Gift bags. My mom and I have sewn up a bunch of fabric drawstring gift bags and we just reuse those every year.

Definitely sounds like gift bags or boxes are your best option. XD

You can set it on a huge square and wrap it like a gift basket or peice of candy, and use ribbon to tie it, then trim the ends to look neat.

Lol, I haven't run into that problem yet, but I'd probably do it like the candy, but with only one opening, at the top.
Sort of like a fountain.

How does one go about wrapping a dog?

I can't get it to stop squirming!

Somehow I managed to wrap a round object once. Kinda hard though. Sadly, I didn't think about putting it in a box at the time. Or gift bagging it. ;w;

I had a pyramid shaped toy with no actual box to support the paper. I ended up pinching the 4 sides together and pinwheeling the paper around, it was for a baby. so it is not like he cared.

Boxes, bags, or the wrapped candy idea like the picture seems the only ways :p

Box. I get a Box. Box is awesome and the box can contain the ball for long time in the future!

Yeah that's how one would usually wrap em. Just twist near the top and tie with a bow.

I know it's a little late for this... But how I wrap round presents is I gather the wrapping paper at the top and put a ribbon around it.

Y'know - sort of like a gift basket wrapping.

I just buy alot of gift bags and stuff them with presents, but if the item is too big and i have to wrap it, it ends up very very odd looking like a wad of crumpled paper or a patchwork present xD

I didn't have any round presents to wrap this year, but if I did I think I would just keep wrapping it round and round until it covered it completely. :P

Either a box or bag.
Although if I feel like taking the time i'll set it on the paper and bunch the paper up around it, and finish it by tying a ribbon around it. xD

Use boxes. ^^ We always have some around. My grandma shops from QVC, we get boxes from stores, and BJ's always has a crate for them.

Sometimes we might use a bag though.

I'd either try to wrap it like that or give up in advanced and put it in a bag or box. xDD

I wrap circle gifts like candy too. Really anything oval or cylinder shaped. I add ribbon on the ends too. Then I tie the name tag to one end.

I first try wrapping them ridiculously with lots of tape. If I can't get it at all, I put it in a bag with tissue paper. XD I really suck at wrapping presents...

I either put it in a box or wrap it the way it is. I haven't wrapped anything round in a while.

Oh yeah my favorite way to wrap really weird presents is the party popper method, at least that's what I call the picture you have there.

I dunno, something about making it look like candy with ribbons too, it's just too fun!!

That's an adorable way to wrap round gifts. I generally tend to wrap it similar to that way, except with a single opening on top, then tie it with a ribbon and card. :D
