Long ago, before the world had begun to create the destructive machinery and weaponry that could destroy countries the humans had used to fight one another for power; there had lived a race of wolves that were considered demons among humans. These wolves were the protectors of the planet that they and the humans had both shared with one another. No ordinary human had ever found out about the wolves due to them being able to shift their form from their animal state into what had looked just like an ordinary human just like everyone else. Within these disguises they were able to protect other humans from dangers that might've caused the end of a city or even possibility the planet itself. Unfortunately, one day a human had become too curious about how nothing had truly went wrong with the world even once, due to the curiosity of this human he had followed one of the wolves' that was in disguises by chance and had seen the human disguises shift back into the form of a wolf.

Due to the time period, when others had found out about this race of wolves being around. People had began to hunt down each and everyone of these wolves in disguise by threatening ordinary humans until they were either shift into their real form of the wolf or if they could prove that they were no doubt, honestly human. By the time each of the disguised wolves were revealed, these animals had immediately fled back into their forest and had returned to their village. From then on, the wolves had swore to themselves that they would no longer help humanity with their problems any longer.

Several decades have passed by and humanity now no longer remembers who the wolves are, nor do they know what the wolves have done for the planet. Even to this day, the wolves keep their new promise to themselves that they would no longer help humanity with anything. However, now with the new generation of wolves; some of them think otherwise of their elders' decisions while others think of their elders' decision being correct. During this time as well, without the help of the wolves humanity is actually slowly coming to a breaking point. War has continued to rage between countries as they would continue to use different weapons of mass destruction to kill one another. With all these wars going on, even humans have been introduced to powers that seem to be connected to the wolves.

Weakness: The entire wolf clan, and his family; especially his little sister mean nearly everything to him. If his sister were to be caught, he would be terrified of what could happen if he did a wrong move and ended up costing her life. Also whenever his powers are fueled more because of emotion, it will tend to become life threatening for him since he tends to lose control of his own power.
Bio: Hiroaki was born and raised into the clan of wolves, the day of his birth was around the middle of the time when the race of wolves had still been protecting the planet from danger. His father and mother who were the king and queen of the clan seemed to had been the strongest of all the wolves apparently. Being at such a young age, Hiroaki had thought of the humans as such great beings as though they could never do anything wrong. So to why the wolves had to keep in disguise of looking like humans was a big mystery to him. Although, he had never bothered to question his mother and father's demands because of him being so young.
However, as time went by and Hiroaki had began to grow in age. The day had finally come when the humans had began to hunt down each of the wolves, fleeing into the darkness of the forest and back to the village. Hiroaki was told not to go back to the human cities nor would he be allowed to help the humans any longer. He had known to why he was told not to help the humans, but for some strange reason; Hiroaki couldn't help himself but still want to help the humans with their struggles even when his parents wouldn't let him.
Now, if Hiroaki wasn't trying to sneak out of the village to visit the cities to see how the humans were living their lives. He would be spending his time either playing his piano, or flute; if it wasn't that he would tend to go and watch the stars at night.

Weakness: Akane has a rune of power ingraved on her palms, and when she over exserts her powers in human form or wolf form, the marks will burn her hands severly.
Bio: Akane Daishi was arranged to marry the king ever since she was young. Growning up to be the proper young lady had never exactly gone as her parents' had planned. She was rash and passionate about the world, and how to better her people's lives and the lives of the humans, and not about marrying the future king. But once she did meet the man she was to marry, she found a fondness in her heart for him, and agreed to marry him.

Having Hiroaki when she was eighteen had scared Akane for awail. She feared she would not be a proper mother when it came to raising a son. It turned out well in the end, and her husband and son brought out the soft and loving side of the queen. The red headed female had taken up the piano and harp once more, and taught her son. But soon things changed. The wolves began to become the hunters, and she and her husband banned anymore contact with them. For she feared for her son's life, as well as her small baby daughter.

Now Akane helps keep an eye on her children, and runs the errons around their lands. While she also helps the king with descisions, and on guiding her son gently to start learning how to lead the people. Akane also attempts to keep her daughter safe, and closer to home to make sure she stays safe.

Chu'si grew up faster then most when it came to maturing, and her mind was swift and her tongue sharp.

