I'm almost done with it...but it's not fun.
Basically, the title is asking (more or less) If we should take precautionary measures to protect the environment and make sure we have enough resources (fuel, farming lands for food) and look for alternate energy sources so that 100 years down the line they aren't screwed because we used all of the fuel, and cemented the farming lands, and there wouldn't be enough resources for all the people on earth.
I just realized that that's not too simple either >.<
edit: we don't want Soylent Green to become a reality.
