Perfume is soooo expensive though. I'm not sure I can justify spending like $80+ dollars on a fragrance.

I was thinking about that but I think it's too late to ask at this point. XD

I don't think they give those out around here... I was just planning on going into Sephora to try it on there.

My favourite has probably got to be the Beyond Paradise by Estee Lauder. I had an opportunity to sample it when I was in high school and never forgot that smell; plus, the bottle was just gorgeous! Just my luck to find a great price on the perfume and the lotion, which I've finally ran out of after a couple years. I always had compliments on the smell--a bank teller actually leaned over to smell me, which was really startling, but a little funny after.

The other is FCUK HER by fcuk. It leans a little more on the cologne side, so think of...like an expensive sort of preppy smell, and that's the perfume. Aside from those two actual perfumes, I have a nice collection of oils and lotions (I like using lotions most). Right now my favorite is a roll-on lilac perfume.

So I got a gift card to Sephora for Christmas and I am thinking about using it on a perfume. I was considering getting that Dior Addict fragrance that my coworker used to wear but I feel like it's just a bit too sweet. Like I want something that's a bit more interesting than just super sweet. While I was browsing around yesterday I came upon Si by Giorgio Armani and I must say that I think I am falling for this scent! It's sweet, a tiny bit fruity, and also a bit mysterious/musky. It's more expensive than a lot of the other perfumes though so I'm hesitating...

Ah, I've seen the commercials for that. I was a little ??? about them, but I didn't know anything about the actual scent. Sounds interesting. I smelt the actual perfume for Tokyo Milk No. 6, and it happens to smell better than I remember. I might circle back to that again.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a perfume commercial now that you mention it...

No? This one has Cate... um. I forget. oh! Blanchett. It's typically confusing and a little tonier than (even) most perfume commercials, so it not-quite-ineffably annoys me.

I was looking up perfumes that are similar to Si and apparently there is one by Fcuk. I don't think I've ever heard of this brand or seen it around thoigh...

I got a sample of So today to help me decide. I'm pretty tempted it just feels like $70 for 1 fluid ounce of liquid is insanely expensive. XD

Found this (local!) Perfumer, and I'm really curious to smell all their things: P E R F U M E – BLACKBIRD
Knerd: might be interested in this too.

Keeping on that theme: I was in walgreens yesterday and the seattle store has this fancy 'look boutique ' thing now. Could have spent much longer there than I did but I did get a chance to see their demeter fragrance display. They didn't have the bonfire scent (boo) but I did get to try one called riding crop and it was pretty noteworthy. I definitely thought it was something Knerd: would like.

I wish I could bottle what my kitty cat smells like. Never found a cat that has the same scent as her, she just smells all catty.

Thanks! I've actually been browsing the Demeter online store lately, since I can't seem to find any of their products in real life. I might buy a couple of their .3oz roll-on perfumes just to try them out. Honey is at the top of my list right now, but maybe I'll order Riding Crop just for the fun of it too.
