It's 11C [53F) here currently with an estimated high of 23C [75F)(but the last time that was the estimated high it was over 32C (90F), so we'll see. haha)!

well we each have a thermostat in our room as well as our living room. the living room one she has been better about but the one in her room is the one she turns up high. if she isn't here i go turn it off >.> she knows i do this though i just don't like going in her room because i don't like anyone in mine

Ah, got ya! I am the same way - we just have one thermostat for our whole room that's in our hallway. But we don't pay for utilities so our AC has been on a lot lately. Stupid heat. *tries to pass some of the heat over to you*

and take it i gladly would! a friend of mine lives in a place that she doesn't have to pay for utilities. she pays an exorbitant amount in rent though

I have financial aid that helps with my housing - I only pay like 500 something in May, and the rest is covered by my aid - as well as classes. :) So that's a blessing, but it's like 700 something a month if aid wasn't helping.

that is very nice indeed! i miss being in college. i was an RA so i got free housing, which is super helpful!

I couldn't handle being an RA - I'm so stressed as it is. (Like so stressed I broke down crying on the phone with my mom tonight.)

My floor's RA has the same name as me, and my roommate the other day, after our RA stopped by real fast goes "funny thing, your twin looks nothing like you." xD

yea it's a pretty stressful job but i needed the help financially so i didn't have much of choice. i even worked a job off campus and played sports!

Oh, I don't have a twin - my roommate was joking as the RA and I have the exact same name (like we even spell it the same), so therefore a 'twin'. xD I wish I had a twin.

I'm to the point of almost quitting and all I do is deal with my roommate and go to classes, and don't have time for much more than that. *sighs*

it's important to remember the positive things, especially when you get annoyed with roommates

Yeah, she's deaf-blind (my roommate) and last term she was making a dish to make a to a potluck for deaf-blind (she goes to a monthly social once a month and you bring something to share), and part of it burnt, not bad, but it didn't look good, and she goes "Well oh, well it's not like they can see it anyways." LOL!
