[Wasteland Wanderers] - [Yuri Valen]

The harsh snow-chilled wind blew past Yuri as he carried his game back to his lair. Hunting had been getting somewhat lean during recent times and he has contemplated moving to newer pastures, but the winds speak of a time of want, for all. He sighed, many times during this long hunting trip he wished Vanda was beside him. But she was now a old woman and hardly in any shape for extended hunting trips.

He felt the Ibex slip and quickly repositioned it on his shoulder, and carried on, his only thoughts about how his compainion had fared in his absence, for he had been gone for several days, longer than he had anticipated. If things continued as they were he might have to mirgrate to another spot and he feared that Vanda will not make such a journey.

Relief washed through him as he saw the enterence to the small surface cave he shared with Vanda. Home, food and rest, all was right in his world.
