Sophronia shifted in her sleep, letting out a yawn. All of a sudden, the witch sat bolt upright, gold-green eyes open wide. A loud thump followed the sudden action. Her hands clutched the blanket tightly. She let out a sigh a few moments latter, then glanced at Arkerril with a laugh.

"Soph, one word and you'll wish we were back in the canyon again." The onyx skinned elf glared up at her. His hair fell about his head in unusual disarray. Turning from her, the elf stood and tugged at his clothing. Arkerril moved to his pack and shrugged off his tunic.

The witch eyed him appreciatively with a slight smile. Her friend did look oh so good, but he was more then interested in another. Shifting about, she went to change her dress without caring that the elf might see. He was after all, always treating her as nothing more then a sister.

Soon the two were stepping out, one silently brooding, and the other musing over her thoughts. Sophronia moved towards the library, wanting very much to find a book to immerse herself in. She opened the door without much thought, and halted in her tracks upon seeing Naer and Gisa. A blush swept across her cheeks, but she walked inside nonetheless to grab an interesting looking tome, then slipped out once more. She scuttled over to the couch Lia had been laying upon when the witch had first arrived. Soon her racing thoughts were calmed by the soothing flow of ink over yellowed paper.

Arkerril settled down upon a stool, and sniffed the air experimentally. He had felt the disturbance in Soph's emotions, but he didn't dare approach her. She always snapped at him when her feelings were trying to right themselves, then again ... The witch always snapped at him.

Shaking his head, he was tempted to go into the kitchen to see who was making such delicious smelling fare. With a shrug Arkerril leaned against his hand with a small smile.

Nenet found herself dragged along, the broom in her hand falling with a clatter onto the floor. She opened her mouth to protest, but quieted as Lia spoke. Though she did have something to say after that. "It is not much, I can merely control and create flames." It was helpful, certainly, but nothing spectacular. There were other fire-starters in the world. She stifled a yawn, the restless night starting to catch up to her. Hopefully she would not have the same dreams this night.

Arriving in the alchemy room brought back more memories, though Lia's seemed to have more going on at once. Nenet let her eyes wander over the entire room, listening to the bubbling and other sounds. There were also strange smells, mixes of herbs that almost clashed in her nose. She tried to ignore it, turning back to Lia. "What did you want me to do first?"

Naer's arms remained around Gisa. His definition of just a little longer was probably different from her's. He had no intention of letting go, he would stand there forever if she would let him. Her apology did catch him by surprise, it wasn't exactly something he expected from her and it brought to mind his own actions. His arms around her tightened for a moment and he buried his face against her hair. "There is nothing you need apologize for, all is forgiven. I feel I should beg your forgiveness, I acted in a truly horrible manner." He clung to her tightly for a moment, then his grip relaxed and he breathed deeply of her scent. "I will never allow myself to become consumed by such rage again." He had certainly frightened himself and it had been a terrible feeling. For half a moment his body trembled, it stopped as soon as it started. The sun elf was so wrapped up around Gisa, he hadn't even noticed Sophronia enter the room, grab a book and leave.

Gisa noticed the woman and chuckled at her blush but soon found herself distracted. She was almost tempted to blush as he spoke and snuggled into her hair as if it's scent was his life's breath. He really did love her, it was as simple as that. It wasn't the kind of half selfish love she was use to, but something else... something she had probably been craving more then she would like to admit. It made part of her want to defile it and dismiss it but part of her .... part of her could fly. She half smiled as he spoke. His apology and gentleness soothing her back into being more herself, well the self he was use to anyway. She leaned in to tease at his ear a whisper of breath and a handful of words.

"Well I suppose you'll just have to show your passion in other ways then, I rather liked you being bold." She teased, her way to say that she forgave him. She hesitated but reached up and ruffled his hair in the way she use to so frequently. She did wonder what her tease would get her into but for once she didnt' care. The truth, she finally accepted, was she loved him too and maybe she needed such a thing. Maybe loneliness had so eaten away at her, she just hadn't noticed.

