"You too," Jesse said. "Thanks for all the help." With that, he headed out the door and vanished, popping away to start wandering again.

"Well," Dean said into the momentary silence, "now that things are back to as normal as they get for us, should we start looking for a hunt?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," Runa said, nodding. Sam nodded as well, pouring himself some more coffee.

"It'll be something to do, at least," he commented.

Dean nodded and went to go dig out the laptop and start looking stuff up. Kyra glanced at Sam before she finished off her own cup of coffee and started on dishes.

They ended up staying at the motel near Bobby's place for another day or two. Things were quiet, right up until Dean's personal cell phone went off. Runa knew that was odd; just about everyone who had Dean's personal number were right there.

Dean frowned but answered his phone after the second ring. "Yeah?" he said, glancing around. Everyone else looked just as puzzled as him. Well, that wasn't so bad, so far.

"Da--Dean?" the voice on the other end said. "It's-- it's Ben."

"Ben?" Dean asked, sounding startled. "What's going on, kid? I thought you didn't have my number anymore." Because if Ben was calling him, it had to be serious.

"I didn't have your number, before," Ben admitted. "I went through Mom's old cell phone. Listen, there's something going on. I don't think Mom remembers you, I think I didn't remember either, until now, which is weird, but these guys have been hanging around lately and something about them gives me the creeps." He was quiet for a moment. "I know you think I didn't notice all those weird habits you have, but I did, and I don't think putting salt on the windows and doors is going to keep these guys out if they try to come in, and I think they might. They aren't normal weirdos. I didn't know who else to call."

"Okay." Dean scrubbed briefly at his face. "Okay. If you think it'll help, do it. Where are you two living now? I'll get there as soon as I can." There were so many things wrong with this situation, and he wanted to make sure they were both okay.

"Mom moved us out to the Midwest," Ben replied. "I'll text you the address. If the salt doesn't work, what else should I do?"

"There isn't too much you can do that I can tell you over the phone, kid," Dean said. "Put down the salt lines first, if you can, spray paint a symbol in front of the doors. I'll send you a picture so you have a reference. Don't go outside, don't let them in. If you have anything iron in the house, grab it. A poker, or something."

"Got it," Ben said. He hesitated. "I get that you didn't want us to remember you. I'll ask why later. For now, what should I tell Mom if the shit hits the fan?"

Dean sighed. "I'm not sure. Make something up. I should be there in a few hours." Fortunately they were close enough that if he gunned it, he'd make it.

"Alright. Thanks, D--Dean," Ben replied. "I'll do what I can."

"Good." Dean hung up and send him a picture of a devil's trap before he grabbed a few things and headed out to his car. "Sammy! We need to get going!"

"What's going on?" Sam asked, following Dean outside. "Who was on the phone?"

"Ben," Dean said, checking the stash in the trunk. "He says there are some guys hanging out in his area, seem like our kind of trouble."

"Ben?" Sam asked, trying to place the name. "Wait, Ben, Lisa's son? I thought you asked Cas to wipe their memories of you."

"I did," Dean growled. "Lisa doesn't remember, that's why Ben called. He said he knows he shouldn't remember, but he does. Is this really important right now? He called, he needs help, we need to go."

"Okay, relax," Sam said, holding up his hands. "Let's go. Are we taking the others, or letting them follow?"