Her brother was not much young then she, but she protected him, for he was always picked on for being her brother. No one wanted to hang out with the snake girl. Not until she killed a wolf when she was twelve. She had lost her brother, and found him in the forest, a wolf looming over his bloody body. Bio: Arden was a fair and just man by human standards. He made sure that the people of the village were always kept safe from the dangers in the forest. It was known that he held a hatred for the wolves, but none really knew how strong that hatred truly was. His hatred really deepened after the death of his wife several years ago. The doctors told him it was from a rare illness, but he knew better. At least in his mind he did. It was the wolves that caused her to get sick and to leave alone to raise their two children. A few months before her death his wife had been bitten by an animal in the forest, he had been convinced that it was a wolf that had bitten her. Not long after his wife had become ill Arden met Jason Wright. The two of them quickly became business partners so to speak. It seemed the two of them shared the same hatred for the wolves and wanted the same thing so it was only natural that they helped each other out.

Lately Arden has been a little distracted by his daughter. She is old enough now to court and he is determined to find the right successor. After all an arranged marriage would be best if he wanted to assure that the village continued to be led by his family. His opinion and that of his daughter differ and they haven’t been seeing eye to eye on things. A small rift seemed to be starting to form.

((....Wolfie's just gonna go ahead and post...if that's okay...))

The sun rose on yet another morning to find at least one member of the royal family's servants already awake. Rosemary Hunter, guard to the prince of the royal wolves, was always awake before the dawn, training to keep her skills sharp. That morning saw her in her favorite place, a small training field in the center of a garden, where she was already sweating from hours of hard work. Seeing the sun rising above the treeline, the young warrior stopped and stood up straight, wiping her brow. Sheathing her katana, she decided it was time to wash up, so that she would be ready when her master woke. It was her job to be watching him at all times throughout the day, and she slept outside his door at night just in case. He didn't know that, of course, since she had her own room, but she had started the habit months before when word of the humans killings came to them. The mortals were getting more creative, and they now even had specialized hunters who dedicated their lives to hunting the wolves. Rosemary was constantly watching, always on alert in case any threat were to come by her charge. Her hours of morning training were the only time she spent away from the prince, and even then she always had an eye out just in case. It didn't bother her, she reflected as she made her way to the bath. No, she was born into that life, had never known anything else. She didn't know what she would do if she wasn't guarding, wasn't protecting. What am I if not a guard to the royal line? She wondered, not for the first time. Would she simply cease to exist if her job were taken? No, probably not. But it would be difficult.

((No worries Wolfie :3 OOC))

As the sunlight of the new morning crept over the horizon of the dense forest that hid the large village of the wolf clan, the prince of the wolf clan; Hiroaki sat on roof of the palace of the royal family of wolves with both his legs crossed and his eyes closed. He was had woken up about an hour or two before the sun had rose from the horizon but much later after his guard; Rosemary was awake, which he was unaware of. Sitting in a completely still stance, with the sun rising high above the trees and finally into the sky to show a new day to all wolves as well as the human race, Hiroaki had reopened his eyes slowly.

Every morning, he would make sure to head to the rooftop of the family's rooftop to meditate deeply before he would decide to start the new day. This was more over to see if he could figure out anything to do about the hatred that wolves had for humans as well as the once hatred that humans had for wolves that might've still been going on to this day. "A new day.." He whispered softly to himself before standing up to his feet and turning his back to the sun and making his way back into the building itself.

As Hiroaki had made his way through the halls of the large building, he soon came across hearing footsteps coming down the halls during the time it was at. The dark haired prince stopped right at the corner to the next hall, he waited for the footsteps to approach a bit closer before acting out randomly. He hadn't really expected anyone to be awake at this time just yet, but as he turned the corner only to find that it was actually Rosemary coming down the halls he let out a low sigh of relief that it was only her. Waving lightly towards her, Hiroaki had given a warm smile toward his guardian. "Oh, hello Rosemary. What are you doing up so early?"

