Clara stood at the edge of the dome a bit nervously. It was raining on the other side of the wall, she could feel it. She wanted to go out and be in that rain, to feel what rain was like when it wasn't specifically triggered by the gods. The feeling nagged at her, even as she reluctantly stepped away from the wall.

Elsewhere, Clint watched from his chosen perch as Tony worked in his forge. The sound of hammer on hot metal was rhythmic and oddly soothing, and Clint just liked to watch Tony work.

Elisa stretched as she moved through her god's territory back towards a more common area, a flower tucked behind her ear. She sped up to a bit of a jog when she saw Clara though, smiling a bit as she looked at her friend.

"Headed anywhere in particular?" she asked as she caught up.

Tony barely looked around, instead focusing on his forge. There were a few others out working, but Tony was good at ignoring them while he worked, pausing every so often to inspect his work before continuing.

"Not really," Clara replied, grinning when she saw her friend. "It's raining outside the wall."

Clint just kept watching, not having anywhere in particular to be at that moment. He didn't interrupt Tony, though, he knew better than that.

"Ah." Elisa smiled. "Yeah, I don't have to worry about that. I haven't seen wild flowers outside the dome ever. It's harder for you."

Tony eventually did pause and look up at Clint, grinning briefly. He put his newest creation into water to cool before he pulled it out again, setting it aside to finish setting.

"See anything interesting up there, bird brain?" he called teasingly.

"The rain out there is different," Clara said. "It's not what we're used to."

Clint grinned back.

"Nope," he said. "Just trying to figure out what you're trying to make."

"I know." Elisa shrugged. "I don't know that we'll ever get to experience it, though."

"Come down and get a better look." Tony grinned as he set the two parts together. He'd have to weld them together, but that wouldn't be a problem.

"Yeah," Clara agreed, sighing a bit.

Clint hopped down from his perch and got closer to investigate.

"Alright, I'll bite," he said. "What are you making?"

Elisa patted her shoulder before she started walking again.

"Well, we can go check and see what the rest of the group is up to," she said, trying to cheer up her friend.

"Hip flask for Brucie~," Tony sing-songed with a grin. "I just need to weld it together."

Clara considered that for a moment before nodding.

"Sure," she said.

Clint raised an eyebrow at that.

"You're giving a flask to the guy with the anger management issues?" he asked.

Elisa nodded and headed over towards the forges, because they could usually find Tony there. Or someone who knew where he was.

"Yup." Tony grinned. "It's perfect." He rubbed his hands together in glee.

Clara followed her to the forges, although she was cautious about it. Some of the ones who worked in the forges were a bit wary of people like her sometimes. Fire and water tended not to mix well.

Clint snorted.

"You're giving it to him for tea, aren't you?" he asked.

"He can use it for whatever he wants," Tony said with a shrug. Then he spotted the girls heading towards them and grinned. "Go entertain the girls while I finish this up."

Clint rolled his eyes, but scrambled back up into the tree. He waited until the girls were closer before flicking a couple of acorns at their feet.

Elisa looked up into the tree at that and smiled. "Hey Clint," she said. "Having fun up there?"

"And throwing not quite ripe acorns at me," Elisa said, shaking her head fondly. "How many times have I told you that if it's not edible yet, you're not supposed to throw it at me?"

"Who's been counting?" Clint replied with a shit-eating grin, flicking another acorn at her.

Clara, meanwhile, skirted around the flirting pair and tiptoed into the forge.

Elisa caught the acorn and tossed it back at him, rolling her eyes.

"You've been talking to too many squirrels again, they're rubbing off on you."

Tony was busy welding the two pieces together, giving that a little bit to set before he grabbed the last piece to apply on there. Then he'd be all done.

"Nah, squirrels wouldn't do this," Clint replied, grinning. "This is all me."

Clara just watched, trying to be subtle about admiring Tony's muscles as he worked.

Elisa snickered and shook her head. "You're right, the squirrels are less annoying," she teased.

Tony finally got all the pieces put together and grinned, letting it cool down and grabbing a towel so he could wipe his face. He stretched a bit, glad he'd decided on the sleeveless shirt for working.

Clint snorted, but dropped down from the tree anyways.

Clara was glad he'd decided on a sleeveless shirt, too, but she didn't say that aloud. She just hung back and waited for him to notice her.

"I assume Tony is back at his forge," Elisa said, looking at Clint for a few moments.

Tony turned to go give Bruce his new present and blinked when he saw Clara there instead.

"Hey there, been waiting long?" he asked, tucking the flask into a pocket of his leather apron.

"Yup, working on some thing," Clint said. "He plans on giving it to Bruce."

"Not really," Clara replied. "I didn't want to interrupt."

Elisa rolled her eyes. "Those two," she muttered fondly. "Well, come on, let's go see if he's done or not yet and find somewhere to relax for a while."

"No, nope, not interrupting, I finished, all done." Tony grinned. "Got any plans for the rest of the day? Any work you need to get done?"

"Sure," Clint said, grinning. "Lead the way."

"No, no work today," Clara replied. "No plans, either. I was out near the wall, but it wasn't... comfortable. It's raining on the outside."
