Hi CrimsonShadow. Help yourself, we have lots of soup here. :)

@Dystopia: My housemates bought a bunch of candy for trick-or-treaters, but they had to hide it away, other wise we would just eat it all before Thursday, lol.

I love either homemade roasted tomato soup or homemade chicken noodle soup. Both are amazing.
As for Halloween, I'm not really dressing up (although I did buy a headband with cat ears. :P), but my daughter is dressing up as a puppy (her choice. :P). :]

How're y'all doing tonight?

The taco soup is really good. It can be made with either chicken or beef.
It can also be as spicy as you like.

Hi LiviInLove, welcome. Homemade soups are the best all around. I had some canned chicken noodle today, and the best part of it was the salt. >_<

@Damia: We've got a slow cooker here, and I have homemade taco seasoning, so I'll have to try it out soon.

@Dys: Haha. I wish I could eat candy right now, but I'm a bit sick, and all the sugar would make it much worse. <pout>

It really is the best - I lucked out with a husband who makes the best homemade chicken noodle soup. :] So good! I've been doing what I can lately to avoid too much salt, but it makes things taste so good!

@Dys: Trust me when I say the candy isn't worth it. I can wait a few days for my candy pigout.

@xuv: Yeeess, chocolate is the beeest.

@Mmm, sounds so tasty. I think salt is my favorite spice of them all. I put it on nearly everything...

Chex: You sound like my mum! She loves salt too! :P
Not in a bad way, but after living with her, I'm doing my best to cut down, my hubs hates it though, he says that whenever I cook, which isn't often, it tastes too bland. xD

Haha. Well, as delicious as salt is, it does overwhelm the flavors of some things. When you get used to eating with less salt, suddenly things like celery stop tasting like crunchy water and start tasting like vegetables with real flavors! :)

I am not sharp with taste.
So I am not sure whether the cook add more salt or less.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get better with moderating how much salt I have. And with that, my husband has no choice.
But I agree with you there, he'll get used to it, he told me he was in this with me, so he doesn't have a right to complain, he agreed! Hahahaha!

Is there such a need in reducing your salt amount?
Health problems?

It's not really any reason in particular, I just want to not have such an intake of sodium.

I saw advertisement on healthy food.
"Less oil, Less salt, Less sugar"

I translate it as "Tasteless food". XD

It's not tasteless, just not what people are used to.

Is it?
*clueless*

I already have bad enough taste buds, so I prefer 'stronger' taste to taste the diffference.

It's true. A lot of foods have way too much extra fat, salt, and sugar added into them. Our bodies love it, so it's addictive, and it makes other food taste bland in comparison.
