village far away from any real urban life; since he had lived mostly out in nature, he was able to learn to be quite active compared to the children who were born into the city life and had all the electronics. This allowed him to grow up and make friends quite easily in the small community that him and his family had lived within. What he had never realized though was that his mother and father that had raised him were not truly his real ones. Being born as a zodiac, these people were the closest thing he could consider an actual family and that was all he needed to know.

He never realized, even to this day that he controls the element over water but as well as that he is the personification of the Cat. It had been a shock to this day that he had yet to turn into the actual animal due to how careful he was raised by both his mother and father not to make too much contact with others around him. This was due to them warning him that he shouldn’t trust others too easily but to still make friends.

As he had grown older though, Ryosuke had grown to become quite curious about the life that others had within the city area. Respecting their son’s wishes; both of his parents had allowed him to travel to the city but making sure not to let him go before allowing him to craft his very own weapon out of a special stone that remains in the center of the village, almost as though for praying and religious reasons. The katana was a souvenir for him to remember his family and village before he had completely left.

By the time he had reached the city, it hadn’t taken too long for Ryosuke to end up getting himself a job as a baker and end up paying for his own apartment soon after. While he had lived within the city, he had continued to send cards and letters to his family back at the village who had sent other messages back to him to let them know they were alright. However, after about a year or so; messages had stop arriving from his family and this worried him dearly. Suddenly though, one day he had ended up getting a message from the village to let him know that his mother and father had been sick for quite a while now; they had told him that they were okay only to keep him from worrying and with time passing and without the proper medication, they had ended up passing away.

After figuring this out, a large symbol had began to burn deeply into his back. This symbol being the curse of being the cat zodiac and everyone knowing all too well that the cat was not part of the original 12 Chinese zodiac members. Due to this symbol appearing up, his anger and sadness had taken over him and caused his power to become released that same day. Destroying nearly everything in his apartment, luckily though; once he was able to let out enough steam, he had calmed down and left his own home to try to go for a walk outside.

That same night, when he had walked down the alleyway near his home to get to the park quicker. Ryosuke had ended up finding a small white stray cat wandering around; finding him there. Ryosuke had took it upon himself to take the cat in and take care of it as his own. After the damage he had done, it had taken quite some time while he had worked at the bakery to gain enough money to pay it back off and get his life back settled down. Luckily enough though, after he had gotten everything settled down; he was able to try and begin his life once more as he kept his family in his thoughts and the symbol on his back hidden from sight. This is also the reason behind why he never takes off his shirt.

After a few months of living his life, he had thought for sure that everything was going to go smoothly for him. Working at the bakery and also going to college at the sametime, he had thought for sure after he had gotten out of college he would be able to return to his village and help them with getting money for more proper medicine; so that no one else that he loved would die. One day though, after coming home a bit late from school; he had decided that he would take a shortcut home through one of the more distrusted areas of the city. While he had made his way back to his home, the last thing he had expected was right when a group of people had began to circle him; demanding him for everything he had. Since he had mostly lived his life outside of the city, Ryosuke wasn’t aware of how dangerous these kinds of people could be; so he had denied them.

Denying them although, had only gotten him hurt as the people had began to beat him up with both weapons such as metal bats, wooden bats, metal pipes, etc. In the end, when the police sirens had went off from hearing the painful screams of Ryosuke being hurt. When the people had scattered away, and the police had taken Ryosuke to the nearest hospital; this was where they had ended up finding out that his arms were completely broken beyond repair. They had no other real choice but to cut his arms off and consider him handicapped, however finding this out; Ryosuke had refused to accept it and pleaded to the doctors to give him some sort of way to continue with his arms. Hearing his plea, the doctors allowed an operation to give Ryosuke a pair of prototype robotic arms through intense surgery as they covered up all the metal with fake skin that would be felt just like ordinary skin on the outside of his arms.

After getting the surgery, it had taken quite some time for him to get used to the whole new strength and power he had now received in his new arms. However, even after controlling the amount of strength he had; he continued to live his life outside of the hospital and back at his home as though nothing had happened. He had remembered the damage he had done when he learned about his own parents’ death. Ryosuke had knew all too well that they wouldn’t want him to get the same way he did before, so he continued to live his life to this day; ignoring everything that has happened up to this day, even if sometimes his sadness does bring him down from time to time. Still to this day, he is unaware of his power and his role in this world.
Other:
He has a symbol on his back that tends to bleed if his emotions get too out of hand. He has a pet cat that he carries around with him on his shoulders, if not he lets the cat follow him by his side; the cat’s name is Calix. Underneath his skin on his arms are robotic arms; the small circle right where his elbow is; is a device that rapidly spins to increase his strength of his arms. As it spins faster though, the entire arms will begin to heat up increasingly fast. If it overheats, both his arms will become utterly useless to him and require him to fix them.

