In short, there is this chick who falls in love with some Gary-Stu-impossibly-gorgeous vampire. And his family is all weird too. Or something. And somewhere along the line, there is a werewolf somewhere. @_@

especially the last one, Breaking Dawn. the main character (bella) gets turned into a vampire and the way her new life is described is absolutely amazing. it's like a work of art in words. simply amazing xD
bella(human) falls in love with Edward(vampire) and Jacob(werewolf) falls in love with bella. it's a crazy love triangle, but eventually bella marries Edward, and Jacob falls in love with bella's daughter. they're all pretty much immortal. except for Jacob. I'm not sure if he's immortal too.

I used to read a lot of romance novels, but haven't in a long time now. I'm would much rather read a new Stephen King (or even an old one--they just get better no matter how many times I read them) or right now I'm reading State of Fear by Michael Crichton. I'm also reading a book called The Human Edge by Gordon R. Dickson. It's a very odd book, but interesting.

I don't really read a particular author's books...I just randomly find stuff to read. I like fantasy-ish stuff, but not romance...nor do I like Harry Potter...but thats a whole different story. XP

I'm looking into a series by Robert Jordon, someone lent me the first book. I haven't had the chance to start it yet. D:

Harry Potter is okay, but is really isn't all that wonderfully written. I do like the story, but it is meant for a child, not something that produces great vision/imagery.

@Avalai- I dunno. I'm just not really into it. ^^; Bella has a daughter already? Daaaamn. There must be a time skip somewhere along there...XD Oh well.

I agree. Harry Potter was ok, but not something that kept my attention through all 7 (?) books. And definitely written for readers younger than I am, although my children really liked them.

I like fantasy, sci-fi stuff, lawyer books by john grisham, stuff like that.

Oh, he's a wonderful author. His older stuff is better, I didn't really care for the last couple of books as much although they are still good. And he's written so many of them it would take a wonderfully long time to get through them all.


Another favorite author of mine is Mercedes Lackey. I haven't seen anything new of hers in a long time, but her books are definitely ones I read over and over again.