Lia didn't answer at first. She was clearing away an area in one corner and making a small pile of paper. As she ripped each strip the paper would glitter slightly, showing it was likely something she had prepared before. It was a simple thing really, and what color each one turned would tell her a bit about the strength of the other woman's flames now and their potential. She was curious really, and it'd give her a place to start. The obvious conclusions was the soul was a dragon or phoenix but Lia never went to the obvious conclusions first.... maybe because they bored her. Once done she moved away to hug Nenet around the shoulders.

"Set those on fire and we'll see what pretty colors you can make!" Lia suggested with a laugh. She then let go of the other woman and perched on her favorite stool like chair. It was plushie on top but had no arms or back to restrict her movement. It was also enchanted so she could push it around easily. It seemed to float in fact a few centimeters above the ground, not that she seemed to think that was odd enough to explain.

Vilya 'V' Morgul
V blinked as Lia finished her third desert and offered her a job only to run off without waiting for an answer. Strange child she thought to herself. She shrugged and turned back to the kitchen. She had just finished cleaning up and was exiting into the bar when she saw Ark. She half smiled at the sight of someone she considered a friend and stepped back into the kitchen to quickly prepare a meal along with her own. She would then head out to the bar, figuring Lia would not mind if it waited a bit to clean up that little bit. She would set one meal in front of Ark and the other to the side where she could nibble on it.

"You should eat Arkerril" She suggested softly, knowing he hadn't eaten yet unless he had something stashed in his room. She spoke with that usual strange accent, her voice respectful as she said his full name. He had not given her permission to call him anything else so she saw no reason to. She smiled softly after she finished speaking, hoping he would enjoy the meal she had prepared for him.

Show his passion in other ways? Naer wasn't sure he understood what she meant, but he could guess and the thoughts that guessing led to caused a slight blush to form on his face. He pushed the thoughts away as she ruffled his hair, he wouldn't think, he would only feel right now. With his heart and his soul. Thinking would just muddle things up. He let his arms fall away from Gisa, bringing one hand up to rest his fingers under her chin, gently tilting her head toward him as he brought his own face down close to her's. His lips pressed against her lips, and his eyes fluttered a moment before closing as their lips met. His lips pushing against her's with an innocent need, an innocent desire to physically show his love for her. An innocent desire and need to be wanted and accepted by her. His other hand had moved to rest gently but firmly on her hip, somewhat pulling her body against his. Naer would take things no farther than that, at least not until he was certain she wanted it, wanted him.

Gisa Kriemhild
Gisa chuckled as he blushed and might have stepped back but the touch of her chin was enough to stop her. She looked at him rather curiously, only to find his lips and grip of her hip answer any unspoken questions. She shivered, not out of fear but a soft delight as she was pulled into him. It was far more bold and passionate a gesture then she had expected out of the one who had once sworn there was no intimacy between them and seemed positively afraid of sexual need. Still, perhaps that was simply because he was the kind to only need what he first loved.

She felt herself melting into the kiss, her hand drifting to lay on his chest and her other arm wrapping around his shoulder as she pressed into the kiss. Her heart seemed to beat faster in her chest, the simple kiss thrilling her in a way that she had not expected. Then again she tended to date the type you couldn't really trust and it was always a bit of a power struggle. This was... so different. She couldn't really comprehend it and she found herself pressing into the kiss with a passion and need that surprised her. She knew nothing about her was ever innocent, and she felt a twinge of regret that he would only know this... the innately demanding lust of anything touched by the demonic.

Yet the regret did nothing to stop her from pressing her own body to his with a soft whimper and parting her lips as if to beg for a deeper kiss as she tasted his lips. Was it the human in her or the demon that wanted so badly to give itself up to him? Or was it a bit of both? she honestly couldn't be sure.

As Gisa seemed to welcome kiss, Naer deepened it. When her lips parted a bit, he slipped his tongue gently past them so that it could dance with her's. It was true, without love, Naer would not need or want this. Something like this would frighten him terribly if love were not involved. His love for her made him more than willing to completely give himself to her, and slowly but surely he had backed her against one of the bookshelves, not breaking the kiss, and pressing his body against her own. There was nothing greedy in his kiss or the way the hand on her hip slipped around her waist to hold her closer. It was all pure need, true his body was hungry for her's now, but there was only want and desire. A desire to be one with his Gisa. He pressed his body firmly against her's, moving his hips ever so slightly to make her aware of that desire to be one. He didn't think she would push him away, she seemed willing enough to take his kiss, he hoped she would be willing to take the rest of him. However if she wasn't, Naer would let her push him away without complaint. Already this had gone farther than he had even dared to hope it would with Gisa.

Gisa Kriemhild
Gisa shivered again as his lips took hers, able to feel his hunger like most would the heat of a flame. Perhaps it the nature of what she was, perhaps she just wanted to be needed so badly, even she couldn't tell you. Then again there was little she was particularly able to think off, becoming rapidly consumed by her own need. She had only ever been able to fight that desire by harsh memories and lack of love but neither could save her now. As he pressed her to the shelf she felt no fear, no thoughts of the past leapt to mind, only the feeling of his desire mingling with her own until she couldn't tell the difference between them. Her hand stroked over his chest to his shoulders and soon both her arms were around his shoulders as she pressed into the kiss. Slowly, reluctantly, and with a soft whimper of desire she pulled from the kiss with shallow shaky breaths.

"We..... should probably head to our room" She whispered quietly before pressing her lips to his. She pushed all her passion into the kiss, all the heat of her soul as she held tightly to him for a moment. She wanted him to feel her own need, her own passion, and know without words her answer to his unspoken demand. She would give all herself to him, even if her mind was not ready to say the words her body was already trying to communicate with every whimper, ever stroke, every touch.

When Gisa pulled from the kiss, the tiniest noise of protest left Naer's lips, but he would not force himself on her if she wanted to pull away. Still the way her body pressed against his, the way she had accepted his kiss. He felt certain she wasn't pulling away because she was rejecting him. Then she spoke and he smiled at her. A genuine smile, a smile that reached his eyes, the only emotions swimming in those eyes were happiness and love. It seemed to be overflowing, spilling out of his heart and soul. Emanating from his aura in ways that most people never will know. Pure love, such an innocent and beautiful emotion.

Without warning Naer had moved, his body slipping away from her's and his hands leaving her body. Though one of his hands moved to grip Gisa's hand, interlocking his fingers gently with her's and then he was moving. Tugging her along behind him, eager it seemed, to get out of the library and up to their room. He knew better than to do what they had been doing in such a public room..what if someone had seen them? Naer tugged Gisa along out of the library and then up the stairs to their room, Naer was in a hurry for two reasons. He was eager to be one with Gisa, and eager to get up there before anyone else could see how eager he was to be one with Gisa.

Gisa could feel, and nearly see, his excitement. It made a chuckle leave her lips even though she had to admit part of her was equally eager. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze and skipped up the stairs with him, knowing she was acting like an over anxious teenager but not really caring. She would say nothing until she got him up into their room, then she would pull him in and lock the door behind them with her magic so they would not be interrupted with a little soundproofing enchantment as she could be rather... enthusiastic and she did not yet know how loud he would get either. Once satisfied if he gave her time to she would speak, a simple whisper of a sentence in his ear as everything faded to black in a world of lust and passion.

"Now my dear one, show me what you want. Here and now, as long as you want me, I'm yours."

(and we fade to black XD because naer is apparently rather ager)

Nenet watched the fae-like woman tear up strips of the paper, noting that it sparkled slightly each time. Her green eyes blinked, a frown coming to her face for just a moment. What was the paper going to do? The frown disappeared quickly, though, as Lia finished and gave her a hug.

"Oh, alright," she replied, relieved that it was just coloring in the paper. Or, rather, that it would just react with color, instead of an explosion or some such. She waited for Lia to get settles, then focused her power with little effort, igniting the paper strips in the corner, a flit of orange fire appearing above it to settle and eat the kindling provided.

The flames suddenly blazed up white-hot, and Nenet threw an arm up to protect her eyes. She had to know what els it was going to do though, and peeked carefully over. Brilliant green sparks were flying up through the flames, still white-hot though that should have consumed the paper by now. It burned like that for a few moments more, then sputtered and died out, just as suddenly as it had blazed up.