Bio:
Makina Tsuki Sohma was named after her mother Tsuki and her great grandmother on her mother’s side, Makina. Born with snow white hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes, it wasn’t easy to keep some of the kids from picking on her or saying horrible things. She was raised by her mother and father within the city, going to school and having a somewhat normal life. However, the only normal thing about Makina’s life was the fact she went to school, had a small family and had decent grades. Everything was just odd, she wasn’t allowed to do certain things. For one, boys were not allowed to touch her, her father made that a number 1 rule. Makina never understood why but as the type to please her father, Makina did as she was told. They had also given her ways to relax and get rid of any stress that would have in her body like doing karate or something creative.

Makina never understood why this was happening to her, but her parents knew. They knew the truth. Makina was the Rat of the chinese zodiac and one who controlled water, however that isn’t the only secret about the rat. It was said the rat was the one who tricked the cat from being a part of the zodiac, once this trick was discovered, the rat was punished for it. It was given a second form, a form which made it look like a monster. The only way, this form could be hidden was by a strong spiritual necklace passed down through the long line of rats. Once the necklace charm is removed then the other form will be released. However, Makina does not know anything about his.

Years would go by as times changed slowly, Makina was growing into a lovely young woman. She was seeing some of her family on a daily bases and making sure her life was staying the same. It was easy but she somehow made it work, it wasn’t until her father died that she fell isn’t a deep depression. Her father was killed in a car accident, a drunk driver hit him hard, sending him to the hospital but he was dead upon arrival. Makina was really close to her father and his unexpected passing caused her to slack off in school and her karate lessons. She didn’t even want to get out of bed in the morning. Makina was causing large amounts of stress on her body, she couldn’t find proper ways to express her sadness and this would be her potential downfall.

One night, her stress got the better of her. Her body changed into a grotesque monster like rat creature, snarling and growling towards anyone who dared enter the room she slept. Her mother ran in to see her daughter had become the monster she and her husband tried to protect her from. Without a moment’s hesitation, Makina’s mother quickly went to the bedroom to get the choker necklace her husband said to use on emergencies like this. Her mother ran back towards the room to see Makina in the hallway crying from the eyeless black sockets and a loud screeching sound coming from her bony snout. Her mother quickly ran over towards Makina and hugged her tightly, placing the necklace around her neck. It wasn’t until Makina threw her own mother down the hallway that the necklace attached and started turn her back to normal. Makina’s mother held her wound as she watched her unconscious daughter revert to her shape normal then hugged her tightly.

Makina awoke with a horrible headache and the necklace still around her neck. When Makina asked why she had the necklace on, her mother said she was pulling it on last night as a surprise gift from her father. Makina was so happy to receive this gift and she was more than happy to keep it on her at all times. She had returned to doing her usual thing. Going to school, keeping her grades up, doing karate to relief stress and trying to make new friends. Makina has no memory of what happened to her nor does she know about the wound she gave her mother, but she hopes the future will hold more interesting things for her and her mother in the future ahead.
Other:
The choker necklace she wears has been on her father’s side for generations. they have always wore the necklace no matter the gender in order to protect the people around the carrier of the rat. The rate is the only zodiac known for having a cursed form due to what it did to the cat.

Biography:
Marielle was adopted into her family, her mother and father being very loving. They were very kind and caring, making sure she had whatever she needed and giving her all the attention she wanted as a child. Ever since Marielle was little, she had always had great physical strength. She never knew why, and it just about always got her into trouble. Other kids would sometimes get scared or make fun of her. Her parents always had to tell her it wasn’t something to feel bad about, to embrace it. The other thing that worried her parents were the fact that she had horns and a tail. They didn’t understand it, however they did hide it. They’d always make her wear a hat or hood, sometimes even styled her hair so that it’d form buns around the horns and make it so the horns weren’t visible. The tail was easy to cover; the main problem though was keeping both the tail and the horns hidden. However, they managed somehow.

Her mother was worried about her Strength, however the dad saw it as an opportunity to teach her how to be handy. He was an architect, and with a girl with strength like hers, she would be able to do either of those jobs as long as she learned to control her strength. It took a few years, but eventually she learned quite a lot about architecture and building (which helped her become the very handy person she is today).

