I can't view the Menewshan Price Guide when I click the link in the first page? This error appears:

Do people not read back? That question is asked on almost every page. It's like the 'exit' signs in builds. Yet people still ask "Where is the exit?" Even though they had to have come in somehow.

I read but still how long is it too catch up with that task? I mean, there are plenty of moderators and surely there is more than one mod assigned for exchange.... should not be a time frame?

Well Like Tijdon said it would be a lot easier if everything is reported, because everything is not reported the mod have to though threads and trades to gather all the info they need to make it so the prices are fair. I know I don't report all that I sell and buy and I know there is some users that don't as well so I guess that means more hard work for them, plus they also have lives apart for Mene......so yea that's just my part

Most of the moderators who work the Exchange have been busy IRL/sick/etc. Not every staff member of Menewsha enjoys working in the Exchange. And not everyone who is willing to moderate the Exchange feels comfortable updating prices.

You obviously have not tried to update a guide with 3 years worth of Monthly, Event, and NPC items. :lol: It's a real pain in the dick, kind of like passing a kidney stone. It is an all day event of number crunching, cigarettes, note making, beer drinking to get rid of the headache.

We should have a marketplace!
So its easier to find items than just looking for them over the forums! and its better than seelling 50% of the item you sell back! A marketplace should be easier.

You don't have to sell items at 50% back to the shops.
Users are completely willing to pay ~75% on commons in the exchange.

Yes, a market place is a good idea and it's something we've had our eyes on putting into effect for awhile now. We are working toward a marketplace of some kind at some point, but at the moment there are other great things coming out in Menewsha's future. So just know it's on our very vast "To do" list.

Also: I am working on updating the Priceguide...There's a nifty new section in the guide you all should take a looksie at. You'll know it when you see it!

Can't believe it sold for 1,800 gold..

I know! But that is the lowest price we recorded that wasn't a "friend giving a discount" price...Seems crazy low huh! Once we get more hard sales, we can put a more grounded price on it...At the moment, there are really only 5 recorded sales though, and the price range, as you can see, is huge...I personally think the higher end is more realistic for that item considering how rare the new MIs are...

What? How does that make any sense. There is a trade option. It is used to buy and sell from other users. Why would you not do this with commons too?

Marketplace are for the lazy, inactive, or non-market people. =/ In no way will a marketplace be an automatic 'sell for higher' on items.

WEll i say a marketplace would be easier than trading, looking for items in the forums and selling it back! Andif you dont want to sell your items in the "marketplace"[if we do have one later in the future] then you dont have to. im just saying...a marketplace would be better.

Meh, the marketplace would be easier, not necessary better in my opinion.
