Hi guys! I need inspiration and motivation to draw tonight, give me requests/ideas

From the first five people to make requests in this thread i'll choose ONE (or two if i have time)

Also, from a fellow artists' point of view, abulia, I'm still seething over your eye for realism. Very seldom do you see that around here now-a-days, much less anywhere at all, and when I see someone who has a knack for it, I get REALLY excited. Realism / semi-realism is perhaps my favorite thing to draw, though I dabble in cartoonish styles as well. Distorting reality is fun sometimes, but it seems overplayed these days; really beautiful to see the figure in its truer light. :3

yeah i know what are you talking about. most art sites seem to be flooded with anime-influenced art. i'm not surprised that menewsha art subforum prefers manga too, as the avatars are in that style.
I used to do anime style too (proof in the "Draw the avatar above you" thread) but i gave up because i grew out of this and i realized it wasn't leading me anywhere.
but it's not true that you can't find art communities not leaning towards eastern cartoons. if you want an art forum where realism is dominant and considered an obligatory start for any artist, go to Conceptart.org. i had a sketchbook there as well - it's a really great community, but not for people who can't bear harsh critique.

Really? I've never heard of that site. I'll have to go check it out, definitely! I can definitely handle harsh critiques . . . 3 hours out of my week of the 6 I endure per art class per semester are devoted to those harsh crits, so I've been well versed in taking things with a grain of salt and even improving based on some bashings here and there.

Thanks for the compliment on her. :3 I, myself, am a diehard tomboy, so I guess my own personality rubbed off on my creation. :sweat:
