It is not giving out any yarn when I click Take Yarn. Nor is it giving out any buckets of snow when I click Dig.

I'm logged onto my mule's account and I'm using Internet Explorer. I have the same problem as other people here and I'm not being awarded any buckets.

I'm using version 6.0, but that doesn't seem to be the problem since other people here have been using the latest version and still not getting anything.

Anyway, I'll keep stalking this thread and if the problem is solved, I'll update the browser. x3

Question ::

Is Greed being greedy with the yarn?
Whenever I go to click him anymore, I get the message that says he's giving me yarn, BUT my yarn count hasn't moved from one....
Is it just being glitchy or?....

Uh... I'm also not able to get items using yarn in the special event store. I don't know if this is a problem in IE or not, but I'm trying with Firefox right now.

On the Menewshan Snowfields page it says on there that The gifts will not open until Thursday, December 25th, 2009... huh? 2009? I hope thats a mistake.. right? I dont wanna wait a year to open it...:o

Yeah, I can't seem to get buckets or yarn either when on IE (I have the most recent verison of it)

I hope it is fixed soon, if not then well...my mule will be naked forever. XD

I switched to Opera and am now getting yarn and snow! I even get error messages if I click twice. *shocked* Cute messages btw. And now I'm going to enjoy the event.

I have been searching all over the place. I finally got my first gift box but have no idea where the Gift Exchange area is located. Does anyone know where it is? Thank you for your help :?:

EDIT: OK I see now that the Gift Exchange section is the same spot that I pick up the Gift but we are not allowed to open them until the 25th. And that is where I got confused. I thought we could open them right away. Sorry about that. ;)

Yes, and CK notified Inso about it, so it'll be fixed eventually.

I'm a little confused about yarn...

On the Channah vs Greed page, it says the green bar measures how close Channah is to completing the scarf. It also says that donating yarn to her will increase the bar, while taking it from Greed will have the opposite effect.

Wouldn't it just cancel out, then, and the bar would never go up?

Stephie - that's worded a little incorrectly. Using Yarn in the event store takes away from Channah, not simply getting it in the first place. No worries. :)

Yes - this event seems to dislike IE intensely. If there's any way you can use a different browser, I strongly encourage it until Inso has time to figure out what to fix to make it work properly in IE. :/