Because of her strength, she was able to use the sledge hammer with ease. Her father would bring her to work with him whenever he could, letting her help out around the build site. When she wasn’t at her father’s job, she was at home cooking with her mother. It took Marielle a while to learn to cook, but her mother managed to teach her daughter how to cook decent meals. Which helped Marielle prepare for the tragic events that followed years later.

When Marielle was thirteen, everything changed. Her mother became very ill; to the point of where at times, she could not even get out of bed. Marielle would have to cook and clean for her mother, which made her mom feel guilty. Marielle’s father had to work longer hours and make more money just to afford to medical bills for her mother’s treatments. After two years, her mother ended up dying of her illness; cancer. Marielle’s father went into a depression, taking up drinking and turning into a drunk. Marielle’s father was fired from his job, making Marielle have to go out and get a job. At first she was doing odd jobs, then soon landed a job in a cafe.

Things seemed to be getting better, however things soon went downhill. Her father was out late one night, drinking as usual. He drove home drunk and ended up causing an accident. What didn’t help was that he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. He flew through the windshield on impact and died from breaking his neck; he didn’t even stand a chance. Marielle was in her sophomore year of highschool at this time. She was just like she was when her mother died; depressed and mournful. However, she refused to let her father’s death beat her down. She didn’t want to become like her father, so mournstruck that he fell apart and became a former shell of himself.

Marielle always put a smile on her face, continuing to work hard and try to live a decent life. She continued to live her her family’s house, barely managing to keep things payed off and herself alive. She still doesn’t realize the power she holds and what she is.
Other:
Marielle is extremely freckly, being covered with the damn things.

He the type of person that many people like, but also many people hate because of his happy-go-lucky attitude. He never becomes attached to someone though (unless he’s known them for a long time). This doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like being around people though. In fact he loves it. Shouhei loves being around others, and he easily gets along with them. While he enjoys listening to others speak about themselves, Shouhei himself rarely talks about his life. He tends to not be very trusting in people. Shouhei’s timidness comes out when dealing with aggressive people. He can’t deal with them well at all, and tends to get really timid, shaky, and sometimes scared around them.
Finally, Shouhei can also be quite cunning. He can usually get people to do things that he doesn’t want to (even get people to take him somewhere, etc). He does it in indirect ways though, so people almost never realize.

Bio:
Shouhei grew up with his father only. His mother had apparently left one year, but Shouhei had no memory of her. Because of this, Shouhei would always ask his father about his mother. Why did she leave? Why couldn’t he remember her? Did she not love him? His father would constantly tell him that it didn’t matter, because she was gone, and there was nothing they could do. When he was about seven, Shouhei finally gave up on asking. Other than that, Shou’s life was pretty normal. He found out a couple of his hobbies at a young age, he went to school and did fairly well, he had plenty of friends—though no “best friends”—and he spent time with his father a lot.

When Shouhei was ten, his grandfather had a bad heart attack and ended up passing away. Shouhei hadn’t been all too close to his grandfather, but for some reason his grandfather had favoured Shouhei a bit more than his other grandchildren, and had left his blade to Shouhei. Now, Shouhei treasures that blade, and has it safely placed in his room.

Around the time that Shouhei stopped asking about his mother was when he found a couple of his hobbies: drawing and singing. He seemed to have a natural talent for both. After a couple of years, Shouhei had become amazing at drawing and singing, and decided that he’d focus more on his art rather than his music. For a while, he continued drawing all the time, almost never having time to do other thing.

When Shouhei was fifteen, his father decided to go off around the world, travelling. That was when Shouhei stopped drawing as much as he used to. He hated being alone in the house, so he would often find himself going out whenever he could just so that he’d be able to be around people. He still does art, but he does it for himself, and not for others. While he lets people ask him for things sometimes, it’s very rare.

Now, at age seventeen, Shouhei’s father is still out and about travelling, but sends letters weekly, and cash every second week. Shou himself is constantly out with friends, and does his best to never let himself be alone.
Other:
Shouhei’s father knows about him being a zodiac, but hasn’t told him.
Shouhei has an obsession with clothes, and whenever people need help with outfits, they turn to him.

