Haha, well being animated is okay so long as you know when to be serious. I'd say you have a good handle on it.

Lmao! What did you guys barbeque?
I really need to get more practice with taking pictures of the moon...

It went well. They were impressed with my knowledge about the place and stuff. But someone else got the job because they had more experience.

@DD: Not innately. From a recipe. I did some one year for Tsukimi and they were pretty good.
I wanted to try a different one this time though.

o wo Thanks. I'm so awkward around people who aren't as animated as me though. I never know how to act around people who are (mostly) expressionless or all stern-faced. x Ax;;

Mostly beef for me, though my friends had a lot of fish, pork, and animal organs like chicken heart or chicken intestines. xDD Roasted onions are also really tasty. <33
Though by smoke I meant like, we can't go anywhere without the scent of barbecue wafting about from people barbecuing outside their houses! x ____x;

Aw, dang. D:
I hope you score something next time! :)

Haha, I feel you there. Actually, I'd probably be the stern-faced person. At first anyway.

Mmm barbequed beef and fish and pork and onions.
Maybe I'll get a kebab today...

Thanks!
I'm not too upset by it. The money would have been nice, but keeping my free time is still a plus.

*hides from stern-faced Iku*
Unless the person's rubbing me the wrong way, I tend to be pretty chatty and expressive. Hard to imagine I was so shy as a kid and now I'm all 'Yay! Happiness and hyperactiveness and bouncing around waving my hands! :DDDDD' these days. ;;

Ooh. I'd love to have a kebab. One of those large ones, and not the kind stuck on toothpicks...

lol Yeah, free time. If I didn't ever have to worry about expenses and stuff, I don't think I'd ever get a job. ;;;

I laugh/smile easily though. That is funny to imagine! Since I've mostly pictured you as pretty reserved. I'm more animated and chatty once I've gotten to know someone, but I think I've gotten less hyper as I've gotten older. But who knows~

The one I'm talking about is the bottom-most one.

I didn't know there were kebabs like that until I moved here. I was only familiar with the shish kebab stuff in the States where you put a piece of meat, then a veggie, then meat, etc... Which are also pretty good!

Seriously! I wonder what people would do if they didn't have to work.

Really? What made you think I was all reserved and stuff?
I mean, I'm not a party person, but when I'm with my friends I'm pretty hyper and all over the place.

Ooh, that looks tasty! Yeah, the kebabs I imagined were the shish kebab kind with the meat, veggie, meat, veggie as well...I can't imagine a kebab that's not tasty. Unless they were using bad ingredients and stuff.

Join clubs, play games, etc? I know a lot of people find hobbies and things to do after they retire and stuff.

Just how you behave on here. I've also noticed that you've become more open though so...
I haven't had a close group of friends in a long time, since high school really, so I'm not sure how hyper I would be in that situation anymore.

Seriously.. kebabs are always tasty!

Oh, that's true! A lot take up golfing, I think?

Ah. I guess I'm more reserved with people I don't know well, but then go crazy once they become friends.
The friends I go crazy with are all from high school, though I met one of them initially at a cram school the year before high school...and since we're all kind of weird in our own ways, we fit right in with one another.

lol Golfing's totally not my thing. It's too boring for me...I'd just swing my stick and watch the ball fly off in a random direction. I'd prefer something like...I dunno, hand crafts? Like making wood carvings, or clay, metal, etc...

Yeah. I think that's natural to do. I just don't have friends from back then. XD Not really anyway.

Mini-golf is fun! Or can be. It does get old after too long playing it. Lmao.
Hand crafts are good too! You should try needle felting. 8D

Yeah, I didn't make any close friends until then. Makes me wonder if I have a social problem or something...

I prefer baseball or volleyball. ; I like that feeling of hitting something...with golf, I just keep missing the damn ball! ;;

What's needle felting? ;

Hahah! I don't like much sports really. Tennis is about as close as I get. Or dodgeball.

Needle felting is a craft where you take some wool roving and poke it with a special needle until it forms the shape you want.
Start with this:

Haha, I suck at tennis...tried playing with myself with the wall once, and the ball went everywhere but my racket. >__>; I used to like dodge ball (like, back in elementary school xD), but stopped playing it after a while when I got sick of being bonked everywhere by balls. xDDDD; (getting hit in the head was especially annoying...I think I've mentioned before that my head is like a magnet for a variety of balls -_-)

Oh wow! That's so cool!! O___O How do they do that?!

Here's a video showing how needle felting works.

Re tennis: Omg! XDD poor Nim. I don't like playing against a wall for some reason. I tried playing wally-ball once (like volleyball except indoors in a big room), but nope nope nope. Damn thing hurts my hands. XD I think that's why I don't mind tennis. Because I'm hitting the ball with something other than my hand.

I don't mind hitting a volleyball until my hands are all red and swollen, especially if I'm in a venting mood. I like baseball/softball/T-ball because I get to hit stuff with a bat though.
