“Don’t resist, hands behind your back.”

The woman (Phaedra) was poised to act at a moments notice, but her coldness seemed to come only due to the fact that she was in charge of the situation. Who was to say that she wouldn't have been a whimpering soul if the roles were reversed? Andy smiled at the blonde-haired woman before complying.

"Alright, alright. You don't have to tell me twice," he said.

There was no irritation in his voice and instead a calculated coldness that hadn't been there previously. He was biding his time until he could be taken to wherever Doctor Lum wanted. The more of the facility they were able to explore the better because he could look for a possible escape route if not the backpack where he kept all of his weapons. They were smart in that he had to go through a metal detector before entry on the plane so he could only bring a few, small trinkets but dumb in thinking that it wouldn't be enough to escape if need be. He glanced at June who was taken aback at the situation, backing into the corner of her cell and he sighed.

Wait, just wait.

In almost no time at all, everyone was properly secured and being escorted away from the cages. As they walked down the beaten dirt path to god knows where, Xavi found herself grinning from ear-to-ear. It was so much fun to be a part of the action, to say that she had a vital role in the survival of all these poor sitting ducks. They truly were Dr. Lum's lab rats, none knowing just yet what their DNA had in store for them.

When finally upon the large, stone castle, Nisha instructed that the binds be removed so that the prisoners could feast their eyes upon their new home. Uncuffed and allowed to roam free (yes, it was an illusion), Nisha whirled around to address her gathering.

"You're free to wander about the grounds as you see fit. Note that if you do try to escape, you will be met by the giant electric fence." It was making sense. There was a faint buzzing sound before the unlatching of something while the crew moved to their new location. Clearly, the passed through a gate and that gate contained a current. How strong was it? Well, it must have been enough to force Nisha and her posse to wear stock-resistant gloves. Why, even Xavi, Phaedra, and Nazo were wearing these hefty, white gloves with gray rubber palms and padding.

"Our fences are reinforced by sentries," she continued. Again, a sound for their silent blind-folded walk made sense. There was a mechanized clicking noise following by a moaning swoosh sound. The faint cocking of a gun, or engaging a bullet into the chamber, was also heard along their not-so-pleasant stroll.

"Your powers, whatever they may be, won't aid you in escaping. You've each got an anklet on," Nisha watched as the kiddies all looked at their feet, "that alerts our systems to your presence. If you try to attack our systems, they will deflect and kill on cue. Moral of the story? Don't fuck with us and we might not kill you."

Xavi stepped up behind Nisha, as if rehearsed and on cue. "Agent Hawkeye here will give you a demonstration." A bow was produced from behind one of the other soldiers. Plopped in Xavi's hands, the woman laced up an arrow and pulled it back. Only, before she released, Nisha pointed at a small ban on the arrow's stem. With Nisha's hand moving away, Xavi released the arrow.

It glided flawlessly through the air and headed straight for the sentry nearest the crew. In seconds, the band blinked a violent red color and the sentry clicked and groaned into action. Bullet after bullet rained down on the feeble arrow, instantly killing its target in seconds. As the arrow fell from its path and rest in the grass, eyes were brought back on Nisha and "Hawkeye."

"Nicely done, Hawkeye." Nisha nodded and Xavi stepped away. "Now, do we make ourselves cle-" the sound of throat clearing deterred her. "Oh, I almost forgot. Hawkeye here is a trained marksmen. She never misses her target. If you do manage to get away from here, she will hunt you down. And she will kill you."

Xavi nodded in approval, allowing Nisha to continue on with her wrap up. "Now, without further ado, allow me to introduce, Dr. Lum!" Parting from where she stood, Nisha's body gave way to the emptiness behind her. As brows furrowed, the woman laughed. "I am Dr. Nisha Lum." Her fingers snapped, which caused Xavi to move behind the woman. "Hawkeye, why don't you take these kiddies to their chambers."

'As you wish, Doctor." Heels clicking together, Xavi tucked her bow over her shoulder and beckoned the prisoners to march along behind her. With each step, she lead them closer to the stone castle that looked hundreds of years old. Dragon archways and dragon stained glass windows gave the illusion that Dr. Lum was a dragon fan. Little did they know the truth of it all and the secrets that laid within the castle.

Now inside the castle, Xavi stopped to show off the main lobby. "To your left are the dining halls and kitchen areas. To the right, the conservatory and labs. Up are the bedrooms. Down are more labs and dungeon."

