Half-sunken Boat

You approach the half-sunken boat with treasure on your mind. Inside you spot a bundle wrapped in moldy cloth and tied with frayed rope. You pause for a moment, debating whether you actually want to know what's inside that thing, but feel like you might as well -- you've come this far, after all! Working the rope loose, you gently unwrap a small cache of pirate swords. Looks like there's enough for your whole group!

Soft Soil

Moments after you begin your way around the soft soil, you can tell that something's not right. Your feet are sticking and it's getting harder to walk. Then you realize this isn't "soft sand" at all -- it's QUICKSAND!! Convinced this is the end, you panic royally, flailing and shouting until your friends are able to pull you up out of the muck. You seem to have acquired some extra cloth down there in the form of a cloak - bet it'll clean up nice.

Oddly Shaped Rock

Even though that thing clearly looks like a skull and skulls are bad, you decide to go for it. There's an odd coin where the nose hole is -- you slowly take it out, waiting for any Indiana-Jonesy traps to go off, and are relieved when nothing happens. Tucked in the cubby that makes what looks like the right eye socket of the giant skull rock, your fingers brush against something dry and leafy. Something feels off though and you grasp the edges and pull it out, careful not to rip it. It's a weathered and folded piece of paper. Unfolding it, your eyes bug out as you find yourself staring at a map... we'll have to take this to Lance right away!

Cave Waters

Something glitters in the sandy bottom of the cave. Holding your breath and taking the plunge you dive into the cool cave waters. Your fingers drag through the sand, taking in smooth cold discs. As you surface you are pleased to see that all that glitters is gold (at least in your case)!

Rock Slide

You're feeling bold, so you decide to tackle the rock slide. It's going well despite the fact that many of the rocks are loose, until you get about halfway up and spot a bit of chain in the rock. You lean a little too far trying to grab it and start to feel yourself slipping. Once your fingers connect with the chain, you're history. "Of course this would happen!" you groan to yourself just as you fall flat on your back and slip down into the water. The impact knocks the wind out of you, and your first breath is half pond so you're coughing and sputtering and choking your way crawling to the shore. Finally hacking up the last of the water from your lungs, you're soaking wet and your lips have turned blue but you're darn proud that you've managed to hang onto the shell necklace that you fell for.

Cave Ceiling

In order to fully examine the cave ceiling, you decide, you're going to need a source of light. Luckily there's a fair amount of wood in the cave, and you're pretty sure you know how to make a fire using friction. You spend the better part of an hour trying to get a spark -- it's so difficult, but you finally manage to ignite a bundle of sticks into a makeshift torch. You're so proud of yourself that you give up on the cave ceiling -- you just made fire, man!

More Trees

Wow, on a deserted island who would have thought that there would be more trees to search? Yet you decide to take a peek anyways. It's very dark, but you think you see the glint of light filtering in. You keep looking thinking something must be in here, and it seems you're right because something is looking at you. Lots of somethings, scattered around the trees you see more and more sets of eyes watching you. And as you cautiously head back out, you know you will always feel that sensation of being watched.
