" Just a little bit tired. No need to worry too much about me. " Peggy said. " Would you like to eat in the dining room or on the patio? Usually during visiting hours the kitchen staff does bring the food to the patio. "

Steve nodded, knowing how independent she was in the past, and it wouldn't surprise him in the least if she still had that trait. That didn't mean he was still concerned for her though. "I think lunch on the patio would be a great idea," he responded.

Andrea held the door open for her grandma and Captain Rogers. " That does sound nice." Andrea said and decided she would be the one the order the lunches. She had a Feeling it would be good to let her grandma and Captain Rogers have some time to catch up while she was away.

"Thank you, Ms. Andrea," Steve said before both Peggy and himself entered the outdoor patio area. He noticed that the view was nice, and was silently glad that Andrea had left them to have some time to themselves.

Andrea went to the cafeteria and ordered three of the lunch special not sure really what Captain Rogers wanted. But figured a chicken sandwich with fries and carrots would be fine.


" How are you adjusting?" Peggy asked once Andrea had left to order their lunch. She was concerned that Steve wasn't adjusting well to how things were in 2013 compared to the 1940's.

Steve grinned lightly, touched at her concern. "Thank you for asking. I'm doing quite well, thanks to Tony and Nick. Though I can't believe Tony is the son of that man," Steve said as he remembered Tony's father...and how Tony was nothing like him.

" Tony is a good man. He just expresses things in a different way. Harold changed when he wasn't able to find you in the ocean. He didn't want to accept that he couldn't find you and became more involved with the war effort. " Peggy said sadly. She had tried to bury herself in her missions but had realized that was no way to live. " I'm glad you are doing well. Have you met Agent Coulson?" She asked not sure if Steve knew about Phil being alive.

"He's alive? But he died fighting Thor's crazy half brother, didn't he?" Steve asked.

" That's what I thought. Unless he did die and the doctors SHIELD has on staff were able to revive him. Who knows what sort of technology they have these days." Peggy said who had heard about the death but had been surprised that there had been no funeral.

"Who knows. And with what I've seen, it honestly doesn't surprise me," Steve replied, sighing softly.

" Doesn't surprise me either." Peggy said feeling sad. She had heard of agents faking thier deaths in order to avoid the enemy from finding then and remembered her son's body had never been found in that plane wreckage. She shook that thought away knowing Roger would have never done a thing like that to his family.

"Peggy?" Steve asked as he saw a light tear run down her face.

" I'm alright. Been thinking about my son and his wife a lot lately. It's been hard the last 8 years for Andrea and I hate to to think she'll be alone once I'm gone. " Peggy said.

"I may not be related to her by blood or anything, but I wouldn't mind keeping an eye on her for you. It's the least I can do after making you wait these sixty plus years," Steve said. He felt that was the best he could do to help Peggy and Andrea, especially if he was taking her to the Floating Headquarters later tonight.

" I would appreciate that greatly. " Peggy said giving a smile. She was happy that Steve was alive and hoped he would find someone to love just like she had. "Maybe once this is over we can have that dance. Andrea is quite good and I'm sure she would teach you of you asked her. " She added and was glad that Andrea was heading back with the food.

"I think I will ask. Though I'll tell you right now that I probably won't be the best dance partner," he replied before seeing Andrea carrying three trays. Getting up, he headed towards Andrea. "Do you want any help?" he asked.

"That would be nice thank you. " Andrea said with a smile. She had waited tables in college and was glad sometimes she was able to carry three trays at once.

Steve nodded as he took one of the trays from her. "So...you were a waitress at one point, I see," he said. Even back in the 1940s, he could always see someone doing that when he went into a restaurant, dive or other establishment.

" I was. " Andrea said with a smile. " I also tended bar during college but don't tell anyone that fact. I hated making drinks even if the pay was better than waitressing. " She said and set the two down on the table. " I hope chicken sandwiches are alright."


" Are you ready to go Ms. Hatcher?" Natasha asked. " We'll be heading to the airport and then to SHEILD's main base of operations. " She added and hoped Clint was back from his mission with Agent Coulson. It was odd seeing him alive after they had thought Phil was dead but knew the Avengers had needed that push to defeat Loki.

"Your secret is safe with me," Steve said with a light chuckle before setting the third tray down next to the ones that Andrea set down. "Chicken sandwiches are fine," he added as he sat down; the conversation from earlier still running through his mind.

Leana nodded. "I'm ready," she said quickly as she holstered the bag on her shoulder. "Also, you can call me by my first name you know. 'Ms. Hatcher,' makes me sound like I'm forty or something."

"Thanks. " Andrea said and sat down. The only reason she hated making drinks was her ex boyfriend had found out and wanted her to be at his parties. She was glad they had broken up since she didn't like how he had treated his family. To Andrea, family was everything and knew when her grandma died she wouldn't have much family left. Though she did have distant cousins on her dad's sided if the family but she didn't see then very often.


" Alright Leana. You can call me Natasha. " She said with a slight smile. She didn't think the questioning would be hard now that they had an understanding of each other. Natasha was glad that vehicle that was to pick them up had arrived and made her way in that direction. She didn't want to know what sort of trouble Stark was getting into now that he was back on the Helicarrier since the last time he had hacked the entire system.

(think Steve or Peggy should tell Andrea about what the two of them discussed?)

" Andrea Captain Rogers and I have something we want to talk to you about. " Peggy said after they had eaten in silence for a while. She hoped her granddaughter didn't mind that she would have someone keeping an eye on her.

Steve nodded as well, hoping that she would be okay with the idea.

" Captain Rogers is going to keep you safe while you are working with SHIELD." Peggy said." Also if he asks could you teach him how to dance." Peggy said.

Andrea was glad that someone would keep an eye on her while she was with SHIELD ,since that group was still after her. She wanted to tell Captain Rogers which group it was, but had the feeling this wasn't the safest place to do so.
