I mean.. He really did like Key quite a lot, so much that wanting him in his life still seems totally in character, evem if it won't be romantic like Lorn originally wanted.

Those two are definitely still friends! It's healthier for them since no one's pushing outside of their comfort zone but yeah.

Their reunion will hopefully be a really beautiful and heartwarming scene.
