Well you have 6 more days to get a chance! and i'm hoping to have earned enough gold to be able to run 2 rounds on the final day. So don't blame the weather too much ^^

Well of course and it's back to work for me tomorrow so I won't be able to participate but that's ok. Everyone finds them so much faster than I do. It's just as much fun watching how quickly they are found.

I'm finding it far easy to sit back and watch everyone else scramble over each other trying to solve my clues

`Logan there's no set time for these, just when i feel like it and there's enough people in the forum to make it worth while, and not when there's a round of trizia coming up as we want to spread things out nicely during the day

I think maybe for the next user sponsored event maybe you could do like they did in the RP and use PDT as a time frame and set up specific times for things that require people to be here to participate.

I know myself I came on late yesterday afternoon and again late today and the hunt was over. I know that you are not going to be able to cater to everyone's random schedule and that there is always going to be someone who misses out but it is kind of disheartening when you want to participate but can't because the event is already over.

Just a suggestion for next time :)

what i wanted was one of those cute pixel clocks that you can paste into webpages and so on, and i was going to run the round by that.
but i was afraid that it would show a different time for everyone!, because on the site i looked at, the whole page of them were on GMT, which was what i'd want, but i didn't know what they'd say for you for example, so i sort of gave up on that idea.

but i might go and get one and do a bit of experimenting yet!

I was on just a little before the treasure hunt started today, but a storm knocked out our internet, so I ended up missing it anyways. Yesterday's was over before I even had a chance to participate. I'll try again tomorrow, we'll see how that goes, lol. So you are funding this treasure hunt all on your own, jelly?

pretty much..i've had just over 3k from the collected donations we'd accumilated, but each round uses 1k in gold and i needed 8 altogether when i hit 6K earlier on tonight that gave me the remainder of what i needed for the rest of the week.
That's the main down side of a user run event, i can't just moderate people's gold i have to pay out of my own pocket.
but people are enjoying it so it's all good.

People really appreciate what you guys are doing though ^^. It is fun and gives people a chance to talk to a wider group of people as a whole and have fun together on the site and meet new people.

Around what time tommorrow do you think you are going to put up the next round? xD I sleep pretty much all day, or I am reading during the afternoon, so I have been only gotten to the hunt at the very end. xD I would really like to try from the beginning one.

i don't know what time it will be. i was sorely tempted to do another one tonight because it got busier, but trivia was running and it would be silly to have 2 live events running at the same time. and to be honest i'm too sleepy to be able to concerntrate on a hectic hunt, it's getting on for 5AM here
i'm going to try and wait until later on in the day tomorrow, so that it runs during the evening in the US, it was around 11am PST that i ran today's round.
these different time zones do not help one bit!!

but you're so right about this bringing people together, it's lovely to see people in here who usually rarely venture out of the exchange or the art forums

So, it began at 2 PM my time for the last one. xD I should be up before that tommorrow if my dad has anything to say about it.