Name: Aki Sohma
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Zodiac/Animal Personification: Ox
Weapon(s): He only carries around a pocketknife. Aki feels that it’s useless to even own any sort of weapon, especially because he can fight, and win, without one.
Personality: Aki is stubborn and strong headed. He isn’t one to “lose” at something. He excels in everything he does, and takes pride in that. He can tend to be too cocky, saying that he’ll never lose at anything—which, to this point, remains true. He is very analytical, and usually thinks a lot before doing something, making sure that it is the right decision. While Aki is over confident, he also is kind towards others, often helping them gain their own confidence, or telling them how to do things correctly. He also recognizes others’ abilities, if they have them. If a person is strong enough then they gain his respect and he tends to treat them differently—more special—than others. While Aki is usually calm and composed, certain things cause him to become very angry, to the point where he scares people. He can’t stand it when someone belittles him, or thinks lowly of him. He hates to lose against someone. If someone suggests that he isn’t good at something, or can’t do something, he feels the need to prove them wrong. Finally, if he catches someone pushing around people that he cares about (he is protective of those close to him).

Bio:
Aki’s mom, who was a Sohma, died while giving birth to him prematurely. She had ended up getting sick while being pregnant, and wasn’t able to live through it. His father, who knew the Sohma secret but refused to ever speak of it, broke off all ties with the Sohmas, hoping that his son wouldn’t become part of their mess. His father came from a rich family, one who owned various businesses, and many buildings. Thus, Aki was raised to become a leader. His father would not allow failure, and he was always expected to come out on the top.
“You need to excel in everything Aki,” his father would say, “Sports, school, friends. Life itself.”
Aki grew up living by those words, and every time he failed at something, or came out as anything under the best, he would sit through whatever punishment his father saw fit. By the time Aki was six, he was on his streak of always being the best; the best in school, the best in whatever sport he did, the leader of all his friends. He simply excelled in everything.
Through his high school life, Aki wasn’t particularly close with anyone other than his teammates. His teammates, who played basketball with him in school, as well as in a league, looked up to him as a leader as well. At points, he got too close to them, and his father would tell him to distance himself a bit, saying that it was bad to be too close to those who were under him. He took care of his teammates though, always nagging them, and felt saddened when he had to leave them.
He went to university for only a year, before dropping out on his father’s request. Now Aki is helping his father with whatever he can, as well as learning how to run a business.
As for contact with females, Aki never had much trouble with that. His father would tell him to never get close to people who were under him, and the only ones Aki has ever really respected to the point where he believes they are almost, if not as strong as he is, are his teammates. Who, per obvious, are all male.
Other:
Now Aki has a lot of freetime on his hands, so he spends a lot of it going from town to town, discovering new stores and such.
He still plays basketball, and sometimes meets up with his old teammates. It’s only on the street though.
His hair is naturally a pale blonde, almost white, but Aki has dyed it to the colour in the picture.

Bio: Shin had a pretty okay life, there was more ups than downs. Shin was the only child born to his mom Mio and his dad Haru. His mother was a musician while his father had a job that caused him to travel alot. So he didn't really know too much about his dad, but they were as close as a traveling father and a stationary son could get. Shin learned how to cook and clean from his, which would probably explain why he loves sweets, except for chocolate. It always gave him a terrible stomach ache and a pulsing headache. So he never eats chocolate unless it's on accident or by mistake.

He had a odd childhood, he would have plenty of friends but at the same time he really had none. It was strange, maybe that's why he always feels lonely and feels the need to expand his "friends" and stick around them for a long time. His school years pre college were average, he didn't get into too trouble, and he had average scores except in math he kinda struggle in those types of classes.

He graduated high school at 17 but he did not enroll into college. He wanted to roam free and see what was out there first. He moved out when he was 18 to nice sized condo. It was abit hard at first, but once he got a job at a bakery and stopped using the money his parents were lending him. And never stays for too long in his condo though, which makes people wonder if anyone actually lives there at all. Shin is always out and about, he never wants to go home until he's tired and ready to sleep. This is because he doesn't want to be alone, and it's very lonely up there.
Other: The dog in the picture is him.

Personality: To sum her up, trickster. Yumie isn't very serious, and it's impossible to remain angry with her for very long. She sneaky and cunning, and can be a bit of a blabbermouth. Whenever going on an endeavor, she'll find a large group of unwilling victims to drag along. Occasionally, when threatened or angry, she can have a dark side that isn't seen often. She has a bad habit of randomly hugging people.
Likes: Hugs, funny people, cake.
Dislikes: People without a sense of humor, hypocrites, confined spaces.
Bio: Yumie's never had much of a problem with hugging men. When she was a child, her father would work for five days of the week, and when he would comehome on weekends, he was too busy to spend time with her. As she grew up, nothing changed and she learned that they didn't know each other at all, and he didn't notice. She grew a strong relationship with her mom after that. Since she never had a relationship with her dad, she doesn't trust men very much. She thinks that all boys will ignore her feelings, since it was all she knows.
In school, she is a straight A student. Shockingly, she is very friendly and has a group of girls that she hangs out with on weekends. Normally, when she gets bored, she will prank people. Occasionally it will be someone random, but most of the time it's her friends. It's all fun though, and she never has hurt anyone; it's normally just her putting whoopie cushions under their seats, or a fake snake here or there.
Nothing has ever really set Yumie off as to her being a zodiac.

She was often told that she had been left as a baby with full identification, but no family had ever tried to find her, nor could any be contacted. Perhaps this started her deep rooted insecurities, the thought that even identified no one wanted her.

The Orphanage was a nice enough home, although the other girls aways left Nami alone, never inviting her to play, they always complained that she was too strong, to weird. This lead to awkward growing pains, through the years and sometimes depressing thoughts, but Nami always tried to strive for a better life, a family.

Never adopted at 18 the orphanage sent Nami on her way out into the world with a little money to get her started. She landed a job at a local cafe which gave her a start. With her first paycheck in hand she decided to give herself a change, no longer accepting the meek and non-descript appearance she had, she got her hair styled, bought make up and an outrageous wardrobe. She would still be appropriate for work, but she was going to be someone exciting.

∆ Just a little note to everyone that has no idea where we are starting this roleplay. I was thinking of starting it anywhere you would want in Japan. Only reason im going with this is to be a little...original and go with how Fruits Basket had done to start there. o.o You guys can be just arriving to the country or already living there if you want. As the roleplay progresses; we might have them move to another country whenever o3o'

With the time just nearly striking 12:00 P.M, Ryosuke had been standing behind the large glass counter as he had been wiping down the inside glass of the display of all the different pastries and sweets that was shown within the actual counter itself. Business seemed to had been extremely slow today, normally since the time the bakery had opened in the morning; which was around 7:30 in the morning, this place would've already had a minimum of 15 to 20 customers. This was due to the fact that within the small town he had lived within, this bakery was probably the only one that was actually edible. There was a cafe around here somewhere and their food was just as amazing but the people that had arrived at this bakery daily were almost like regular customers to the owner and Ryosuke now. At times, he had even mistakenly considered the customers as family to him.

While he had continued to clean up the counter, the sound of the bell at the top by the front door had went off with several 'ding' like noises. A customer! Quickly he was right about to lift his head up to greet whoever had just walked through the doorway, only to end up hitting his head at the top edge of the glass counter. "Ow! Ow, ow, ow.." He had continuously repeated the same word over and over again as he moved both of his hands over his head, unaware that his cat-like ears had popped out for only a moment from the intense pain of how hard he had hit his head.

The sound of laughter could be heard from a family of three as Ryosuke had been sitting on the floor, rubbing at his head the whole time. Hearing the laughter though, both of his ears had quickly vanished before he could even make notice of them. Taking in the pain, he had stood up to his feet and gave the family of one mother and two small boys a large smile. "Hello! Welcome to The Baker's Dozen. Can I help you?" He had asked the family as he watched how the twin boys had started arguing lightly with each other about what they wanted from the counter. Once the mother had shushed them both and ordered the donuts as well as a large cake. Ryosuke had nodded his head before he made his way to kneel back down and to pull out several donuts into a large white box and taking the large cake she had pointed to into a box just as big.

Once he had the two boxes done, he had handed them to the woman as well as getting the money for the pastries, he had returned her change and watched as how the family left the bakery. Giving off a sigh of satisfaction that he had made a family happy even though he had lost his own, he kept a warm smile on his lips even though he had began to remember his mother and father's death. Shaking his head to try and keep himself from becoming saddened about their deaths, he simply made his way out from behind to counter to go and wipe off the tables around the bakery.

The glass walls of the shower were steamed and the mirror fogged. You could hear the spray of water from the shower head ceasing, followed by a shower door sliding open. The mirror could only reflect a very foggy silhouette of the figure that came closer. Soon though it reflected a young man's face, it couldn't reflect much else as the circle he wiped into it wasn't big enough.