Akane had been up for a very long time. She had visited the far expanses of the kingdom to view a village that had been attacked by the humans. Many had died, and those who had servived had been lead by their queen to the safest development of wolves and given peace of mind as she had set up traps for humans to protect the village and had warriors stationed around the area. Having worked so hard to keep the people that had been harmed and hurt safe, she had to head back to her own home. Running through the forest with the darkness all around her, the Queen didn't struggle with seeing, or the long distance run. Her wolf form was huge, even for a male wolf, and exotic as the royal wolf families tended to be. Her entire form was pure flames, as alive as she was, and her three tails whipped out behind her like firery whips. Her pace was swift, and her direction sure. The mother wanted to see her children, and her husband. Wishing to be home and hold her babies again, the Queen just wanted them to be safe. She had arrived very late that night, about 4am. Arriving tired and wirey, the mother had checked on her children before arriving in her room to find her husband sitting in his chair and reading a book. As always, he stayed awake to welcome her home whenever she went out for him when he was still needed in the capital.

Smiling softly, the mother and wife had kissed her husband on the lips and nuzzled noses with him before crawling onto the bed and collapsing with a huff. The rest of the night she had whispered her expeirence to him, and fallen asleep in his arms. Many times she needed to be in his arms to fall asleep anymore with all the terrible things happening. She would wake with night mares and terrible dreams and even sometimes visions. She even found that she wouldn't even sleep without his presence. It was odd for her to find herself struggling to sleep with out her husband, when she hadn't even liked him at all in the beginning.

As the sun came up, she found herself still sleeping, though when her husband stirred she decided to get up as well. Taking a shower to relax her muscles and wash away the fears of the past week. Having gotten dressed in one of her nicer dresses to adress court she had headed down to the kitchen and began to make breakfast tarts. The cook as always helped her out and as they were baking, she was resting at the counter as the tarts baked. Holding her mug of coffee, the Queen sighed softly and began to think of what the day was going to hold, and wanting to spend time with the entire family sometime this day. Oh how had things gotten so chaotic and busy?

Rosemary was walking through the halls, almost to her room, when she heard footsteps. Her guard was instantly up, until she recognized the sound of the prince's tread. She heard him stop, and nodded to herself, glad that he was being cautious. Rounding the corner, she smiled up at her charge, and bowed. "Good morning to you as well, my prince. I was only training as I always do in the morning. What is his highness doing up so early, without a guard?" She asked, adding the last part meaningfully. She wasn't scolding- she had no place scolding the prince, and besides, he was old enough to walk around his home by himself. But she didn't like the idea that he had been awake without her knowing it. She only worried about him, though she knew she shouldn't worry as much as she did.

Chu'si hummed as she looked at the rising sun in the sky. Finishing butcharing the deer she had caught for her family, she took the pelt and hung it out to dry. Washing her hands in the stream that ran past her home, the indian hunter was always up before the sun, and prayed at sunrise with the rest of her family. Walking towards the stone shrine on the corner of the land they owned, she ruffled the hair of her younger brother, who was kneeling and rubbing his tired eyes. He was still getting used to the early morning routine that he had to now take a part in that he was 16. Seeing his scowl, the snake maiden chuckled and then knelt next to him. To her right was her mother and father, and when meeting their gazes, they all began to chant together. Praying to Mother Nature, Father sun, Mother Moon, and Father Night. The musical chant was something of beauty, and soothed the nerves of the huntress. She found the small things always helped her to keep herself from completely immersing herself in the thoughts about the wolves. Somewhere in her heart, she knew they all couldn't be bad, for they used to be peaceful with the wolves in her native people's tribe, but having seen the wolf over the dead body of her first brother, she always had a spark of hatred in her heart.

As her thoughts on that terrible memory bubbled up, she felt a sick taste in her mouth. Her stomach coiled into a knot and froze in a cold lump. Standing instantly the chanting was done, she moved swiftly to grab her weapons once again. Her parents watched with eyes of worry, and her brother sprung up to follow her. He always liked to shoot arrows with her at this time of day. "Chu'si wait up!" he called in their native tongue. Turning in a sudden flourish of anger and sadness, the woman startled the young boy. "Go back to the house and eat you silly boy. Focase on your studies. Arrows will not lead you to a life of happiness." she snapped, immediately regretting her words as his features fell to sadness. He knew that he wasn't talented enough to be a hunter like she was, but he always liked to try, to prove he was strong too. His head dropped and he turned to head back to the house where his mother looked on with worry, her father shot her a look of anger, but she met his eyes with coldness of her own.