If anyone tried to move or escape, she would pull out her bow and ready it on the escapee. Of course, that grew old and in time everyone just learned to comply. Up the stairs they went to what seemed to be an endless row of rooms upon rooms. "Bathrooms, living rooms, game rooms, libraries, offices -- you name it, it's probably up here. This is what we like to call the 'living quarters.' You can each pick your own room. Rooms that don't have closed doors are free for claiming. Those that are closed belong to whose name resides on the door."

Resting up against the door that said "Hawkeye," the woman sighed. "Any questions. If not, you'll find suits in your room. Change into them and then meet me in the main lobby. We've work to do before dinner then bed."

Maxim didn't resist Nazo and accepted the binding. Then he walked with the rest of them to the courtyard for that wonderful demostration. He didn't speak up about any of it, mainly cause he didn't see the need. He was just thinking about possible flaws in there defenses. He couldn't find any- yet.

After they were walked into the castle and up to the rooms, Maxim was shocked. They shoved them in cages with dirt floors when they could have just seet them up here. It would have been far less shocking and he (at least) wouldn't have been so pissed off about being captured. The rooms were nice enough and they at least had a bed.

He walked to one of the nameless doors and entered it. "Claimed!" As he entered he saw the uniform layed out and quickly shut the door and changed. He sat on the matress and waited to see if any of the others wanted to talk to him.

Madison listened closely to the instructions give by Xavi and the Doctor. Although she was grateful not to be stuck in the cage any longer, she was curious as to why they were moved from the cages to the castle. Was it because of the others' stubbornness, or was it to do more testing on her and the others. Maybe both?

She couldn't help but be happy with the new arrangement of rooms. And now that they had free roam, it would be easier to find some flaws in the castle. Maybe. 'Hawkeye' was a little frightening in this state though, and they seemed to have prepared for a long time. Or had this happened before? It felt like she had more questions than answers after all of this.

Maxim claimed the first room. Madison picked a room near his and claimed it. She quickly changed into the suit given to her. They were supposed to meet after they changed, but Maddie slipped out and knocked on Maxim's door. She wanted to get a chance to talk to him before who knows what they had planned happened. He was the only one who seemed to have a clue. And she wanted someone who would help her out. "Hey, can I come in?"

Odessa quickly put her hairpin back into her hair before backing towards the back of her cage. Her eyes scanning over the faces Nisha, Xavi and the men who had entered the room. It was hard for her not to resist or try to fight back as one of the men opened the door to her cage. She did resist a little when he went to tie her hands behind her back which caused him to get rough with her. A low growl came from her when the tie dug into her wrists.

Once they had been lead to who knows where, they were released from their bonds. The woman rubbed her wrists as she listened to the mad doctor. Free, yeah right. We aren’t free unless we are out of this place. She took in all that the woman had to say, watching the demonstrations from Xavi. There had to be a flaw somewhere. One just needed to observe and think.

Reluctantly she followed with the others as Xavi lead them to what was to be their new home. Odessa had to admit that living within a castle was kind of cool, but not when living there as a prisoner. The tour was short and they finally arrived where their rooms were.

It seemed some of the others wasted no time in picking their rooms. The woman’s golden eyes meet briefly with that of Xavi’s. Without a word she moved down the hallway away from the others. About halfway down the hall she found an empty room. This one would do.

Odessa disappeared inside, closing the door behind her. Just as the woman had said there was a suit laid out waiting for her. With a sigh she changed into the suit. If only she could just hide away here. Be left alone to think and try to make sense of everything.

Sitting on the bed she rubbed her wrist, there was thin line of blood around her right wrist where the tie had bit into it. Her thoughts drifted to the man who had be shocked. She wondered how he was doing now. The woman shook her head. “Stop worrying about others girl…just worry about yourself right now. If you don’t keep a level head you just might lose it.”

For right now she was content with sitting here. Not going to the main lobby right away wouldn’t hurt. Maybe one of the others would come chat with her? Somehow she doubted it since a few of them disapproved of her way of thinking.

Reiko stood down and a guard came and bound her hands and put a sack over her head. She twisted her arms for a bit to see how loose it was, and the guard zipped it tighter. Fuck, she shouldn't have done that.

