I adore What's My Name?. Though the music in general is awesome.

I'm so glad I'm not critical of what I watch and I can just enjoy the thing.

I'm not overly critical. But to me music can make or break a movie/show.

That's awesome. My brother's living at home for now with his kitty.

Autumn (ze kitty) had to have surgery to have some tumors removed. According to mom, some licking of the stitches isn't bad?? As long as she doesn't do it 24/7 or bite at them???? I'm still going to call the vet tomorrow when they're open to make sure this is safe and won't compromise her healing.

Hopefully she won't have to wear a cone.

If she does, I have no way to get to the vet's to pick it up. I don't drive, and even if I did the only car in the household is my mom's, and she's gone literally from sunup till almost dinnertime to babysit my cousin's kid. And she's bringing in the car to have it checked tomorrow on the way there (there's a mechanic's shop a few blocks from where my cousin lives, so my mom can drop off the car and walk the rest of the way), so even if I call her to be buzzed over there's still gonna be no transportation.

Oh yeah, and this town has no public transportation either. And the vet's on the other side of town, so it's not walking distance. So if she does need a collar, I'll have to either find someone who can pick it up for me or pray they do house calls....

Well, I've made a temporary collar out of some empty folders lying around. We've got enough to choke a horse, I swear.

I did see at the top of the thread a little convo about the music from Descendants 2!!! Omg I LOVED the movie!!!
So much better content and music than the first one. I mean, the first one I watched the first time and made fun of it the whole time until it got to If Only, and only that song made me watch it a second time, and that's when I actually fell in love with the movie itself lol The initial shock of the movie threw me the first time, but now I just love it!! Totally did NOT have that experience with Descendants 2.

Although the movie seemed a little chopped or forced at times in terms of plot (and I mean, did we FORGET that Gaston and Ursula DIE in their movies???! That still bugs me XD;) I really really enjoyed the 2nd movie. The music was beyond incredible, and what happened to Mal was so on point - I loved the development of the kids and how they all seemed to fit in but Mal was just stuck and torn between herself and who they wanted her to be. I loved the pull and development - it was such a great sequel. I really hope they make a third one! The new characters were so great to watch and learn about so I really hope to see more of that in future installments <3

Definitely love the whole vibe of the second movie - although I wish they had run in to their parents in this one - I bet it was hard getting the stars back into the cast though - and am I the only one who noticed Mal forgot to grab her Mom when she left the Isle? I think she left her in the loft but I may have missed where they got her - I still haven't figured that one out but I only watched it once so I could have just missed it :3

I'm not surprised it was a spell that made it mostly blonde - it was so awkward watching her and Ben though - it was clear she was so out of place, looks and all. Way too preppy!! I am thinking they must dye it though after Mal's trip to Dizzy and talking about Evie - but I'm not sure how Evie and Carlos have their hair still the same when they clearly have not been to Dizzy, so I'm wondering if they just dyed over the spell and it couldn't be reversed since she was on the Isle with no magic and it was a way to introduce Dizzy? That's kind of still muddled for me. How did you interpret that part?
