I studied abroad in Paris.

I think there are some castles but since the US wasn't a monarchy or anything we don't really have any genuine royalty castles...

That is awesome. What were you studying in Paris?

hummy, do you do much traveling? :) My grandfather was raised in Germany before he came to the USA. I've never been there, myself, though. I'd love to visit.

I agree! USA is definitely left out!

Ohhh! Haha, I don't know, some people go abroad to study art or literature, I guess!

---------- Post added 03-15-2015 at 09:42 AM ----------

I had an art teacher who went to uni in England to study art.
I don't know what the point of that was, though, as she only ended up coming back to the USA to be an art teacher. So...

I had an art class and literature class but I was mostly there to learn the language.

Were your art and literature classes in French as well? (Sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm just curious!)
It makes sense that you'd be in France to learn French.

How long were you in France?
That is so neat. :D French is a lovely language, I wish I could understand it!

I'd love to travel one of these days... There are so many places on Earth I'd love to see!

That's a long time!
Do you plan on going back to France some day?

(I'm an awful conversationalist. Excuse me, haha)

Mashed potatoes are always good!
But I love potatoes any way. Except gratin! And with no gravy, I hate gravy!

;___; I absolutely love gravy. The last time I had some, I drowned my plate in it.