Shin shook his head, causing droplets of water to fly through the air, and some of them even splattered the mirror. He ran his hands through his still wet hair, as he stared at himself in the mirror. After a moment he walked away but jumped right back infront of the mirror only to make faces at himself then sigh. I can't believe I overslept...oh well.. Shin's shoulder and a slight slump to it as he wrapped a soft white towel around his waist. He left the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth. He was brushing his teeth while looking for clothes to wear today. He settled with a plan white dress shirt, dark gray jeans, and black converse shoes. Once he had all articles of clothing he wanted to wear he went back into the bathroom, putting up the towel, putting on some deodorant. Which was followed by him spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing out his mouth and his toothbrush before putting it away. He quickly slipped on his clothes and looked once more in the mirror for a moment before running back into his room grabbing his keys and dashing out the door.

Shin locked up his condo before hopping onto his motorcycle. He slipped on his helmet, before starting it up, releasing the break and taking off towards his job at the local cafe. It was next to some bakery. They had some good pastries too, but he preferred the scenery of the cafe, it was more.. populated for his taste. He parked in the back, and went inside through the back door. "I know I know, I'm late.. but I'm here now! But I shall be right back." He spoke alittle too loudly but that was alright, wasn't it?

"Hey, Shin! You just got here where you going?"
The working manager spoke up as she moved out of the way when he came walking past.

"I'm off to go across the street! I'll be back." He turned his back to her and smiled. Shin looked back infront of him to expertly dodge one of his coworkers who were working up front. "Whoops." He let out a quiet apology and walked out of the cafe. Placing a hand on his brow to block out the sun as he looked across the street to see a small family leaving with a box. A smile spread across his face as he carefully crossed the street. He peeked inside the window to see a pink hair man cleaning tables. He looked around, and didn't see anyone else. No customers? Kind of slow this morning? he wondered as he opened the door and stepped inside. "Hey you~" He said in a sing song type of voice. He didn't know the guy but, Shin did visit the bakery frequently for their donuts. They were just so delicious.

Morning...Not one of his favorite times, especially having blacked out the night before. With a sigh, the man turned over in his bed. For a moment he only laid there, running through the night in his mind. He had been going to visit a friend of his, who worked as a waitress at a cafe. Unfortunatly, there had been a few guests who had come in and began harassing her. IT typically took a lot to get him annoyed, but the one thing that never seemed to fail was someone attempting to harm someone he cared for. The last thing he remembered, was the man raising a hand to the woman. Now he was here...Home and in bed within his little appartment.

A sigh escaped from his lips, as he pushed away the covers. He made his way to the bathroom, taking a hot shower before moving to go to the kitchen. He dried his hair, as he hit the button on the answer machine to hear the messages left for him from yesterday. A few were from the main house, trying to order him to return, or to see their doctor. Apparently news traveled fast, then again, he was used to the home keeping tabs on him. It was not uncommon for them to have someone follow him or watch him. He did not even want to really know why. Shaking his head, he tossed the towel he was using on his hair onto the back of a chair.

The next message made him pause however. It was from the friend, asking him if he was alright, and that she wanted to talk about last night. He clenched the back of the chair before him slightly. He did not know if he could face her right now. He tried to keep his blackouts a secret, people did not need another reason to fear him. Robin had always been...odd. His strength even from a young age had frightened most people. He could do things others twice his size and age couldn't. His senses as well seemed to be well developed, and his reflexes were incredible. The main house had refered to him as a prodigy, even though they treated him more like a prisoner.

They were always speaking in riddles and whispers, especially around him. They were hiding a lot from him, and it annoyed him. A light snap came from near him, and he glanced down to see the wood on the back of the chair begining to crack and splinter a bit from his hand. He sighed slightly, releasing the chair as he stepped away. He had lost his appetite, so he skipped breckfast. Instead, he got dressed in black pants and a simple white shirt. He had a job himself as a waitor, and it was not to bad. He kept himself in control, as much as he could. Grabbing a black vest and tie, he locked the door behind him as he left for work.

Lacy smiled as she sat in the meadow outside of her cottage. She picked flowers and tied them together into a crown and placed them on the Komodo Dragon close to her. She smiled as the komodo nudged her hand and licked it. She nudged it's head with her own and stood up in the meadow and walked back to her cottage, the overgrown lizard following behind her. She went inside and closed the door behind the dragon. She went to her fridge and got out two slaps of meat. She put one on the rack over some coals and gave the other to the Komodo who devoured it. After she let the meat cook for a bit, she got it off the rack and began eating.