Reiko walked in the dark for a bit and the light blinded her for a bit when the sack came off. The ziptie was cut, and her hands were free. She took in the sights, a bit skeptical, and watched the presentation. Maybe Xavi had a weakness. ...Doctor Nisha Lum?? It was the perfect disguise and perfect way to get to know your prey. Act as someone else and say you're giving the orders. Oh, that bitch had another thing coming. She went inside with everyone else, and looked at Merrimack. She wondered if he was okay. She listened to the tour and when it was over, she walked over to Merrimack. "Are you okay? What they did was unnecessary. I know we'll be out of here soon." She stroked his cheek with the back of her hand, showing support. She looked at Ael and flashed him a smile. She liked Ael, but was worried about everyone's survival. She went and claimed a room, and took in the surroundings. She noted a suit on the bed. It seemed...tacky. But she had to do what they said in order to survive. She changed into the suit reluctantly.

Maxim was in his room for a few minutes until one of the girls knocked on his door. He couldn't really remember catching her name, but he only really interacted with a few of the group anyway. He looked up at her and ushered her in.

"Sure come on in." he said. He noticed his suit's elbows were tearing so he poked his spikes through the suit. These things were going to be hard to get used to. He looked at the girl who had entered and said, "I don't believe we've been properly introduced. The name's Maxim Zharkov. What's your's?"

He smiled and waited for her reply.

Everything seemed pointless up until that silver prong came out of nowhere. The taser did its work and Merrimack fell silent. Locked in his mind, he raced over everything. He would figure out a way to escape. Each second that passed let him wander deeper into his mind. It was truly amazing, he started to realize. Never before had he been able to pick and pull memories and data this quickly. Was it the electrical current? Or was it something else?

A vision popped into his mind. He saw himself strapped to a table. Nisha was standing over him. Something was forced into his arm. A woman behind her (he recognized her as Xavi) collected the needle and tossed it aside. Words were uttered and the masked woman laughed.

Before he knew it, he was coming to. "Ael?" his foggy vision soon cleared as he looked to his brother, who was kindly holding him upright.

Falling silent when he realized Nisha, no Dr. Lum spoke, Merrimack had to fight the urge to try to kill her. He knew better though, something about Xavi's eyes frightened him. They were so strange looking right then and there, large and all-seeing. With a shudder, he followed in silence as the pack moved into the castle.

Once they were finally free, Reiko seemed to be the first to really check on him.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm used to this kind of stuff," he tried to smile but it still hurt to move. It was true, he often played with electronics and found himself getting zapped. Ael, thankfully still there, caught the shorter male and walked along with Reiko to find rooms.

"Wanna share, brother?" He asked the raven.

There was a light head nod, as they stepped past Reiko's room and found an empty room with two beds.

Ael undressed his brother and helped him get into the suit. The blonde worked on himself and they eventually left to go look for someone else to chat with.

"Want to check on that girl?"

"Sure," Merrimack tried to smile again. It was really useless.

Ael, seemingly idiotic for a moment, got up and sought out Reiko. He just so happened to forget Merrimack. It wasn't a terrible thing though, for the male just kicked back on the bed and groaned. "Why did I have to be tased."

A knock came to Reiko's door and, gingerly opened it. "Hey," Ael poked his head in to see Reiko. "How are you holding up?"

Meanwhile, Merrimack decided the lazy lounging wasn't his style so he forced himself up and out. Best to walk it out, right? Using the wall as a prop, he moved down the hall until he came across a door that wasn't closed completely. In a not-so-graceful fall, he toppled into someone's room. Face kissing the floor, he moaned.

"Home invasion?" he tried to joke. Pushing himself up, Merrimack found himself starting up at Odessa. "Well," he finally found a smile, "at least you're not naked. Suppose this could be worse."

Reiko had only the suit to her waist and was sticking one arm through the sleeve when she heard the knock. She whirled around and quickly finished putting the suit on, zipping it up. She heard Ael's voice and she turned around, pulling her hair from the suit. "Oh, I'm holding up well. How's your brother?" Just then, she heard a thud. She pushed past Ael and looked into the hall. She surveyed the hall quickly, and noticed Merrimack had fallen into a room. "Oh my Gods!" She ran to him and struggled to pull him to his feet. "Someone should be with you until you are better." She motioned to Ael. "Come, we'll stay with him until he's better."

