I was just wondering what my fellow Mene lovelies were into.
I'm personally just into comedy - gets my mind off of my issues in the real world.
You? :3

My very favorites are horrors. I love being scared out of my wits! My boyfriend likes it too, since I often get to scared to stay by myself so I usually sleep over at his house. *giggles*
After horror, I love cartoons, the childishness always makes me happy.
Then comedy, and then romance. Every once and a while I'll see a chick flick I like but they're few and a far between.

Horror is mind, pure horror. Not that stupid pop-out horror crap. I like deep thinking, wondering about the unknown, being curious about what it to come and why. What did the characters do to deserve such actions against them, is there a spiritual reason? Amazing.

Romantic comedies. Just not those ones that are so corny that no one can really watch them. A certain amount of corniness is okay though.

I'm really into Horror movies, it's fun to be scared even though they don't really scare me. I've just really enjoyed them since I was a little kid, and my parents questioned how I wasn't scared and kept trying to find one that would freak me out. To this day they still think it's odd how I'm not afraid of it, but I'm really into those kinds of things. The more blood and gore the better.

Not sure drama and horror are what I mostly watch. I like old movies a lot and especially old horror movies. It's something about them. Also I'm also a sucker for everything that Gregg Araki has ever done. Yeah I don't mind gore and splatter..

Be careful with watching cartoons after horror movies tho, Me and friends where at a friends brothers place watching a horror movie (the ring I think), and was gonna watch a disney movie after that, we put on the wrong movie though, I have no idea how that happened. But it was one of the brother's porn movies, which was very discusting and odd since we where about 10/11 at the time.

I love horror movies. Especially the sub-categories of thriller and suspense. I love movies that keep me on the edge of my seat, scared to see what is going to happen next. I never get nightmares either :XD I like book-to-movies as well, so I can whine and bitch about how horrible the transformation of it was.

Horror, absolutely. I love every kind from campy monster movies to suspenseful supernatural movies and all the blood and gore in between. I don't care if it's dark and clever or cheap and cheesy; as long as it's not just a big sex-fest, I love it.

I like the good Horror movies..like ones that rely more on creating atmosphere than actually having a monster pop up every other scene. After a while, the shock value declines for me. Also, I hate horror that relies on unnecessary amounts of human torture. =/ That's not horror. That's people enjoying watching other people get tortured to death. I like to be chilled, not disgusted. Lol, a lot of American horror is so predictable, I can tell in the beginning of the movie who will die, how they will die and when they will die. It's pretty sad.
I also love Fantasy. Like...dragons, knights, fairies, princesses, etc. <3 I'm a hopeless romantic, so I like the idea of a handsome prince going out to rescue his kingdom or his princess.
ALSO, I love romance. But it has to be good romance. I'm very picky. I hate stuff that's like SEX SEX AND MORE SEX. That just doesn't roll with me. I like the kind of romance that's more emotional than physical. D: And I have to like the characters, or I won't enjoy the romance.
And finally, I don't know if it's a genre, but I like darker movies. Like Sweeney Todd. I love Sweeney Todd. Or like Silence of the lambs. <3 And anything by Stephen King. Except It. I hate clowns.

I like comedies, romantic comedies, and adventure movies! I think I would have liked action as well, but when I watched Bourne Ultimatum, I got a headache from the constant scene switching, so that kind of ruined it for me. I also would say I like drama or plain romance, but I've never really watched those before. Anything with a decent-to-good plot and some punch lines here and there are fine by me. :3
Ooh, and musicals are always fun when it's not High School Musical. ><

Well Broadway does have movie crossovers and vice versa, but whether it's a genre, I'm not sure...
But I agree. Broadway (well, live Broadway at least) is epic like nothing else.

I absolutely LOVE horror movies, I think it's mainly because I was raised on them ^.^
I hate chick flick even though I am a chick, I just find them to mushy and gross >.<
My second favourite genre of movie is cartoons xD I'm really immature that way and my mum doesn't get why a 17 year old would want to watch a little kids movie xD