Shouhei raised his head sleepily from his pillow, curling up in his warm blankets. Getting up was the last thing he wanted to at the moment. The thought of having to get out of his blankets, and into the cold air of the day terrified him. He was completely content with just staying in his bed all day, and doing nothing except for sleeping. Unfortunately, Shou knew that that wasn't possible. He had already slept in because of the day off of school, and he didn't feel like being any more lazy. Well he did, but he knew that he shouldn't. After all, it was like this every morning; not wanting to get up, and just wanting to sleep. Rolling out of his bed, Shouhei made his way towards the washroom so that he could get washed.

After a rather long, warm shower, Shouhei grabbed a pair of burgundy pants, a grey t-shirt and a burgundy fedora. While he wasn't a "fashionista" per se, Shou did like to make sure his outfits matched. He couldn't stand it when someone wore an outfit that looked like a wreck, and would never let himself do that. He grabbed a fedora, placing it on top of his head rather carefully, before leaving his room, and out the front door.

He didn't have a specific destination in mind, but he didn't enjoy sitting in his house alone. Being lonely just wasn't something Shouhei liked. Of course, not many people liked it, but he thought of any time spent alone was lonely. He was a people person, and easily liked at that. Flipping out his cell phone, he typed a quick message to one of his friends, declaring that they were to meet in front of a clothing store. Within seconds he got a reply, agreeing. The store was near a bakery, another clothing store, and a cafe. All four seemed to be rather popular shops in the town, and Shouhei often referred to it as the "main street", because of that.

He walked the fifteen minutes to the clothing store, and began to wait patiently outside. He peered over to the bakery for a second, before turned away to keep watch for his friend. He had never been in there before. Mainly because they were rather famous for their sweets--like doughnuts and cookies and such--which didn't really interest Shou.

~.~.~.~.~

Aki sat on his couch, watching the recording of the basketball game that he had missed from the night before. Usually, he made it a definite to watch all games, but he had been too tired to finish watching the game. As the buzzer went off, and a magnificent buzzer-beater was scored, Aki stood up, switching off the TV and stretching his arms. His eyes wandered to the clock on the wall, and he sighed internally. He always had too much time on his hands now. Surprisingly, he missed being able to go to school. But he wasn't able to disobey his father; so here he was, always with too much free time on his hands. He wasn't even allowed to get a job, because he never knew when his father would call him in.

Not that he really minded though. He just hated being bored. Running a hand through his hair, Aki looked around the room, before deciding that he was going to go stop by the bakery. He felt like having something sweet, despite the fact that he had eaten lunch barely an hour ago. Grabbing his book and his keys, Aki made his way out the door and to his car. Unfortunately, because his father had a liking of being secluded, Aki didn't live near anything. This resulted in him having to drive almost everywhere. After a couple of short minutes, he found himself driving down the street of the bakery. He stopped his car across the street from it, and a few doors down, before walking towards it. As he entered, Aki stood at the side, staring at the different sorts of sweets and pastries in the store. What would he get?

Nami groaned as her alarm woke her. The constant buzzing got on her nerves easily and quickly, that she picked up the clock and tossed it across the room, through the open window. "....I need to buy another clock after work...." Pushing her hair out of her face, Nami crawled out of bed, grabbed a towel for a hot shower.

Half an hour later, the condensation was wiped from the mirror. "Okay bright eyes, pep talk time. You can handle your customers, you can handle your coworkers...Shin won't be a problem. You will be happier and you will take advantage of the day." She gave her reflection a smile.

Nami tossed on her clean uniform for the Cafe . It was just a white button up shirt and dark skirt, but she paired it with bright pink high heels and swept her hair up into a messy bun, tendrils of hair curling out of it and around her face. A little eyeliner, mascara, and a rich red lipstick and she was ready for her shift. Locking her apartment door behind her, she huried down the 3 flights of stairs and into the parking lot. The warm sun did wonders for her mood, making her believe that she can take on everyone.

Nami entered the cafe right on time for her shift, and just in time to watch Shin race out the door. "Wasn't he supposed to start already?" She asked the manager as she clocked in. Taking a tray and notepad, Nami took a brave deep breath and started with Shin's tables making sure the customers didn't suffer from his selfishness.

[I'm sorry for the crappy and short post. ;w;]

Marielle let out a soft sigh as she stepped out of the cafe, the bell over the door ringing as the door closed behind her. Marielle was wearing the uniform given to her by the cafe; a black and white lolita dress that went down to her knees, a pair of black kitten heel shoes, a pair of white sheer stockings, and a lacy head band (her horns covered by her hair; she had her hair wrapped around the horns to make them look like buns). Her uniform wasn't the usual outfit, which was because she worked at a maid cafe. Marielle used her hands to smooth out the apron over her skirt before she fluffed her skirt a little. She continued walking down the side walk, making her way to the bakery for a late breakfast.

