I know that my family usually gets a blue spruce Christmas tree every year to put up in our house. But this year we decided to try a white pine and it turned out pretty well. And I also know that a lot of people have fake Christmas trees. So I was wondering... what kind of tree did you have this year?

We have a fake assmbly-required one. I don't know what kind of tree it's supposed to be, though..

Yep! My dad took off all the ornaments and the lights and got everything back on the shelf today!

We also have a fake one, I haven't had a real tree in years.

we had a fake white christmas tree up this year, but next year we are gonna go nback to getting a real tree. I much like having a real tree better.

Mine isn't shedding a lot of needles but it'll be down probably by next week. I just like the smell and the fuin of picking a new one out every year. And we used to replant our tree when I was little. The one we had on my first Christmas is right outside my bedroom window. It has to be at least three stories high by now!

At my parents house they had a blue spruce, i dont think my mother will ever do fake trees lol she loves the smell of them too much.

I had a small little fake one at my apartment with tiny ornaments, i thought it was cute, i even picked up a couple of those blinking light necklaces to use as lights on it heh

Ours was fake as well. I don't think I've ever had a real tree.. O_o

The tree farm we get our tree from every year has about seven or eight different varieties of Christmas trees. It's kind of funny we look at the sample trees for a long time but always get the same kind of tree. One year we got a douglas fir... it was nice and green but smelled like a combo of cat pee and orange... not good. The white pine we have this year is nice but it's a little wimpy for all the heavy home made ones. So next year we're going back to blue spruce.

I had a fake miniature tree... it's basically just the topper of a regular sized artificial tree.

I don't think my family has ever used a real tree, my mom said that it would make too much of a mess so we got a fake one instead :D

My family always sets up the fake tree we have, cause I'm allergic to most pine trees. ;-;

Plastic. I think it's supposed to be a fir tree of some sort. It's the same one we've been using the last 4 years or so.

We had a chubby tree this year! I think it was a balsam. We had to do a bit of trimming on the bottom and top to make it look all perfect and stuff, but it turned out mighty fine. ^_^

Other years we've had other pines, and usually we have our falsies up - we've had the ones where you put in each branch individually, but we're done with that and now we have fibre optic trees that light up themselves! Saves lots of hassle for sure! :lol:

It was a fake piece of crap at my mom's house.
My boyfriend's family had a real tree and it was really neat and fat,
but I have no idea what variety it was.

My family had an over-decorated plastic tree, the same one we use every year. At least it looks somewhat real.

We have a real one. I believe its a Douglass Fur, don't get pine b/c my sister is allegeric to pine

We use an artificial tree, I think it is supposed to be a spruce... It's 6 feet tall and is very wide. We usually only use the top half though and place it in a pedestal table.

I love the smell of a real tree but we had a fake one this year. I have a dog that's going through doggy teens so we put a fake tree up on his crate so he couldn't get to it. Thank goodness for tall ceilings. Three foot tall crate, four foot tall tree plus angel and we still had a good four to five feet before we would hit the ceiling.

Mine was an artificial tree that I bought at half price last year at lowes.

Mine is fiber optic one it is really pretty with rainbow colors all over it.