Lillian accepted the key that was placed next to her and made her way up the stairs to find her room so she could get a good nights sleep. When she found the room she placed the key in the door and and nudged it open with her foot, too tired to lift her arms. She trudged to the bed, dropping her bag on the floor as she did, and flopped down falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

In the morning she woke to the sunlight pouring through her window and noticed a glass of water on the bedside table. She stood and walked to the bathroom to freshen herself up and then continued back into the room to change clothes. As she walked out of her room and down the stairs walking into the main room she smelled the wonderful smell of breakfast. She suddenly realized just how hungry she was. The night before had left her empty and drained of her energy, so after that good nights sleep she felt recharged and able to eat something for the first time in a while. She walked to one of the empty table and sat down wondering what they might've been cooking that smelled so good and if she could get any of it or was it all already gone?

As the fire burst briefly a air of protective ice 'safety glasses' would appear over the fay's eyes absently but she did not flinch or otherwise move as she watched the colors. No dragon or phoenix colors.... surprising. That shade of green, however, appeared familiar. Without saying a word to the other woman she waved her hand over the ice to make it disappear and simply reform as a blue crystal in her hair before she went to her book shelf. She muttered to herself as she began to slide out various paintings she had done until she finally found the one she was looking for. It was one of the lights that appeared in the mountains of this land. They were in many different colors and shades but most were a vivid green...... the same green of Nenet's fire. She would hold it for the other woman to see with a warm smile on her lips.

"That color was the brightest a fire can burn, symbolizing power. The green I wasn't sure at first, it wasn't quite the right shade to mean dragon but I knew i'd seen it somewhere before. You're tied to this land and it's secrets Nenet, Lookie!" Lia said excitedly as she danced from one foot to the other. Here was one of the biggest magical mysteries in history and she had a key in a woman who just happened to walk through the door! Oh how exciting this was! How intriguing! Sure it wouldn't help her in her ultimate goal but it still fascinated the fay child.

Quote:

V glanced at the woman whose hair was almost as blue as her own skin and absently observed she must have arrived after V had gone to bed as she did not seem familiar. Still, being she had earlier been about to accept the job as cook for the duration of her stay before lia wandered off, she decided to greet the woman with a light bow and with a soft 'excuse me' to ark quickly disappeared into the kitchen. When she reappeared about ten minutes later she would return with a freshly cooked version of the meal she had served everyone else, including the granola, fruit, and yogurt 'dessert' on the side. She would place it before the woman and wish her to 'enjoy her meal' before she returned to ark and her own plate.

Naer mumbled something, the elf was asleep, but his arms were around Gisa and he snuggled against that warm body. A look of pure contentment on his face. Truly the elf had never experienced something so thoroughly satisfying as what had just happened. It had exhausted him, but it had been worth it, the sun elf would probably sleep for a little while longer. Comfortable and content, even if he had been awake he would be reluctant to leave such a comfortable place. So very comfortable, laying on the floor as they were in front of the door. Naer didn't care. A bed of spikes would probably comfortable to him right now.

Gisa smiled slightly as the other rested against her, surprised by his passion and intensity. He had not even answered her question with words but a kiss and taken her with far more force and enthusiasm then she would have expected from the occasionally bashful, virginal elf. He had not understood intimacy in the past but somewhere along the line he seemed to have learned quite a bit about it. She slowly disentangled herself from him and using her demonic strength she moved him to one of the beds. She lay next to him then, similarly exhausted even if she was too busy thinking to sleep. She was still afraid she had made the wrong choice but she couldn't stop her heart and she knew somehow he'd find the truth even if she refused to say the words simply out of sheer will power. She glanced towards him, whispering her love softly as he slipped before kissing his cheek and snuggling into the bed. She would stay curled up with him as long as he wished to sleep, half dozing herself.

Nenet blinked away the slight spots in her vision, eyes going to Lia as she started muttering and searching through paintings. The one she pulled out had a beautiful landscape on it, with colored lights seeming to float around in it, the predominant color of the lights being the same green. Nenet held a hand out, lightly touching the painting. So the tug she'd always felt was because she was tied to here? She took a deep breath, letting it out in a sigh.

"So I am a part of this land? Or somehow connected to what happened here?" she asked after a moment. Maybe she would finally get the answers she sought.
