I like your overall style. It's really cute. Hmm, suggestions? I have no idea. I don't know how GIMP works, so I'm not sure if I my suggestion is super doable, but if you could sorta blend the colors a bit more or something or use translucent colors to help blend it wouldn't have those spotty areas (which are more noticeable on Maslin b/c she's darker). Anyway, cool stuff. ^^