She looked up and noticed Odessa. "Sorry for the intrusion. Suppose there's a better way to introduce oneself?" she said lightly. She chuckled. "Well, we wouldn't know all of these different people unless this happened. Oh, Fate. What have you in store for us?"

Nazo kept mostly to himself after they got out of there. Walking along, he listend only half heartidly to the woman speaking. Right now, was more of his time. Knowledge was power, and as they moved, Nazo was taking in a lot of information. As he had done within his cell, it barley looked like he was looking around or paying attention at all. He was once more messing with a bit of hair by his ear. As they moved however, he took in everything. They were directed to rooms, to change and prepare for what laid ahead. His eyes followed still what had happened with the demonstration of the fence.

They would be killed if they tried to escape eh? He had little intrest of going anywhere at the moment anyways. He lifted his thumb to his lips to chew on it once more, but glanced at the still slightly fresh wound of not long ago, and thought better of it. Others were moving off to find rooms, and his eyes moved to one that seemed to be unoccupied. He moved to the door, glancing at the handle for a moment. He still heard the various sounds of the other moving about and reacting to what was going on. Slipping in, he closed the door. Silence. That was what greeted him, and that made him happy. An empty room, which in moments he had memorized within his head.

The layout was pretty basic, so it was indeed easy to memorize. He moved to the bed, his eyes falling on the suit the other had mentioned was there to change into. It was not bad, so it would do. He glanced at himself in the mirror and frowned. What a mess....He stared at himself in the glass. He hated being a mess. Turning, he undid his shirt and then pants, before changing out of his clothes into what was prepared. No sense in wasting time or arguing. He ran through what he had learned so far. Seemed Lum and this Xavi woman were in charge. All of them were prisoners, some smarter than others. That Maxim guy was a fool...Reiko was bold but very naive...the other female who seemed to have gained this Xavi woman's attention besides him was one with a darker edge.

He smiled lightly, so many different people to play with indeed. He was curious and excited, that his mind was already beginning to run through senarios of what was might happen. He bit his lip now, since his thumb had been injured. It was quite the interesting topic to think about. He doubted any of the others would attempt to approach him. Their minds would only see him as insignificant or creepy. Perhaps only a quiet child who was not a threat. He chuckled, a darker glint forming within his eyes. Underestimating him would succeed in being their undoing. But like with any game, one would not be so quick to show their hand. For now he would be silent and patient, learning and watching for the perfect moments and opportinities. He was interested to see where this little game would go.

Sitting on the bed the woman let herself get lost in thought. She was pulled from them when she heard the click of the door opening and a man falling into her room. “Watch out,” she semi-shouted as she jumped up and tried to catch him. Unfortunately Odessa wasn’t quick enough and he ended up landing on the floor.

“Apparently,” she laughed lightly at his bad joke. Odessa nodded slightly in agreement with his statement as she moved to help Merrimack to his feet. Apparently her help wasn’t needed though as Reiko had come running into the room to help the man. “She’s right. If you refuse to rest, you at least to be with someone until you are better.” Her golden eyes moved from Reiko to Merrimack.

She gave the woman a smile. “Not your fault. It’s the stubborn person’s fault,” she said chuckling lightly as she referred to Merrimack. “This way is just fine. After all it’s not every day that some random handsome guy falls into your room.” Odessa gave him a wink before turning her attention back to the woman.

“Though you’re referring to this whole situation.” She raised a finger to her lips and tapped them lightly. “That is true. Things have gotten quite strange, but sometimes strange is a good thing.” There was a bright smile on her face. Ok maybe she was starting to enjoy this situation a bit more than she should be right now. Everything has its course though and she was going to make the best of things even if they looked bleak. “No one ever really knows what the game of life has in store. We just need to keep pushing forward and make our own way. Make the best out of whatever situations we are tossed into.”

Odessa laughed at herself. “Hehe, sorry about that. I’m just so use to saying what I think. Anyway, I’m Odessa Rose Santos. It’s nice to meet you, even if the circumstances aren’t normal and aren’t the best.” She held her hand out to Reiko, Merrimack and Ael.

"Hey now," Merrimack got a tad riled up at the comment. "I'm not that stubb- wait, did you just call me handsome?"

Ael tried to suppress a giggle. It failed, miserably. Bursting out in a full-on laugh, he lunged forward and wrapped an arm around the shorter male. "I think she was just being nice. Girls don't like shorties, remember."