As much as she wanted to appologize, she would not. She had always wanted to keep her brother away from the forest. She would not loose another brother to the forest and the evil that could lurk within it's mist. Turning she then sped off into the forest, knowing that she didn't have any duties to the towns people today. She would do her rounds like she always did. It was painful to leave her family like that, but she couldn't trust them to the forest, never again. If it ment them turning to hate her, she would keep them from harm.

Standing completely still in front of his guard; Rosemary, Hiroaki had watched as to how she gave a proper bow just as anyone else would do so towards a person of royal blood. Unlike many others of royal blood in other clans if not in the human races royalty, Hiroaki wasn't the type to just stand there and smile about the fact that he was being given the proper respect he was given by all those around him. So, he had bowed respectfully towards her as well to show that even though she was a guardian of his, the two of them should be considered on the same level of equality.

When she had answered his question as to the fact that she was training as usual in the morning and ended up asking him what he was doing up so early without a guard. Scratching the back of his head with a slight chuckle from her question, he pointed towards the direction he had walked from. "I was meditating on the roof." He stated before raising a brow and taking a quick glance around him for a moment. "Would you know happen to know where my mother is Rosemary?"

As the sun rose overhead, it slowly shone into the room of a young girl. The covers soon shifted as a large fluffy white tail popped out from the side of the blanket. It wiggled about freely as the owner of the tail shifted in the blanket. Two tiny hands moved from the blanket and threw it high in the air. A smile spread on her face as she stretched, her tail swaying left and right, "Ve.~" She chirped softly fixing her nightgown as a puff of smoke slowly move towards her and hovered in a circle. "Wake up sleepy head, you almost slept through the morning." The voice said, the voice itself was majestic and mysterious. The smoke it formed in was purple with green eyes, a wide grin filled with teeth and black slits in it's eyes. The young girl looked over towards the smoke, but instead of being scared she smiled softly, clapping.

"Cheshire, good morning." The young girl said smiling, Cheshire chuckled as he slithered around the white haired girl. She giggled softly as the puff of smoke vanished into a doll that the girl had. "Good morning to you as well, my princess." He stated, making the stuffed doll move it's head and bowed it's head. The young princess named Hinata smiled softly as she hugged the stuffed detailed doll, Cheshire was in. Cheshire placed a paw on the fragile body frame of the princess, "Come now Hinata, let's go to the family." He said softly, the tail slowly swaying as the stuffed doll slowly started becoming more real. Hinata looked up blinking lightly and nodded, "Oh ok. But when you see family, you have to turn back into a normal doll." Hinata said puffing her cheeks lightly. Cheshire arched a brow, "Ah yes, that is right. Thank you for reminding me." He said jumping down from the bed and stood tall, allowing the young princess to get on his back.

Hinata crawled onto Cheshire's back, he started walking towards the door allowing Hinata to open it for the both of them. "What are we going to do today Cheshire?" She asked blinking lightly as her tail swayed lightly. Cheshire looked over towards Hinata, his grin never leaving. "I'm not sure, whatever adventures comes our way my princess, my main concern is to make sure your not harmed." He stated blinking his yellow eyes lightly. "I have Sho-Sho silly. Sho-Sho protect me." She giggled softly as her ears twitching lightly. "That is true. Hm, I think it is time for me to turn into a normal doll, I don't want to get caught." He said softly as he gently slid Hinata off his back and turned into a normal creepy smiling cat. Hinata nodded and picked Cheshire up and started walking down the hall again. Making sure her eyes were closed, Hinata continued walking down the halls, "Maoo!~" She called out in the hallways, listening to the small echo.

The situation was ending up like her most recent dream. She was all alone in the castle, as if the family abandoned her. She sniffed sofly and continued walking through the halls sniffing lightly as tears slowly formed in her eyes. She gently rubbed her left eye as his tail swayed lightly. "Mao." She said through a broken voice, she was trying not to cry but she couldn't really help but to whimper a little.

((thinking))
Athena walked the streets alone her dagger strapped to her thigh she never understood why her father made her carry it around no one would attack her but he just kept insisting. She sighed softly skirting the edges of the forest careful to not to in the forest was off limits from dusk till dawn another thing she didn't fully get but that her father insisted on. She knew there were robbers and rogue humans out there looking to kill but they would attack you no matter what time of day but she stayed out to keep her father happy.

