I just graduated in Lit - mostly American.
(I wrote my thesis on Willa Cather, the second woman to win the Pulitzer)

Who else did it/does it/wants to do it?

I'm about to train in something completely different, but I'm glad I studied English.

I could be an English major if I actually went to a university. English is my forte'. [Closest thing to an accent. Dx]

I'm an English major, this is my first semester. So far I am really enjoying it. I'm taking American Lit. 1, it's so interesting!

We've read Rip Van Winkle (the most fun and interesting so far) Poems by Phyills Wheatley, tons of other poems and stories, can't remember them all right now, but I'm supposed to keep reading on the book Uncle Tom's Cabin.

Yes I liked Rip Van Winkle. Uncle Tom's Cabin though... Dx

Do you reach Poe, or is he in a later module period?
In my final semester I had a very interesting class on Gothic tropes through the whole of American fiction. It's a persuasive argument.

I don't think we'll get to Poe. He's pretty interesting also.
