It's sad that we can't use them anymore. I have a few that I really wish I had never unequipped hecause I want to use them but can't.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
We got 16 inches of snow 2 days before Turkey Day...and the city didn't bother to plow even the main roads! ...2 days later and the roads are still snow packed with islands of ice that jerk your cars wheels and makes one drive like a drunk!
Thank goodness the BF got 4 studded snow tires on the van the day the snow started...so I was able to get to Thanksgiving dinner at Hope's parents' house without winding up in a ditch...or worse, sliding into other cars!
The temperature has been frigid so there has been little to no melting happening.
I hope it warms up a bit so the roads can melt and become safer to drive on soon!

Omg, thanks to all the insane quantities of snow yesterday and today, black Friday is a freaking cakewalk today.
A lot of roads/areas are closed down for emergency travel only and a of the Canadian border spots are closed too. So it's only those brave enough to drive the snowy streets today.

We're about to join you guys. The snow is supposed to get awful and I don't have a car right now, so my relatives are being generous and offering to pick me up anything I need while the weather is not bad. The nice thing about working long days is I have long weekends to hunker down and not worry about getting to work in bad weather.

I am jealous of people with long weekends. I have technically 3 jobs. For a few months there, I had no days off. Now I get 1 day per week.

And I also have no car. I do not look forward to walking through the snow tomorrow

Were getting a lot of wet heavy snow here currently. And they're calling for freezing rain tomorrow. That'll be a fun walk to work tomorrow.

Well we didn't get the snow last night! we got it this morning. Then it stopped, now it's coming down again. I'm assuming about 4-6 inches so far. I went in for overtime so if it keeps falling I won't entirely mind. If they cancel school on Monday I can have a 3-day weekend with my kid.

Here, in Denver, we got about 2 additional inches of snow in about an hour's time yesterday, Black Friday.
Today we had horrible winds with gusts near 95 miles per hour that blew down trees in some mountain communities, causing power outages for over 4,000 households.
...And to think that Winter hasn't officially arrived yet!

...I'm now very much happy to know our last five winters have been... mild.

I'm kinda lowkey loving all the snow we got over Thanksgiving...

I just realized I have to shovel the 2 feet in front of my garage... I don't want tooooo.

In Denver you are required to shovel the snow off your sidewalk within 24 hours after the snow stops falling or receive a $50 fine for the first offense...then it's $100 for repeat offenses. Also, if someone slips and falls on the sidewalk around your property, you can be sued for damages.
It's best to clear the snow early before it settles and it becomes heavy.

Same here. Doesn't mean people do it though.

Omg the craziest thing is happening. I posted a pic on Instagram of an unfinished dragon head for a plushie I'm making and I must have used the right tags or something because it has almost 40 likes! Normally I only get around 8 at most....and 2 of those are the same friend on different accounts...my mind is just blown right now.

You should report the sidewalks that don't get shovelled!
Since I have a daughter in a wheelchair, I always feel sorry for folks in wheelchairs trying to get around after a snowfall...and unshovelled sidewalks can make it impossible for those folks to get around.

Yay for so many likes on Instagram! I bet you could make some nice pocket money if you had some dragons available for sale as Christmas gifts! My oldest daughter collects dragons and something unique like a handmade dragon would be a great gift for her.

There are just way too many to report them all tbh. Like...usually at LEAST 2-3 per block. If not the whole block.

I actually do have a few made up at the moment, though not set-up on Etsy or anything just yet. Because I just haven't had the time to get them photographed and uploaded. And also because my only internet (and camera) is via my stupid, slow smartphone so it's almost impossible to get anything set up. So my current only sales platform is via email tbh. Though I could probably set up a sales/shop page on Instagram.

Maybe Car'a'Carn: can help? I don't really know the extent of all the admins but Carn checks in fairly regularly.