Clara sat cleaning her gun it didn't need it but the motions helped her center herself. When she was healing being able to center and focus on one task was something that was neccissary or you would mess up and the person would be maimed or worse.

Shouta awoke a couple hours before dawn as he usually did. First he checked on Hinata to make sure she was still sleeping then he moved to one of the gardens around the castle to meditate. Once finished with his meditation he moved straight to his training. As the sun rose he ended his training and started back towards the castle.

The boy stretched as he strode down a hallway. It was about time for him to go get Hinata to make sure she was ready for breakfast. While walking he heard a very familiar ‘Mao’ and very soft whimper coming from the next hall over. He started running, ready to draw his sword if needed. No one was going to harm the princess, not while he was around. “Hinata,” he called as he entered the hall where the young princess was. “You’re not alone now, I’m here. None of us would ever abandon you my princess.” His words were soft and encouraging as he approached Hinata with a warm smile on his face. It seemed strange to him how she could always bring out a side of him he never thought he had before. Of course he wouldn’t let others see it.

Rosemary gave a small smile. She had been guarding the prince for as long as she could remember, and for all that time she had never known him to treat her as anything less than equal. "Ah, meditation. I have always found it helpful to meditate as often as possible." She said with a nod. "Oh, yes. Her highness returned safely home late last night, and should at this moment be preparing breakfast. I will accompany you tot he kitchens if you wish, my prince." She offered, though it wasn't really a question. It was her job to follow him wherever he went, unless given other orders.

Hinata continued walking though the hallways, her tail swayed lightly as her ears twitched. "Mao." She called out softly, rubbing her eyes lightly and clenching to her stuffed doll. She was worried that she was alone in the castle. "I am alone." She said softly then gasped when she heard a voice. She looked up and seen Shouta running over towards her, her eyes remained closed but she could tell from voice that it was him. She smiled softly once she heard him say that she wasn't alone. Hinata smiled softly and hugged Shouta tightly.

"Thank you Sho-Sho" Hinata said happily, her tail swaying happily and Cheshire was hanging in her arms. "Mao mao, I'm happy again." Hinata said giggling happily as her ears wiggled. Cheshire watched from within the doll, listening in and making sure that she was in safe hands before going to sleep in the doll. "Cheshire kept me company until you came Sho-Sho, say to him." She said smiling and held the small doll in front of her.

The thought that when Rosemary had stated to Hiroaki that she had tried to meditate whenever she could wasn't much of a surprise to him. She was his guardian and that she was a warrior to follow up much with that. She had to make sure she had a clear mind when she was protecting him and stayed on guard at all times. Right after stating that, when she had explained to him that his mother had actually returned already and was most likely within the kitchen as well as the suggestion if he wanted her to come along. Nodding his head to her suggestion, he began to make his way past her and down the hallway to reach the kitchen. "Yes, the company would be nice." He spoke out as he had remembered that his mother had left the last night to go do what she had to.

Rosemary bowed slightly as the prince passed her, then stood up straight and followed him. She briefly wondered what it felt like to be able to visit one's mother, but she quickly shook the thought away. Such musings were unwelcome, as they would distract from her duties. Clearing her mind, Rosemary focused her senses on their surroundings, making sure there were no threats. Though it was unlikely that a threat would present itself inside the castle, she could never be too careful.

Akane smiled as she finished the sweet syrup drizzle on the fruit tarts that had come out of the oven. Sighing softly, she looked out the window with a clouded gaze. There was so much pain and blood lately. Being raised during a war, the woman had been known and accustomed to all the bloodshed and the agony. Thinking that her children might have to go through such a thing though, made her gut twist in a cold knot. Her daughter was already fragile, having the royal 'curse' as some called it. It could be a blessing if the girl could control it, but for now, they had to keep a close eye on her because it could seriously injure her if she accedentally accessed the power before she was strong enough. Hiroaki on the other hand, he was strong and able bodied. Though it was his mental strength the mother worried for. He still had a love and curiousty for the the humans, whether or not he would admit it aloud. Akane was a very observant person, her eye for detail startlingly sharp, and she hadn't missed the signs that Hiroaki still wanted to see the humans, and was doing so. It took the deepest trust and faith in him for her not to speak of this to her husband or son, and it ate at her whenever she saw the signs. But she believed that trust should be given until broken, and so far her son hadn't gotten hurt, and hadn't interacted, just observed. Oh how she wished to make him more wiry.

