But I like to stay in my little thread! If I don't, no one else will!

Aww, Sally looks adorable! I didn't know you could draw. I knew you could pixel, but not draw! It's fantastic! The only thing I suggest is to rethink the harsh black lines near her neck.

Is a Yan like an evolving pet?

Ahh, would you like me to change the colour?
I may end up using a dark grey. I'm glad you like her! Yeah, I draw. I used to love pixeling but it started to get bothersome for me. I may go back to it every now and then but drawing is less time consuming

Yan is the white thing my avatar is carrying right now. It was made to commemorate yanyan13's baby, I believe. It's just a white baby thing for your avatar.

Is the Yan for everyone or just certain people?

Only if you want, I was just saying it for the future.

You can only obtain a Yan when jellysundae makes it available. This event is the second time she has released it. She sets out a task and you must complete such a task to obtain one. The first event was to make a journal about having adventures with a drawn yan. This event you're supposed to make a 3-d yan.

Alright. Thanks for the suggestion. :3
I've been in love with doodling on MS Paint recently. It's so much more fun.

Oh, I see.

Na, I'll pass on the Yan then.

I wish I could draw digital art, but pathetic traditional art is all I can do.

I personally love traditional art more than digital art
I just don't like to fumble with my scanner all the time. ><

Having a tablet definitely helps you with drawing online
I can't draw with my mouse.

Traditional art, to me, is more difficult and so I praise it more when I see great traditional because usually all I see is crappy trad. art.

I also feel that traditional art is more difficult seeing how you don't have layers and undo buttons.
Though I know how difficult digital art can be

In most cases, I prefer traditional art over digital any day.

I'll take any really, but traditional art is really hard to find so I am always happy when I find GREAT traditional art.

Yes, no undo button and a lot of times, all your mistakes will be shown.

watercolours is my weakness for art
I've tried multiple times but I can't really use it look like you could have only done it in water colours... I can't explain what I'm trying to say about that... sort like I can't bring out its abilities? ; A;

I don't draw great and I'm still quite flawed but when I have more time, I could conjure up something traditionally for your OCs

I am not good with ink and things like that. I like using charcoal though.

I tend to have the worst luck with charcoal, and either way, the feeback I get from charcoal on paper makes my skin crawl. >_< I LOVE watercolor though~~~ <3

The difference between digital and traditional, for me, is that I will always be able to pick up a paper and draw by hand, but if I do not draw digitally for a while, I need to practice again to get back into the swing of things~

Maude I completely understand what you mean. But it's really the same for me both traditionally and digitally. Digital art just takes me longer to get the hang of again

mew I don't like things smudging but I do like playing with chalk pastels. Those are really fun, though I'm not a big fan of what it looks like after you spray it to not smudge but uhhh... it's nice before spray

N0ot yet but I'm not worrying so much about that right now. I got a bunch of things but I'm mainly focusing on completing the second set! ><

Have you gotten everything you wanted? (:

I've completed the second set! :3
I always like to keep an extra set for future sellings~
I recently rediscovered my stash of old EIs I had on my mule and oh boy! so much but I have no idea about going about selling them -I'm so out of tune of prices.

I'm going around buying a few commons as well. I'm only buying the ones I feel I must have or will use in avatars  I have this bad habit of just buying because it looks nice and not knowing how to incorporate it in avatars

Woot! Thanks for chatting a bit in here guys!

I do well with charcoal, actually. My teacher has complimented my charcoal work in class.

Sushi: I have a quest thread if you'd like to drop by there!

I need help! I only got maybe three of the event EIs! GAHH!

Sorry, no pictures actually. But it was this thing where you destroy, build, destroy like five times, turn the paper upside down, and then start the work on the actual piece.

@Sushi: XDD I would do that with these EIs, but I am not one to sell stuff easily (except Gaia of course). So I choose to stick with one set rather than more. Wow~ Lucky!!! :D Why not just wear them?

@Mew: No problem~ :D I was better than some of my peers, but still I don't like the feel. When we first learned charcoal, the teacher had us do a drawing of a drape. And everyone failed miserably, but she said that mine was the closest to looking like flowing fabric. XDDD

Maude: That's good then! I think for me, even though I am not perfect in charcoal, it's the easiest for me to control and manage and I'm just more comfortable with it.

mew I'd love to visit! I'll add it to my subscriptions box.
GAH! If I had known, I would gotten some extras for you wiht my candy. I'm all spent out on candy unless I miraculously can get 50+ soon ><

WHAT. THAT SOUNDS AMAZING.

Maude I have trouble selling things as well - though it helps if I have more than one extra set ><
I would feel more confident if I knew prices but I really don't. :C
 I just don't know how to integrate them into an outfit and if I do, it may not look complete and I don't know most of menewshan's commons/items so I wouldn't know where to start looking for the missing piece
