I glanced up at my bookcase this morning and saw some of my favorite children's books in the corner. ^_^
They included:
The Little Mermaid
The Last Puppy
Harry the Dirty Dog
The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss
Reminisce with me! What are your favorite children's books? :)

My favourite picture book will always be "the little mole who knew it was none of his business". It's about a mole who gets his head pooped on, and so he goes around a farm asking all the farm animals who pooped on his head, and they're all like "no, that's not what my poo looks like, THIS is what my poo looks like". It's so funny.

The Chronicles of Narnia. I practically lived on those books as a kid. They're still old friends I go back to every so often. Especially The Last Battle.

My all time favorite children's book will forever and always be,
"The Paperbag Princess"
It was about a princess who's prince was kidnapped by a dragon and all of her clothes were burnt in a fire, so she had to wear a paper bag and she goes to rescue the prince, and instead of using brawn, she uses her brain to trick the dragon into falling asleep and she goes and rescues the prince, but when he sees her, she says, "I will not marry you. You're dirty and you're wearing a paper bag! Come back when you look like a real princess."
And she was like, "You know what? I wouldn't marry you if my life depended on it." And she leaves him.

Anything by Roald Dahl was a must-have when I was a child. I adored his work as a child and some of my favorites by him were 'The Witches' and 'Boy'. His books were really entertaining for me when I was a child.

Roald Dahl was also big for me as a child, back when I was starting to read on my own. My favorite will always be 'The BFG'
The first book I was ever able to read on my own was by Dr. Suess, 'Hop on Pop'. I remember the word 'though' always tripped me up and my dad would have to correct me every time.

My favorite childhood book has always been Love You Forever. I don't know who wrote it. The other day, I was doing laundry at my apartment complex, and one of my neighbors had her blinds open, and she has the main quote from the book on her wall. I want to find out where she bought it and buy one for my apartment.

Bearzy: Oh my goodness.....are you referencing The Vicar of Dibley?!?! Or is that a real book?
And I had a Peter Rabbit Pop out book and an Alice and Wonderland pop out book that I adored as a child. I still have both because they're so fantastic.