Stepping out from behind the island, she decided she would go round up her children. The mother hadn't been home for a week, and she missed seeing her babies. As she walked, she kept her thoughts up in her mind. It was easy to admit that Hiroaki and Hinata were sheltered, not in a bad way, but more so then she or her husband ever were. Being raised during a time of war, changed all the wolves of their generation. Many times Akane had a temper so terrible she used to be able to burn whole sections of the forest, and had done so on many occasions. When Hiroaki had been born, the wild and free spirited woman didn't change, but she softened around the edges a bit. She still went on adventures, she still played pranks with her children. Though she was definately different structured then her husband, who was definetly more strict and static, she could bring out the inner male she fell in love with.

Turning the corner, the mother's ears shot up on her head and her tail flickered as she heard footsteps. it was obviously her son's, which she knew very well, as well as his guardian. Sending a mental message to her son's guardian that she was going to spoke the boy, the mother smirked. Sliding down the hall in the shadows, she kept herself out of obvious sight, and then lept, landing on the ceiling rafters and hid behind a big beam. As he came around the corner she waited and then pounced. Her movement brought him down on the rug on the floor and she laughed as she put him in a head lock and ruffled up his hair. That always got him to tussle with her, he hated her messing with his hair, and that's why she always did.

"Good morning! You should be more awake when someone can just jump on you like this! Goodness soon Hinata may be able to pin you boy!" she teased as she batted his ear playfully and grinned in challenge. As he came at her like she knew he would, the two of them tussled and rolled on the ground for a solid five minutes before Akane landed a tickle attack and sat on her son's back pinning his arms. "Mercy?" she asked playfully, laughing lightly with her eyes sparkling. Even being in a dress she made sure she could still kick tail.

While traveling down the halls to reach the kitchen where Rosemary had informed Hioaki of where his mother was actually at during the time being. He had somewhat let his guard down in his own home, he hadn't really heard any nearby footsteps other than his own and that of his guardian walking behind him. The thought of there being anyone that would be able to sneak up on either of them without one of them realizing it first was quite near to impossible. So as he came closer and closer towards the kitchen, he began to wonder on where his younger sister; Hinata was at the moment. He had known well enough that her guardian; Shouta most likely was with her at the moment to protect her but he was still her older brother and he had vowed on his own life that he would protect her from anyone and anything.

With these thoughts about how his little sister was quite fragile about her eyes and her feelings already being as strong as they were, this left his guard even more open than it should've been. So many thoughts went through his head as he questioned so much more, what if Hinata had met a human one day, he had known all too well that their mother and father would never allow such a thing, but Hiroaki was still curious about the human race and as to why the two races still had to hate one another for what happened so long ago.

It was of no surprise when he had turned the next corner to the next hallway that he was caught completely off guard and forced to the ground with a loud thud. With both of his eyes widen in shock on pretty much the unexpected glomp, he tossed and turned slightly to see if he could get his mother off of him. "Oh come on mother! How you always have this amount of energy in the morning everytime is beyond me!" He exclaimed in the middle of the halls, wondering as to why Rosemary hadn't helped him. Was it because this was the queen and she dared not to interrupt?

After a bit of tossing and turning only to get caught off guard from the continuous tickling. Hioaki ended up bursting into a fit of laughter as he shook his head multiple times to still try and get free, obviously to receive nothing but failure in the end. With a quick close of his eyes and reopening them to reveal a slight change in color and pattern along with fur covering all over his body. He shifted straight into his wolf form with his snowy white fur and slipped out of his mother's grasp only to immediately shift right back into his human form once he was a few feet away from her. Panting softly as he stared at his mother, the young prince had given a few chuckles right after from all the tickling before shaking his head once again. "Sheesh mother. I was just going to come see how you were doing and wonder if you knew where Hinata was. At this rate, I think your right about Hinata being better then me." He spoke with a slight bit of pause in his words from the panting before turning to look at Rosemary with a nervous smile. "I'm getting the feeling you knew she was planning this..huh?"

