How are you today?

A little sleepy. XD; I got at least eight hours of sleep and have been sleepy since I woke up. So it's either pollen or the weather trying to fool me into believing I need to go back to bed. XD

Ah. I've been tired all day. orz
I blame the weekend.

I love them both so much!
I really love how the Tortall world seems so huge, and all the characters connect in some way.
And the Circle of Magic series is awesome, because it's based around four characters and how they're connected through their magic.
I loved how they could talk to each other through their minds.

Both of the series are really amazing and complex~ >w<

But seeing as Tortall series was the first I read, and the idea of Immortals and all that made me inspired to write stories~
And make Immortals of my own. x'D
I think I might prefer the Tortall series. :3

Not really. I've pretty much just been sitting at the computer trying to write but failing to concentrate on anything. orz I hate weekends. They always make me feel so drained.

@Hadsvich - Aaah. XD She inspired you to write too? XD We're part of a club then, I think. XD
Yeah - I like that you get to explore more of the Tortall Universe's world in those stories and visit its past and present and "grow towards" its future.
The fact that it's based heavily on the real world's customs and histories and places/cultures makes it even better for me. I mean - it definitely is its own place and fantastically interesting. But I can look at it and go, "This is based on ___." and sometimes makes me more interested in that actual thing. XD

Circle of Magic is awesome and I think it's neat that she's gone off and explored "fantasy" even further and tried to distance herself from things more based on the real world, but since you're sort of "stuck" with the main four characters and what is possible for them to explore and experience and know of, it seems a bit more limited, in a way. I very much look forward to reading the rest of the series that's released so far - and the ones she's working on now... But Tortall books are my favorite. >3<

@Meilin - Aww... :x I know what you mean about writer's block... I know that oddly I would be more productive writing when I had more going on. I guess because I needed the "escape" into my written universe more than when I had a weekend or whatever to relax. :B

Maybe because the rest of your week seems to have a lot going on, Meilin? Some people find the lack of things to do draining rather than rejuvenating.