Before M-Ry could even move to strike, Ael was skipping away and playfully hiding behind Reiko. This, of course, left Merrimack without his support. Hobbling forward, he managed to mask his falling for something of near-grace. Now on the bed, he looked up at the group as they chatted.

Ael was the first to take Odessa's hand. There was something bashful about him, especially around Reiko. Merrimack cocked a brow at this and found it off that Ael was allowed to be a flirt whereas he wasn't. With scoff, his hand reached out to Odessa's.

"Lover boy blondie is Ael. I'm Merrimack."

"Hey now," Ael's toned and pitch matched Merrimack's voice from just moments ago. It was more than obvious that they were brothers, more so as they now laughed at each other.

"That's mine line," Merrimack squinted before pulling his head away in an arrogant gesture.

"Oh, I'm sorry handsome. Didn't mean to steal your catchphrase."

The two laughed again, though the smile faded and so did the laughter.

"Do you think we'll be okay?" Ael's worrisome eyes looked and around. These people seemed nice. He didn't want them getting hurt, especially Reiko. There was just something about her that seemed... unique? She was the first person to really be nice to him. Not to mention, she was as cute as a button.

"Oh quit your cowering, brother. We'll be fine. Like I told you on the day I first learned to talk, I won't let anything happen to you." Leaning closer to Odessa, he pulled up a hand and whispered, "Though I did push him down the stairs once. Blamed it on the cat, but it was really me." He winked and then pulled his hand down to flash a grin at Ael.

"If you say so...."

"Oh come on. Lighten up. We're men. We're supposed to be tough. Do you think Odessa and your girlfriend need us looking all afraid?"

"No, I suppose not."

"Well then, toughen up. Prepare for whatever comes next and don't let your fear, or the facade of fear, cause you to run. Take on whatever causes you nightmares and do all you can to help those in need."

"You make it sound too easy."

"If it were easy, there would be more superheroes in the world."

For being a prison, the area was surprisingly refined, resembling less of a penitentiary and more of a castle. Obviously the inside was minimalistic but comparatively better than the cages they woke up in. The brick walls were Cadmium in color and the floors were crusted with the dirty footprints. The current that all of them passed through? Eerie. It made June feel like she had been splashed with cold water. She took stock of her clothing which now included an anklet to keep her from escaping, frowning in the process. She had dreams about this sort of equipment but it wasn't the same as seeing it in action. The arrow was absolutely demolished. Just like Jenna, she thought, remembering the blond girl from her dream. She had taken advantage of her "free time" to try and outrun the sentry guns but they reduced her to cinders.

"Look I don't know you, she whispered to Andy, "but you don't look scared so-"

"-Wait I'm thinking" Andy cut off as he scanned the area.

"Sorry."

So he was thinking of a way out.

Thinking was perhaps too simple of a term because Andy wasn't simply thinking, but planning. He was observing the timing of the sentry guns and the missile speed of both Hawkeye (although Huntress might have been more appropriate given her corrupted nature). Hawkeye's speed was manageable (although he didn't know much about her accuracy), but the sentries were inhuman. Without his guns he wouldn't stand a chance and even if he did have them, he would have to disable the sensors controlling their defenses. Andy knew that there were more than sentry guns protecting the perimeter of the area (most likely landmines or tripwires) and those weren't as simple as ripping out a remote control or destroying a control room. And then there are the guards, he reminded himself. Doctor Lum was a clever man. Neither he nor Nisha would fall for his tricks no matter what sort of "powers" he might have. It was a secondary concern given that he was a secret agent. No matter what sort of ability he had, he would adapt. He always did.

"So...anything?" June asked.

Before Andy could give the proper answer of "not a damn thing", Doctor Lum approached the crowd to show them around the building. Unexpectedly, dragons decorated the interior from stained-glass windows to arches over the doorway. Whether they were European or Chinese, the depictions added to the eccentricities of Lum and made her wonder if he customized the castle himself. It was one thing to build a fortress for yourself in the name of functionality, but to go to the trouble of marking it meant that you wanted recognition. You wanted to say that this building and these creations (she honestly wasn't sure what exactly they had done to the captives) were credited to you. It was egotistical and disgusting and pitifully human.

He wondered how easily it could have been him instead of Nisha.

When the doctor allowed them to select rooms June couldn't help but laugh when the black and white-haired man (Maxim ran off and claimed a room as his own.

"Glad you have your priorities in order!"