The boy smiled and hugged the little girl back. “You’re welcome and I’m glad to hear that my princess,” Shouta replied before looking at the doll. “And thank you for watching over her.” He felt a little silly talking to a doll, but what was he to do when he knew well that Hinata would get upset if he didn’t. Still kneeling in front of the girl he held out his hand. “Shall we head to breakfast now? I think they made a surprise for you and the prince this morning.” He knew that the queen had returned and hoped that being able to see her mother Hinata would cheer up. It seemed that as of late she had been somewhat depressed, but the boy couldn’t put his finger on what the cause was. Of course he may just be imagining things and being over protective of his charge. Anyway he hoped that the queen would have answers. He would have to talk to her later about the matter.

Arden had woken up early, just before sunrise. There was much he had to do today after all he was the mayor and keeping the village safe was his main priority. As usual he only had coffee before leaving to make his morning rounds. First he headed to the edge of the forest to check the perimeter of the village. Time passed by him quickly as he walked. Hearing the church bell chime he glanced into the forest one last time before heading back. He couldn’t be late this morning. He had several meetings with possible suitors for his daughter, but first was his meeting with Jason Wright. Jason was by far his best hunter, though others would probably disagree.

The man adjusted his glasses as he walked swiftly towards his office. There was a wide smile on his face. Arden felt that today was going to be a wonderful and lucky day. Yes, today was going to be the day that Jason would find those despicable wolves hiding spot. Once that was discovered they would rid this world of that filth. It was then and only then would the village, his children, him and his precious wife’s souls be at peace. Sure most of the older villagers would be very thankful to him for wiping out the last of the wolves, but there would be some that would hate him for it. Those he didn’t feel the way he did were only fools and anyone who tried to stop him or his hunters were traitors to the human race. All traitors would share the same fate as those creatures.

Shinji walked along the path towards the village. He had slipped away into the forest that the people of his home village seemed to fear. The slightly chilled air was refreshing, and he closed his eyes to enjoy it as a slight breeze flowed past. He would be in serious trouble if his father found out about him having been out here, though it was not the first time. He wondered what his father's reasoning was, though he had mostly given up on understanding the man long ago. He much prefered to be on his own. People were not his forte. As the son of the mayor, that was a tad bit ironic and not good for his future as his father saw it, but it was how he was. Ever since he was little, things were often decided for him...planned for him. The more people pushed, the more he pushed back. He glanced up at the sky, through the leaves of the trees. It was so quiet out here...so peaceful.

He felt at home in the woods, much like his mother had. She used to see the beauty in everything, especially the natural world. Shinji was often told of how much he resembled her, he even had her strong spirit. He missed her a lot. He had herd many stories about her, including one he was sure he was not supposed to hear. About the accident when she had been harmed in these woods. Was that what made his father act this way? He sighed, pulling his hood up a bit. This was getting him nowhere. The more he tried to sort through the thoughts and questions in his head, the more that seemed to arise. He needed to get home, before it was discovered he was not actually in his room studying. He continued along the path.

As he neared the village though he froze. He noticed the form of his sister not to far from the edge of the forest. Great, he immediatly slipped off the path, moving through the trees. He stayed out of her line of sight, moving to one tree on the edge of the forest. Glancing around, he made a break to a building not far away, slipping along the back of it and the next. It was a bit slow going, attempting not to be seen by anyone as he made his way towards the house. He finally reached it, letting out a breath. So far so good, no one had seen him, so his father might not be back yet. He opened the door, slipping inside to get out of the view of the village.

Rosemary gave no sign at all that she knew what was going on. Thanks to a lifetime of training, the queen's voice in her head caused no alarm and no reaction. She stayed silent until the fiery queen jumped out and tackled her son. What ensued was a playful wrestling match that, despite her training, Rosemary simply had to laugh at. Once the prince was free, she turned to him with a mischievous gleam in her eye. "I apologize, my prince, but I did indeed know what your mother was planning." She said. Just then, a look of sadness crossed her features, too fast for most people to notice. She was thinking about her own mother, or what little she could remember of the woman before she was taken away. If she had been left, would she and her parents have had a loving relationship like the one the prince enjoyed with his family?

