Stages of Creation

Here is where I will post pictures and/or log my work on my RL Yan. Feel free to comment on my work so far!

Stage One - Planning
I got really frustrated in this stage because I realized I didn't have much to work with. My sewing machine and all sewing materials are back home, 4300 miles away.
So I decided to make Yan out of a couple of my pillows, a shirt, paper, and creativity! And a little duct tape. >.>


Stage Two - Making the separate parts
My baby Yan's head was the first thing I created. With the help of a hair band, I used the shirt to shape his head into a round object [MOMMY, I CAN FIT THE ROUND BLOCK IN THE SQUARE HOLE! 8D]


Then I added the facial features:


And next I made his arms and legs:

[I was a little stupid and made the legs facing the same way, so I had to recolor the other side of the leg before attaching it. >.<;;]

Stage Three
Finally, it was time to put him together! Look at the next post for the finished product~
