I'm sleepy but I'm doing fairly good, star's impatient for the last CI of the month ..and workign ahrd to get the last bit of commons she wants from the Event store.. and ocne she's done with that.. she's gonna go pass out for like the rest of the day haha.

Oh lord, today at work was awful :( I cried

2 day old puppy... cleft pallet and pneumonia, he was really weak... there was nothing the vets could do

It lived for only two days and got an illness? That's possible?

Att least they took it in and didn't let it suffer. *hugs Star tight*

Rather, it's possible for the illness to progress that far in two days? Even considering an infant's immune system, I'm like, TWO DAYS?

He was born with a cleft pallet, meaning when he tried to suckle from his mum, it was going up through the hole in the roof of his mouth and into his lungs instead of his stomach.
He was tiny.
He didn't get any nutrition, so he didn't grow, and the milk in his lungs bred bacteria and developed in to phreumonia
If it was caught earlier he'd have stood a chance, but he was too weak and too small :(
He was drowning in the milk and he was too weak and small to survive surgery

Not suffering wher he is now.

He was just so tiny... it was heartbreaking

Okay, that makes sense to me. I see how it happens now.

Try not dwell on it. Nature is cruel sometimes.

First time I've cried at work though.

Just think of all the other puppers who've been in and had Star cuddles before their puppy injecttions and learning the fear of the vets.

I know I've just never seen a pup so young or small before
