Key, the thing is things that are suppose to be safe tend to be the most dangerous... lets just take a look at safty belts. I mean you don't hear on the news:

My mom actually survived a car accident because she wasn't wearing her seat belt.

She was thrown out of the car. Her father died in that accident.

Except her mother was flung from the car and died, and she survived... only breaking her arm.
That happened when she was thirteen. :insane: It's really an awful thing to go through so young. I'd never wish that on anyone.

I was in a car accident about 2 years ago. Very memorable, as it was on my way to my first concert.

That's horrible, I'm so sorry for your mother even though that was a long time ago (presumably) Finn :(

My mom has also been in a car accident. She was t-boned trying to make a left on a divided highway with a small lane over the divide to get into traffic on the other side.

My dad speculates that she was trying to commit suicide since she was on her way home from a parent-teacher conference for my brother and the teacher had basically said "His grades are awesome when he's with dad, they suck when he's with mom" (my parents are divorced and they have joint custody of him). I think there's a little bit of truth to it, but it happened at night too so maybe she just didn't see the car coming :/

She survived though, she fractured three vertebrae and had some abdominal pains (which were actually from a tumor that would have gone undiscovered were it not for the accident), so all in all it could've been worse for sure.

I was on my way to see Ozzy and Rob Zombie.

My little cousin was knocked down by a lorry when he was 8. Crossing the rode using a zebra crossing. The docters gave him a 10% chance of living