Akane chuckled as Hiroaki slipped out from underneath her and then shifted back from his wolf form. Shaking her hair she straightened herself up and grinned at her son. "Well I get this energy from the idea of getting to surprise you and your sister." she said teasingly. Smirking she then shook her head, letting her hair flit around her face in a beautiful way and then sighed. "Well after such a tussle you deserve a good breakfast. Go into the kitchen and wash up. I will go find your sister and we will all sit at the table and eat like a family should. I want to here what you have been up to this week." the mother and Queen said lightly and smiled widely before heading down the hall to go see if she could sniff out her daughter. Sure enough she detected her daughter and her protector and headed that way. They were not too far away luckily. Seeing the two there in the hall way the mother grinned and walked over. She scooped her daughter into her arms and hugged her tight. Growling softly she nuzzled noses with her beloved Hinata and chuckled. "Good morning little one." she said lovingly and ran a hand through her daughter's beautiful white hair. "I have missed you darling." she added and then began walking down towards the kitchen with her daughter still in her arms.

Tanaka woke slowly as the sun broke through the trees far above him in the forest, he never really slept in the human settlement or in the wolves village. He always found himself sleeping in the forest nearby one of the towns, he had slept in the home of the older couple, but when they passed away he found his one connection that he had really formed with anyone disappeared with them. As he rose he stretched slowly on his bed of leaves on a large rock near the wolves home grunting slightly he looked up shielding his eyes from the glare as a stern breeze hit his face. Yawning Tanaka stepped off the rock and headed into the wolves town, he was slightly early for his chores in the royal home of the wolves, since he had been lucky enough to run into the grounds keeper who was in need of some help.

As soon as he reached the grounds he was greeted by an older man hunched over an old stick, with obvious tooth marks, "There you are... 2 minutes late.... don't think you can be late just because im old." the older man said before quickly snapping the stick out and hitting Tanaka on the head softly. "Oww!" Tanaka blurted out as he rubbed his head and grabbed a near buy collection of tools, "Sorry... ill try not to do it again." he said softly as he placed the harness with the tools on his back so no matter what form he was in he could hold them. The old man chuckled and slowlt shambled forward onto the grounds with Tanaka trailing slowly behind, admiring everything around him.

By the time Hiroaki was able to get free from his mother's grasp and spoke about where she had gotten all of her energy from. The dark-haired prince could only shake his head with a slight nervous smile across his lips as he nodded his head on understanding when she told him to go to the kitchen to get a good breakfast. Watching as his mother went off to go look for his little sister, he returned his gaze back onto Rosemary only to catch the slightest notice of her frown before tilting his head. He would've asked if there was something bothering her, but he had kept silent about it for the time being, in case it might've just been something personal that she wanted to keep to herself. "C'mon Rosemary. Lets go get something to eat, shall we?" He called out to her only to begin making his way towards the kitchen right after.

This had only taken him another minute or so to reach the actual kitchen itself. As he entered into the kitchen the cooks had all stopped what they were doing for only about a second or so to check at who had entered this time. Noticing as how it was the prince, they had welcomed him into the kitchen as Hiroaki had only given a nod with his own warm smile to them all. Smelling the sweetness of the tarts that his mother had baked, the prince slowly followed the smell over towards the large plate of tarts before taking a hold of two of them. Handing one over toward his guardian, Hiroaki placed one of them into his mouth first. "Here..have one." He spoke with his tone a bit muffled from the tart in his moth at the moment. While chewing on the tart, one of the other cooks had approached the prince with a plate of actual breakfast that had scrambled eggs, french toast and a few pieces of bacon on the side. Taking the plate, he gave a polite bow to the chef and began to make his way to the dining hall.

Athena sighed and started back the way she had come then stop to stare out into the forest with a quick look around she entered the forest. She had done it before especially with her brother but never by herself. She gripped her dagger glad she had brought it with her but she missed quiver and bow.

Clara walked threw the forest looking at there rulers home a smile on her face.

Rosemary looked up and nodded, shaking of her own personal sadness. "Yes, my prince." She said, following him into the kitchen. She accepted politely when he offered her a tart. She could tell from the scent that it was safe, not poisoned, and that the queen had made them. "Thank you." She said as the took a bite of the treat, dropping the formal talk for the moment. When they were alone, Rosemary spoke to the prince as a friend. Perhaps more than that, even... The thought startled her. She had always admired her charge, but to think of him that way? It was insane. Wasn't it? Once again a troubled expression clouded her features, this time staying long enough to be seen.
