Your shirt looks lovely, bsw! And that's a fun quilt. :)
I've been too busy to do much crafting for a while now, but I'm working on crocheting some little mary jane slippers for myself. Just got some buttons for those - maybe I'll finish them tonight. If it goes well I'm hoping to whip some up for my sisters and the moms/grandma for xmas.
How is everyone else doing? Got holiday giftmaking underway? :)
Finished the slipper thingers! No pattern this time, just tried to copy a photo, so they turned out pretty good considering. Next pair I'll aim for a less square toe, because it's a little roomy by the pinky toe. Also need to cinch in the side edges just a wee bit more when I do the accent at the end.
1. Fashioned an upgrade to my business card holder!
Future Projects
1. Charcoal sketch of cute animals (to serve as a present).
2. 3-D printed item (to serve as a present).
3. 3-D printed item with a logo at the bottom (to serve as a present).
4. Makeshift cradle for my friend's stuffed animals.
5. Clever Christmas card for a friend.

Updates
11/22/14 - Finished the upgrade to my business card holder!
EDIT: So I don't remember the exact dates, but I actually did complete the makeshift cradle for my friend's stuffed animals, as well as the clever Christmas card! Hooray!
oh yay! another person joining the challenge! thats awesome!
oh and you have a 3-D printer!!! thats so exciting! i was thinking of getting one because i wanna make my own shoes and what i want to make i cant do with fabric. how big is yours? how much did you pay? where did you get it?
also, i just spent 3 hours sewing on a dress.... and its not done
just so you guys know, i am aiming to have this dress finished on by friday so i can wear it friday. not sure im going to do it, but im going to try. just have to sew on the ruffles, sew the skirt together, sew the skirt to the top and attach the zipper and straps. probably another 3 hours and it'll be done.
Sorry, things have been pretty busy at work, but good news, is I am done with the craft challenge (though I still have one more to work on before x-mas).
I really like that christmas dress that you made bsw! Looks really cute!
I'll have to try to get some pictures posted (gotta get them off the phone first :P )
theoretically i met my quota if you include the wine bottle labels. which i made in photoshop and then printed and cut and stuck to the bottles, but i think im going to only count that as one (when i get the pictures up) because i did like 15 give or take and i feel like its kinda cheating as it was all really the same kind of thing. also they were really fast and easy. thinking them up took more time then doing.
but congratulations to both of you for making your quotas!
Did get that no sew throw done. woo hoo! And just in time for x-mas. ^-^;;
Good news is I've already got some projects lined up for next year. So many people are having babies in april/may. So i've got to make some stuffed animals and at least one blanket. Oy vey. It's going to be a busy few months, lol.
I'd really like to get back into my sewing projects this year. I have so many things in my sewing box that just need a bit of mending to get back into my closet! Once I get some of that stuff taken care of, then I'll feel able to tackle bigger projects. I'd love to make some cosplay outfits this year. Kim from Dresdon Codak, The Scythian from Sword&Sworcery, and Red from Transistor.
BSW, even if you don't meet your challenge quota, I think all the work you've done this past year is great! You've made so many cute things! I particularly like your black lace-trimmed shirt.