Making his way from table to table with a white rag in one hand and a spray bottle in the other. Ryosuke had made sure to spray each of the glass tables as he had passed them and wiped them off clean with the rag in his hand, every once in a while he would raise his head up to take a glance out the twin large windows that displayed the outside world from within the bakery. Around this time, many people seemed to have been finally wandering around the town. Some seemed to had either been going on their lunch breaks if not they were trying to head straight to their jobs and even some just heading home from work. Earlier, all that was really seen was many children wandering around with their friends and every once in a while an adult was just taking a stroll through the town to do whatever they had wished.

This didn't bother him too much, even if the rest of the day was going to be as slow as this. Ryosuke still had plenty of money with him to take care of the ownership of taking care of the entire bakery on his own. No matter what it had took, he would make sure that he would be able to keep the old bakery up and running. The original owner, thinking that the place was going to go out of business had began to fire employees left and right just so that he wouldn't have to pay them and thought that it would help him keep the old place running smoothly. What he didn't realize that even with that, it didn't seem to give away the fact that the bakery was still going downhill rather quickly. Right before he could fire Ryosuke though; the pink haired male was able to convince the owner to let Ryosuke take ownership of the place by paying the man a large sum of money that Ryosuke had saved up from his days while working there.

Thinking back onto that day that he had gotten ownership of the place. He gave a warm smile before nodding and hearing the chiming noise of the front entrance to the bakery ringing. Turning his head quickly over his shoulders to see who it was that had entered; he had thought for a fact that it would be another family or just a random customer coming in to place another order just as the family of three that had just left with their order not too long ago. No, right as he had taken his gaze upon whoever had entered the bakery; it was none other then one of the workers that was employed at the cafe right across the street. This male though was no ordinary worker; Ryosuke had recognized him as one that tended to arrive over at the bakery every once in a while and ordered some donuts from the place. "Hey there! Coming over for some donuts? I just got a fresh batch from the oven." He informed him before turning his entire body to face the male. His tone of voice soft and cheerful just as when he had spoken with the family of three earlier when they had just arrived into the building. This was a way he tended to invite people into the bakery just to show them a bit of a warm welcome so that they wouldn't feel so shy to wonder if they would want anything certain but would be too afraid to speak up.

It wasn't long after that the sound of the door chiming once more had been heard. Was business starting up again for the day that he was getting customers arriving like this. This time, as he had turned his gaze over towards the entrance it was another male; one with quite an interesting hair color to him. It seemed to had been a greyish white at the top as it reached down to the bangs of his hair to reveal a more hint of blue. Watching as how the male had stepped into the bakery and made his way to the side while he stared at the different types of pastries and sweets that were lined up within different parts of the room. Ryosuke had given a warm smile before waving over towards the male in a friendly manner. "Hello sir. If you need any assistance at all, please let me know." After informing the new male that had stepped into the room, Ryosuke brought his attention right back onto the cafe worker while he awaited the answer as to whether or not he wished for the fresh donuts.

Yumie Sohma groaned as her mother's voice called for her to come to breakfast. After pleading for ten minutes to get "Just five more," she pulled herself from the comforts of her bed and got ready for the day. After ten minutes, she emerged from the mess she calls her room, and went to the kitchen. The back of her uniform scratched her neck. She adjusted it make it a little less irritating and grabbed a piece of toast that her mother made.

"Eating on the go again, Yumie? You know I don't like it when yo-" her mother scolded before she interrupted. "Can't talk now, I have a test today." She gave her mom a quick hug before leaving the family house.

((Sorry it's short, I'm a little busy.))

Nami has a pulsing vein in her forehead. Where was Shin? The girl was tired of balancing her attention between her own crowded tables and Shins. Balancing trays of coffees, sandwiches, and dainties from table to table, mentally keeping tally of which table had ordered what.

She glanced out the window and saw Shin still at the bakery and something inside her growled. Shaking her head she continued her rounds, just managing to avoid spilling coffee on a man in a business suit. "Oops, excuse me sir." Nami flashed her bright smile and side stepped back to the counter. That was weird. She wondered why she had an inner growl. She generally didn't let people effect her, especially since she tried her very best to avoid personalities like Shins. And then to almost spill coffee on a customer because he almost brushed her hand.

Nami took a couple deep breaths and regained her outer composure. She knew inside she'd be freaking out for a while still.