Oh she didn't mean to say that out loud.

There was a silence as the others began to group up, whether it was to share a room or to converse about their conversation, leaving only June and Andy to speak to each other.

"June."

"Andy."

Another pause.

"We won't get out at this rate," he stated.

"So what do you suggest mister big man?" June asked, clearly alluding to something, "mister observe everything and mumble about Tech 9s and knife fighting."

Andy gestured her to move to an empty room.

"I don't know what you're trying to say, but it's useless unless we're able to get more information," he replied, "and more people on board, which includes you."

"I doubt anyone knows more than we do," June shrugged, "we're all in the same boat."

"Yes, but not everyone's belongings were taken away," Andy explained, "one them had a metal belt, another had an entire cache of objects. Useless or not they could come in handy for retrieving what I need. From the looks of things you don't have much that's useful-"

June pulled a party popper from her purse and dropped it in his hand.

"I was planning on using it once we got on this island, but you know how these things go. In any case, if we're going to be doing some gathering we ought to split up. Divide and conquer?"

"Fair enough. I'll talk to the black-haired man. You can talk to the white-haired boy."

Come to think of it, he hadn't heard much from the white-haired one (Nazo) since he was so quiet during the entire debacle. The only thing he knew was that Hawkeye saw something within him, at least enough to let him out. He could be an asset. With that, the two of them exited their room to go after their respective groups.

Andy entered the room of the black-haired man (Merrimack) and put on his usual smile.

"Feeling any better?" Andy asked.

Meanwhile June had the pleasure of trying to find the room of Nazo. Being that everyone was conversing in one form or another she just had to follow the lack of noise and avoid any empty rooms (as there were many of them). He was sitting there, likely thinking in the same way that Andy was, but it came off much more cold, like he was trying to plan a murder.

"Can I stay here?" June asked, "you seem the least irritating out of everyone."

Madison entered, glad that he wasn't busy. She shut the door behind her quietly. "I'm Madison." she said simply, unlike Maxim's more formal introduction. "I have to apologize, but I'd rather not give out my full name here." She noticed something was poking at his sleeves and he fiddled with it for a moment. "Are you alright? Are you hurt or something?" She didn't want to annoy him if he wasn't in good health.

"So, back when we were in the cages, you were the only other person who seemed to show a little....sense." She knew just how terrible she sounded, making her seem better than everyone else. However, in her mind, it was true. "Rushing into escaping isn't a good idea, now more than ever." She figured the others may have been planning something now anyway. "But I do want to get out," she continued, "so I was hoping you would help me. I figured maybe you might have saw something I may have missed when we arrived. Two heads are better than one, right?"

He ackowledged her hesitation about revealing her full name silently, filing it away in case it would come up later, maybe she had something to hide, not that Max didn't have a few monsters under his bed. He noticed her concern for his well being and also filed that fact away. To answer her question, he just showed her. The spiked looked to be made of bone and stuck up about and inch and a half away from his natural elbow. "Nah, I'm fine. This superpower thing's really gonna ruin my tux when I get home though." Not that he actually owned a tux.

"As far as planning to escape, I think that we're gonna need more time. First to understand what theses 'powers' are" He made air quotes as he said "powers""And also to check for weaknesses in the defenses. But we're probably being montitored eaven as we speak so i would keep the escape talk to a minimum. he whispered "Unfortunately I didn't see any such holes. It'll take some time. That being said, I think we should work together. We'll need to join up with some others though, even if you may think them incompetent."

He smiled and put out his hand, sealing the deal as it were. It was then he noticed the protrusions on his left knuckles. Damn there too. How many places are my bones gonna come out?

Nazo looked up at the female as she entered the room. His icy eyes not leaving from her as she moved. She was asking if she could stay, but why? There were so many reasonings behind potentially why, that it was more of a pain to think of them instead of just simply watch and wait. She had called him the least irritating, but that would be a preference of an individual. Many others might see it as the opposite. He said nothing at first, but then tilted his head to the side, admitting his curiosity was perked at this female being here before him.

"Is there something you needed?" he asked, speeking what might have been the most clear and direct sentance that had come out of him so far on this....wherever this was. He waited for her to speak. Either way, she would be revealing more about herself, through her words and her body language. All he would need to do, is watch and listen. As far as that was concerned, he was a master at it. He could sit for hours like a statue, to the point where a few times, people hadd wondered if he had died. He was not so easy to kill off however, for a young male, there was much more to him than met the eye.

