I always take the "praise - criticism - praise" structure when I review a friend's work. It means that they know that overall I like it, but that there are things that need looking at.

It's something teachers are taught. First you say (for example) "overall I love it, and I really like your characters, but I was thinking that (x) was acting quite out of characters in chapter 4. I did love how you managed to work in the gnome joke though!"
That way you are giving your criticism in a way that makes sure the person you are reviewing isn't overwhelmed by the bad and thinks "ok it's good but could be better" instead of "it's do baaaad. I suck! I'm never writing again". Which is how criticism on its own often feels.

Oh that.
In recent decade, those punishment were phasing out.
When I was in primary school many years ago, I was caned by teacher for not doing school work, forgot to bring books.
*roll eyes* I still refuse to do it. lol.

Oh man! Caning was made illegal here when my parents were children!

You can make everything if you are not bound to what you learn?
I am NOT doing star chart as what is seen on Earth. eg. Orion, Sagitarius, dipper...
I am creating it from scratch, giving them names and meaning as I please, of course that would be easier.

Still, you have to work out the laws of how stars work. Or I suppose you could invent that too? I dunno, I like to research really heavily before I do anything.

Even the science are still researching on how things works.
I am hijacking a lot of the existing science, so to not make things too complicated for other people IF there is other people. lol. It would be easier for me too, to remember the fact that is not too alien.

Currently, I am tidying out the facts of my planetary system where the world is. It has some wacky orbits to make my objective works. 4 seasons at the same time around the globe.
