“he did not send me you know.” Jack tried to think of a better way to get to this boy. At least just to let him know that Caspian was not going t harm him. “I was his old partner.”

“I’m so fucking interested.” Behar snorts sarcastically, completely closing the door in the other’s face now before starting to move back to his bedroom, scratching his lower back as he does so.

“ you were interested in why his add described you.” He put his foot in the door before Behar could full shut the door. “it scared you that someone was looking for you, and you did not know who it was.”

"No. I figured it was someone I knew playing a prank on me, which is why I went to see who it was." Behar scoffs, narrowing his nearly white eyes at the other. "Move."

“so now your scared, so scared that you won’t go back and try to make a better life for yourself?” His foot did not move.

“I can make a better life for my fucking self without being surrounded by some freak.” Behar spits. “Now move your fucking foot before I’ll break it!”

"and I think that your scared. your scared to admit that there are things in this world that are not supposed to be possible." he moved his foot a little bit more into the door. he had had these shoes made for just this thing. they had steel reinforcements in them so that the door could not be slammed and damage his foot. "no matter how much the money is you cant take knowing that that man is not like us and that he is doing good with what he has been given."

"I. Don't. Care. About. What. He. Does." Behar hisses, trying to close the door even with the foot there. "He. Is a freak. I'm not going back there. Ever. Never again." he scowls. "Now leave! I don't want you here!"

"and what makes him a freak?" he wanted to know why this boy was running from the job of his life.

"Because he's not human. Of-fucking-course." Behar states out, eying the other a bit weirdly. It's a common answer, even he knows that much, so he wonders why the other needed to be reminded.

"Cas? not human? what makes a person human?" interesting and here I thought that he was human and that alot of the people he hunted down where to monsters. I will have to tell him he needs to turn in his humanity card.

"Oh. I don't know. Maybe the fact that he makes people do things against their will, his eyes turn red, he has fangs or that his body tosses out bullets like it's nothing." Behar comments dryly, sarcasm lacing his words.

"I did tell him he needed to stop doing the command thing." he smiled. "but you have to say he did not make you do anything that would have harmed you."

"Oh. No. Wanting to take a swim isn't fucking harmful for someone who fucking can't swim at all." Behar scoffs before clamping his mouth shut as he realizes what he just blurted out. Yep. Behar Nefrados, 21, can't swim to save his life.

" and the ones that he told that to, if he had not, you would not be standing her talking to me." looking around he made sure that no one was around. "he is as human as you are he just has gifts. he hates using them but does to save lives."

"I. Don't. Give. A. Damn." Behar hisses. "I'm not going back there. I'm going to find myself another, normal job. One where I only have to deal with humans. No vampires. No nothing."

" there is a recession on buddy you think your going to get a better paying job then the one he is offering. hell if I was younger I would take the job all over again. but if you really think that your going to be filthy rich from playing in the park be my guest." pulling his foot out of the door jack shook his head. "looks like you only have enough to keep going for half a mouth, then where will you be? on the street? in the park trying to stay warm. he is not going to hold that passion open for too long. he need you, give him your demands he may meat them."

“My demands. Are that my boss is a fucking human.” Behar frowns. “And it’s not even my kind of job! If I knew it was actually a normal job and not a prank I wouldn’t even have taken it on!”