Shit those eyes (Nazo) were unnerving. On the outside June remained polite, showing a touch of pleasantness as she sat down on one of the empty beds in the room. She didn't want to appear saccharine after all.

"Does a girl need a reason to stay with a guy for a night or two" she asked...

...before quickly realizing the implications of what she said, "er not what I meant."

Nice save there June you're sure to get the academy award for best actress. Wait where did that come from? June shivered for a second, but tried not to break focus from the white-haired boy.

"It's dangerous here and I think it's just safer if people room together since it means that it's less of a chance of being taken away if you know what I mean," she explained, "everybody's already gotten buddy-buddy with each other and most of them are pretty annoying so that just leaves you I guess."

She laughed off the last part, but given Nazo's statuesque expression she wasn't sure if it would be enough to convince him.

Nazo kept his eyes on the female, typically his gaze was enough to get someone to crack. At times it was as if he never blinked. However, he listened to her words, watching the slight changes in her body language. She was doing well to keep up this guise. He had no intrest in bursting her bubble so soon as their game had begun. He nodded, ignoring the comment of basically being called a last resort. "Verywell" he said, "you may stay if you desire as much." There went the silence of being alone, but at least now he had a subject to probe.

He was curious of her, turning his body on the bed to fully face her now. He crossed his legs, reguarding her with an almost innocent curiosity. "What is your opinion of this place?" he asked, harmless enough question right? She had already hinted that it would be better for them to remain in pairs, and that they could potentially be dragged off. That signaled fear or uncertainty. She was offset by this place, but obviously trying not to show it. Keeping one's composure in the face of stress and danger was an admerable trait indeed.

Perhaps he would be able to find amusement in her, where he had only found naivety and boredum in many of the others so far. Or perhaps he would frind that other woman, one of them anyways and engage them in conversation. There were so many possibilities, so many ideas. He kept his expression perfectly blank, but on the inside, wheels were turning. His mind had already left the other, though his ears were trained on her for the moment. He was already thinking ahead, running through more variables and possible outcomes. This was inticing indeed, it was quite interesting to try and guess what might happen next.

They did not have long to talk though, their evenings had already been planned out for them. So for now, he shifted back to the female within the room with him. He would focus on what her answer was for now, and use it as needed. Any bit of information was good, even speculation and other's feelings. Insight came in some of the most random places at times indeed. He glanced down at his hands, at the small self inflicted puncture on his thumb where he had bitten himself earlier. The suspence and tension were getting to him as well, but not in the way as it had the others. He was not afraid in the slightest, more interested and excited to see what would happen in this game.

After all, what fun was life and a game without a bit of danger to go along with it? He smiled, raising his eyes to the woman before him without a word. Would she agree? Possibly not, from the hints she had already given him. She might think him mad or creepy. That was fine, he was not here to win over the hearts of anyone. He would assist those who caught his intrest, who served his purposes and possibly in the very slim chance...those who managed to form a tie with him. For now though, he was rather indiferent to all, except those two women from before. They had managed to intrigue him a bit.

"Coolness!" June replied, a smile gracing her lips.

His voice remained rather stoic despite turning to face her form and what she perceived to be grudging approval. He didn't seem angry or even wary, but had a stillness about him. He reminded her less of a man and more of a rattlesnake, waiting steadily on his bed. Nothing about him foretold nicety or harmlessness like the other "good ones" that she chose to disregard. Nothing about him really said anything. There were no brand names or patterns on his clothing and no noticeable scars. There were only his eyes. His disturbingly blue eyes that were highlighted by his unnatural (lack of) hair color. At first she regarded them in the same context as the loud, white-haired woman who protested about the change in her eye and hair color, but she wasn't so sure now. Unlike Reiko, his eyes held a piercing quality that would've been written about if this were a bad novel.

You are getting nowhere, the same voice hissed from seemingly nowhere, Andy shouldn't have sent a girl to do a woman's job.

At least this girl will live to see womanhood, June thought mockingly.

Whether the voice was a product of her imagination or something more she didn't know, but for now she would have to simply ignore its insults.

"This place?" she sighed pursing her lip, "it's dangerous. I mean it looks nice, but that just means they put extra care in making sure we don't get out. That Xavi girl wouldn't even let me out of the cage."

