The Mysterious Place of Sebastian Strutton
It was a night and it was cold enough to freeze every little pond and puddle.Not very far from the post office there was a house covered in green moss and inside the house was a mother telling the story to her children."You see my children, the story I am about to tell you is not the story you could find in The book Beedle the Bard" she said glancing towards her children ."I have heard many tales about a lost story. Many years ago former residence of Beedle was ransacked but only thing that was found was a story, a lost story named The mysterious place of Sebastian Strutton"
Muggle children have heard ghost stories about house deep within the forest near their village.One day four of them decided to visit that house. At the end of the road within the forest a small house was standing. It was covered with moss and its color faded in time. Under all that moss you could see it was nice rich red color.Strange thing about it was that it had no edges.It was round with few dark brown windows which made difficult for anyone to see the inside. Around the house was thick fence tangled with many bushes that grew over the years.One particular sign was there, as a warning to all those who come near the house.
"No Trespassing or that will be the last thing you will do"
It was written in red color.These four kids read the sign and just laughed at it.But little did they know that inside the house was living a wizard named Sebastian Strutton and that the words he wrote were true.
They hid behind the bushes and waited for the old man to get out.The kids decided to wait until the resident of that house would leave for a while and once inside, to grab something as a proof of their deeds.It was getting dark and the old man was still inside the house.They wanted to give up when the door opened and a man got out wearing long black coat that prevented the kids from seeing his face. As soon as he was far enough they sneaked inside the garden.Then they used some sharp tool to pick the lock.The clicking sound coming from the locker let them know that they have succeeded.Once they opened the door what they saw inside left them speechless.This was not the same house they saw outside.The house inside was large enough to have a small forest inside and to the left of the forest was set of large staircases that led to upper floor. The Floor was covered with thick grass like carpet.They were amazed and mesmerized by sheer size.It could easily fit three large houses. Still under the shock of what was before their eyes, the kids did not noticed the door closing but they heard the locker closing however it was too late.
They turned their head right of the stairs to see large pond surrounded by glass fence.They wondered why would anyone do this but once they got close they saw their answer.Pond was full of strange looking creatures.They backed away when one of the creature jumped towards them.They have completely forgotten what they came for as they continued exploring the castle.
"Do you think we should stay here?"-said one of the youngest muggles. "This is creepy and I do not like it. Let's just leave, please."
"No way." said the oldest one. "This place holds secrets and maybe we will find a treasure room full of gold and jewels. We should go up the stairs and check to rooms."
Both have agreed and the only thing youngest one could do was to stay close to them.They were climbing up the stairs when they youngest saw pair of azure blue eyes gazing from the forest.He did not scream he just stick even more close to the others.They went to the end of the corridor to check that room first and moved towards the stairs as they checked each room.Though oldest one acted all brave you could notice his fear when his hand shook as it was reaching to open the door.Once he opened the door room was twice as big as lobby.It's walls were covered with books of all kinds.Room was circular.In the middle of the room,a large round table rested along with a couple of stone chairs.
They did not linger in this room because, like most teenager, they did not like to read books.They left the room and went to open the next.The other three rooms were orchards full of trees that were lined up.Last room in the line had small green doors with large red x drawn on it.They did not hesitate to open the room.But as the oldest touched the door knob he was sucked into the room and was seen or heard no more.Other tried running down the stairs but they noticed there were not stairs that led down.Only thing they could do is go up.They prayed to find some way out.Now they were afraid.They were huddles close as they were climbing.They senses were ready and alert at any sound they might hear.Trip was not long and they have reached another long corridor.They opened each and every room and when they came to the end of the corridor they did not dare to open the doors.But second oldest reached to open the door in hope that those door would lead to safety.But he was so wrong because he too got sucked into a place that looked like a game room full of eerie looking clowns.
Last too boys ran in panic.They did not want to go up the stairs to check more room.But they had no choice because as they heard howl from bellow they ran like someone was chasing them.They did not dare to open more doors.As they looked up they only saw one pair of stairs and at the top was light.They could see sky through a glass.They did not bother to check door at third floor.It was last 4th floor a number of muggles that entered this mysterious place.When they reached the top they noticed it only had one door.They thought it was a way out.So they ran for it.But instead of the way out they have found themselves at the shores of great lake and overlooking was great castle with lots of towers.They turned to get out of this strange room or place but they found out there were no doors.
-"So my children-said mother to her children who were hiding under the covers."This was a story about 4 muggle children who went into the house of Sebastion Strutton and never came back to a muggle world."
There is old saying that goes like this "Curiosity killed the cat"
You should know that privacy is important thing and if you see sign no trespassing that means stay out.In case of this three muggles they got what they deserved in a way.
Children started crying because they were really scared but their mother seeing this told them last part of the story.
"Children listen to me because there is last part of the story for me to tell you."said mother wiping tear from each of their faces.
They did not die or were eaten by some monster."said mother reassuring her children. "They only were taken to attend best school in magical community. Hogwarts.The old man at the beginning of the story was Sebastian Strutton and he was famous for search really talented wizards like those for muggles.He knew this because no muggle could reach his house because he has protected it with muggle repellant charm.Only magical children would get close and would be able to enter his house.This house was some kind of test for them.Those 4 muggleborns were tested in each room they were taken.They proved their worth and were enrolled into Hogwarts."
"And that is how story really ends." said mother tucking in her children and kissing them for good night.
"Sleepy tight my lovelies." said mother as she waved her wand to extinguish the candles.
