@Ambi: OMG, you did not have to draw Jade for me but EEEEE, THANK YOU SO MUCH! SOOOO adorable. I squealed when I saw her ducky. :D *Glomps and huggles* Yay, this made my dayyy~

IMO, I would color the hair in the blank sections, leaving the lines you've already drawn. I think the lines are too pretty to not be shown. :O

And yes, I wouldn't mind helping you eat the cake. :D Sounds deliiiicioussss~

@Ayumi: *Highfive* :D

Speaking of fish . . . I've decided I hate them alive after watching this horribly scary show on Discovery Channel called River Monsters. The things catfish can do to a human body . . . let's just say it's too graphic to even put into words. @_@;

Happy belated Birthday Ambi!

@Wendy: I'll make sure I don't watch that show then. It sounds really creepy.

-hands out slices of leftover b-day cake-

Hello, I return !

To answer your question, Hatake, I use several free programs 'cause I'm a cheap person.
This particular piccy for Jitsu started as a sketch on Tegaki that I screen capped.
I then used Paint.net to give it line arts, and began coloring on an oekaki board, specifically shi painter.

You're welcome Wendy. c:

Jitsu, I'm glad you like it !

I must apologize to you all, I took not a single picture.
I didn't have access to a camera. ;_;
However, I do want to type up a short blog-like essay to share my experience with you.

Wow, I never would have guessed you used those programs. @_@ It looks like a Photoshop or Painter job. You must have a very skilled hand with a tablet. :O

I wish I owned a tablet. D: I need something. I've only ever colored with my finger on a laptop touch pad. *SIGH*

Try the Wacom Bamboo? The small one is pretty affordable.

Yeah, everyone's told me to get a Bamboo, and I probably should get one. I was going to get an Intuos, but then they decided to upgrade their Intuoses and now they're astronomically high.

AND I CAN ALWAYS WISH FOR A CINTIQ. T_T

Thanks Wendy !

If you want a tablet, I recommend ordering an older model from E-bay.
I think Wacom suddenly stopped providing a quality product for the amateur consumer when the company made Bamboo.
Aesthetically, its absolutely gorgeous, but its active space leaves much to be desired.
The older members of the Graphire series are not as pretty, but have much more space (instead of buttons most first time tablet users will not find helpful).

I have one for about $40 after shipping and handling.
They last for about 3 years.
When it finally dies, you'll be sad you lost something so hard to replace.
You won't feel any pains in your wallet, though.

If you're more concerned that you won't be able to replace it if it dies, get something with a warranty and disregard what I said.
Total confidence in your purchase is the most important part of your decision.

Wow, thanks for the advice! I was seriously considering checking one out on eBay, so I'll definitely hop on that ASAP. 40 bucks with S&H isn't bad at ALL, especially for about three years. I've been told space is pretty much needed and that it's really annoying when you're wanting to draw / color bigger areas but you run out of space on the tablet. :/ I work pretty much zoomed in all the time, too, so I could use some space.

The small active space is quite annoying...

But I'm just an amateur, so...

lol I don't get paid real money for what I do either, Hatake.
Amatuers deserve more active space for their moth filled wallets... like mine.

-throws up a picket sign-

LESS CASH FOR LESS SPACE !