She took a second to yawn, showcasing how tired she was before continuing.

"You thought. Didn't that crazy chick let you out? Why didn't you just skedaddle out of there while you had the chance?"

Reiko giggled at the boys' game. Ael ducked behind her and she glanced at him. She watched the verbal battle of wits and smiled. At least they were trying not to worry about their situation; or at least that's what they were showing. She glanced hard at Merrimack when he said "girlfriend." "Woah, trying to set us up?" She giggled. "Well, I wouldn't mind, you sure are attractive~" she purred towards Ael. She looked down at her body. "Does anybody else think these suits are a bit too snug and form fitting?" She tugged at the fabric. It snapped back and she shuddered. She decided she didn't want to wear it anymore. "I'd rather fucking walk around naked." She unzipped the suit and peeled it off of her body. She was left standing in her underwear and didn't care. She kicked the suit aside and scoffed. "Hope you guys don't mind the veiw." She looked up at Ael and felt her face flush. Shit.

She laughed lightly at Merrimack when he seemed to get riled up by her comment. “I may or may not have called you handsome.” Sticks her tongue out at him. Though she was sure that at this point the male was paying more attention to his brother.

Odessa was pleased that these three at least seemed to be friendly. Doing her best she tried not to laugh when Merrimack fell onto her bed. She shook Ael’s hand when he took it. Her eyes moved back and forth between the two males as they talked.

The pair were quite fun to be around. “I have to agree. We will be fine. You just need to stay strong.” She could definitely pick up on the fact that there was something there between Ael and Reiko. When Merrimack leaned closer to her and whispered she giggled slightly. “That’s terrible,” she whispered back, but was grinning at the image in her mind of that happening.

Plops down on the bed beside Merrimack, bouncing and nudging him slightly. She was still grinning, but it faded quickly when he told Ael to lighten up and asking him if she or Reiko needed them looking afraid. Really…was he the type to think that a woman needed a man to protect her? Odessa poked Merrimack with her elbow. “Hun, I assure you. You two can look afraid all you want. I can take care of myself and I’m sure Reiko there can as well.”

Her attention soon turned to Reiko who seemed to be stripping. “Oh I don’t mind at all, but these two might.” Even though Odessa was straight she felt herself blushing slightly at the sight of the other woman in her underwear. Uses her hand to cover Merrimack’s eyes. “Nothing to see here. Wait…should I be covering Ael’s eyes instead,” she laughs.

“These suits are a bit snug. I think Reiko here has the right idea.” Laughs again and winks at the boys and Reiko. “Let’s have a naked party.” Teasingly reaches over to act like she’s going to unzip Merrimack’s suit. It was fun goofing off with the others. If only they could just stay here in this room like this, having fun. Too bad they hadn’t met under better and more normal circumstances she thought to herself.

Abterus had been fallowing behind the group almost the hole time, keeping to himself at the moment it looks like no one had noticed him he realest a yawn as he started rubbing his eyes as he walked into an empty room an sat down on the floor, truthfully he was really scared of what was going on he had no idea what was going on or why it was happening to him. "I don't want to be here its scary" Abterus rubbed the tears from his eyes he knew that he couldn't cry his way out of this but just siting here wasn't doing anything but how could he do anything else he was so young and being strangers, solders and told him that he wasn't going to escape and he had powers who wouldn't be afraid of this even though most of the grownups seemed fine with what was going on.

((Blegh sorry so crappy. Trying to get back into character for this lol))

Silence, it was her middle name. Phaedra led her ‘captive’ along and never uttered a word. In fact she was quite bored and didn’t really pay attention to anything or anyone. She didn’t watch the show of what to do and what not to do. Barely registered Xavi’s marksmanship. A yawn was caught behind her hand as she used the toe of her boot to dig circles in the ground.

One thing she did register was when they told everyone to go inside and to pick a room upstairs. Her long legs ate up the distance between her and the staircase. Quickly she made her way up and picked a room as far away from as many people as she could get.

Her blue eyes studied her sparse room and fell upon the clothing she was suppose to put on. A grimace ran across her face as she stripped down and pulled the ugly thing on. She slipped off her jewelry, leaving her earrings in. Reaching up to her head she pulled off her beany and threw it on the bed. You could now see the intricate braid that ran across her head and fell down her left side.

Phaedra pulled her boots back on and walked back downstairs. Leaning against a wall she watched and waited.
